It was not what I expected, but it is non-drying. It doesn't foam or lather so the key is to have a dry face when you put it on. I probably wouldn't purchase it again, but I like it enough to finish the bottle. I haven't tried it for makeup removal so I can't comment on that.

Very good for sensitive skin. I am allergic to many products, even eyebrow wax! I had no reaction to this, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I use the clarisonic face scrubber with this product and the results are fabulous.

This is the best face wash I've ever used. I have been using it for just two weeks and my skin looks and feels awesome. My acne is even clearing up. My favorite part? Not having to use water to wash my face at night. Just wiping this stuff off with tissues keeps my skin nice and moisturizer. I don't even have to use goopy night cream anymore. I freaking love this stuff!

Best face wash u ever bought, my face was all red and dry until I got this and saw results the first time I used it. It doesn't get all foamy like other washes but it works great.

This cleanser is so gentle, I don't get that tight dry feeling after I use it which happens to me with everything I've tried before this. It's a very creamy texture, and does not lather, so if you like foams then I would not recommend this.

Expensive, but definitely good for dry skin

This stuff feels really great on your skin and I love using it. While it's REALLY expensive for face wash, my skin feels very soft and not tight and dry after I use it, like with other washes. It doesn't necessarily get all the makeup off like it claims to do, so don't expect it to be an all-in-one, but it does get off a good amount of mascara without using a makeup remover beforehand.

This is the only cleanser I have been able to use that doesn't irritate my severely sensitive skin and that DOES cleanse away makeup. The instructions say to use circular motions to cleanse face and it does take away ALL traces of makeup. It even removes eyemakeup, seriously. If this isn't removing makeup for other people, then they are not washing their face properly - circular motions for 30sec to a minute will do the trick. I love this gentle cleanser. I only wish there was a travel sized bottle available. Thank you DDF!!

My skin is quite dry this time of year, and sensitive year-round. Hoping to find a gentle, yet thorough cleanser, I struck out with this one. Gentle, yes....but lett a lot of make-up behind on one's face.

This is the only creamy cleanser I have ever used that really cleans my skin as well a a soapy cleanser, but doesn't dry my skin out. It also does not leave an oily residue. After using, my skin is clean, naturally soft, with no residue. I've used it for years -- sometimes I've branched off to other cleansers, but always come back to this one. Ideal for all sensitive skin, dry or oily or combo.

Gentle enough to use everyday, imparts lots of moisture and a little goes a long way due to the creamy consistency of the formula. I mainly keep it on hand for makeup removal and cleaning my face at night. My skin is never dry after use and breakouts are few and far in between now that I'm not overdoing it with taking away the oils my skin needs to stay supple.

I suffer from rosacea, dry patches, severe skin sensitivities & occassional acne. This is by far the most incredible product I've used on my skin. I have no more dryness, my skin is NOT red at all nor sensitive to the touch & it has not caused any breakouts. It is creamy & not suitable for oily skin. However, note that when rinsed off, it rinses clean & not slick or slippery to the skin. Just moist, supple & dewey.

I have VERY dry skin and this is the only cleanser I can use that doesn't dry it out. I have to wear makeup nearly every day and used to just wear my makeup to sleep, because washing my face every day was WAY too much for it, but now I can take my makeup off! So glad I found this product.

I love this product. I still use a olay facial wipe to wipe off my makeup, but then I use this all over my face to get the remainder of makeup, oils, dirt, etc. I do not know what the product is like ALL alone for use, because I use others, but I will continue to by this product!! LOve it. reduced my pore size!!
