AMAZING- 11.06.09
Quick Take: buildable coverage, natural finish
This is a great product! I used it to set the MUFE face & body liquid for a fuller coverage. The ONLY time it gave me an issue is when I layered it over philosophy's "the present" despite letting it dry as instructed. Great for us gals with combination/oily skin!
I'm really a foundation hater. I rarely wear it. I can't stand the feeling of it, weighing my skin down. Bleh.
I only apply it if I am going out for a fancy night on the town or drinks with the girls.
I've tried countless different brands and among the two brands I've found to like, this one takes its place in the selection. Its light and yet provides long lasting coverage. And for a girl who tends to touch her face often, coverage is key.
I do LOVE the even tone this provides my skin. It covers my dark circles without making the area look freakishly darker or off toned. It blends with the red undertones of my skin and the slight ruby colored birthmark on my cheek, without looking cakey.
(I only apply with my kabuki brush, for an even lighter coverage too. I find using the sponge leaves the powder harder to disperse.)
Best powder I have ever used. Doesn't look cakey and lasts all day without having to touch up or worry about shine. Truely amazing!

Best powder foundation EVER- 11.03.09

This is literally the best powder foundation I've ever used. I found that the liquid foundation was a bit too much for my skin on a daily basis- I was getting extremely oily by the end of the day. I didn't want a powder foundation that made my skin look so matte it was goofy looking. I tried this one on and I knew it was a match.
I wear this on a daily basis and my skin is not oily at the end of the day. I save my liquid foundation for weekends/special occasions where I want my skin to be flawless. This provides just enough coverage that I look put together but not overdone.
I LOVE this product! I use it with the liquid HD foundation as well by Makeup Forever. I also use the HD Primer and the HD concealer. I have pigmentation spots and this makeup hides this very well without using a lot of it. Great for those with large pores as it seems to minimize mine. My skin also looks very "smooth" in photos.
I really like this foundation first time that I try it. I was using the Sephora brand but they seem not to have it in stock?

I'm hooked!- 11.01.09
This is such an amazing compact. I was buying a Jane Irredal compact for way more and it did nothing compared to this one. I highly recommend this product. I have oily skin and it makes my face look and feel amazing.

The Duoa Mat Powder Foundation by Make up For ever, is abosolutely wonderful. It covers up mi blemishes and liberates my skin from becoming oily.
This foundation is AMAZING. Seriously, I finally found something that works for my combo/sensitive skin. I have very fair skin and shade 200 matches my skin perfectly. It provides great coverage and looks completely natural. I actually do not even need to use concealer when I wear this powder because it covers everything up so well. I also no longer need to use a primer or a shine/oil control product because this is so mattifying. And lastly, it doesn't break me out or clog my pores, which it incredible because normally everything breaks me out. My one and only gripe is the amount of, or shall I say the LACK of, powder in the compact for price.

I absolutely love this product. It goes on smoothly, and covers beautifully. I originally bought it to have as a backup compact for my purse, but I have found myself reaching for it, instead of my liquid Make up forever product, for a quick application before going out the door.

Too hot for teacher!- 10.29.09
Quick Take: non-drying, buildable coverage, plainly hot w/o being overdone
My female students teased me as they noticed my new "glow"! They stated that I looked rested and "put together"! I could have taken it wrong, but lets face it - I did look great! I wear it everyday avoiding the cheek area to keep a natural look while using a bit of NARS blush. I took this as a teachable moment with my young ladies- we need to lead by example!
Make Up For Ever: Duo Mat Powder Foundation is one of the best products I've used. Its not thick or cakey, it looks natural, has full coverage and it feels great on the skin.
I love this compact. I used to be a die hard Clinique girl since jr. high (now in my 30's) but was looking for a better compact with more coverage that wouldn't make me break out and didnt make my face look powdery in photos. I tried MAC and one of there main ingredients is OIL!! big mistake. Make up Forever provided flawless coverage while keeping my skin healthy. And you can use it with a wet or dry sponge! People do that with MAC but ask anyone at their counters, you are not supposed to. This powder is now a fav product and I recommend it to anyone who needs a great compact.
