The serum is great, clears skin fast. Eye cream and face wash I could take or leave. Lotion smells like meat; not great and very thick.

I bought this for my mother for her Bday! Unfortunatly she had a bad reation to it. She has very senative skin around her eye and cheekbone area. Her eyes puffed up. I I love philosophy my skin is great since I started using it.

I had been meaning to try these products for quite some time, and had finally run out of my regular moisturizer. Got this set because it was basically cheaper than buying items separately. I really like the When Hope Is Not Enough serum! I've noticed a big difference in my skin in a short time. The Hope In A Jar is really good for dry skin. I use it at night, and find it has done a better job than what I had been using. It's a little too heavy for me for daytime, but I use a tinted moisturizer with SPF, so that is not an issue. Purity is a fantastic cleanser - always leaves my skin feeling clean without being too tight or overdrying. The Hope In A Tube is ok; not sure I would have purchased that one on its own, so I figure it's a bonus. All in all, I would recommend it, especially for someone looking to try several Philosophy products.

Quick Take: a miracle to my skin
I've been using the purity facial for a few years now and it's the ONLY cleanser I will use. A couple of years later, I bought this kit and fell in love. My skin doesn't flake anymore from dryness and not oily from moisturizing. The eye and lip cream help with my puffiness and lines. Awesome product, I wouldn't change anything about it, it's helped my complexion immensly! Oh and the peel.....Some people pay big money for that but you get much more in this kit vs. going to a professional.

This skin care actually does what it says it will do. I have used it for 3 months and my skin looks better and I use less makeup. Not crazy about the scent, but the products work and that is amazing. I will continue to use this product and the price is reasonable when bought as a kit.

Quick Take: over-hyped
Really disappointing. The cleanser is nothing special, the serum smells like sweat, and the moisturizer was very waxy. I've used the entire kit (and of course everything runs out at different times, so you have to buy the individual components separately after a while) and my skin doesn't look any different. I still feel like I need to wear makeup all the time. For the price and the exaggerated claims, I'd think it would be more effective than drugstore products, but it isnt.

Quick Take: good value, great value in the kit
A friend gave me the cleanser and I loved it. When I saw the moisturizer was called "Hope in a Jar" I had to try it. Isn't that really what we buy - hope in all its manifestations. Well, Hope in a Jar was fabulous - I got the one for sensitive skiin and it was deeply moisturizing and calming. Hope in a Tube is fine around eyes and mouth and "When Hope is Not Enough" feels super - I can't believe 3 drops goes so far and feels so good.

Gave this 2 stars because i did like the face wash. I heard so many good things about Philosophy and I was in need of a moisturizer so i decided to give this a try. I was so disappointed in the moisturizer which was the main reason i got this. It smelled horribly, and is extremely greasy! I only applied a tiny amount on my face and when i woke up in the morning my face was incredibly greasy it was disgusting. The face wash on the other hand is amazing. I returned this kit and bought the face wash separately.

Quick Take: a nice way to try philosophy
I'm not completely thrilled with this set. I absolutely love the eye cream. You can immediately notice a difference when applying in the morning. The purity cleanser leaves my skin refreshed and clean, however the smell bothers me. It reminds me of a grapefruit that has gone bad. Hope in a jar is nice, but not the best moisturizer I've ever used. As far as the serium..I don't see any benefits, but I'm not at the age where I'm worrying about wrinkles yet.
