Quick Take: easy to use
I use this for my scalp - I like the slightly tingly feeling it provides. I bought it because I thought using it on my scalp would encourage hair growth. An unexpected benefit is it stopped the uncomfortable feeling on my scalp that started happening when I put my hair up. Too soon to tell re: its helping expedite my hair growth but I like it. I think any moisturizing scalp treatment is bound to help with hair growth anyway

Quick Take: easy to use, versatile
Originally I was using this as a styling serum and hated it - it was way too heavy and greasy. Eventually I shifted to using it primarily as a scalp treatment for dry skin and hair (using the product for what it's intended - imagine that!), and have come to really love it. The smell is wonderful and it feels so nice on your skin. I regularly massage it into my scalp at night and then shampoo out in the morning - it leaves my hair soft and my scalp less dry. I also mix a little bit in with a spray bottle of water for styling second day curls, and it adds a nice little bit of shine and a minty smell.

i was dealing with an itchy flaky scalp due to cold weather and blow drying and this product is so easy to use, smells great and works instantly. I have tried everything but this works the best

I love Carol's Daughter hair oil treatment. I bought the Tui hair oil I while ago and fell in love with it. I have over half the bottle left but felt like buying another. This time I bought Lisa's Hair and this one is really cool because I like the smell of peppermint. I use this as a leave in after I wash my hair. I have very thick hair and when my hair dries with this product it is definitely more manageable. It is affordable and lasts a loooong time so you get your money's worth.

Great for scalp!

I have psoriasis on my scalp so I'm pretty willing to try anything reasonably priced to see if it works (vs my $350/month foam prescription that I try not to buy unless it gets bad). This not only soothed my scalp itching but also really cleaned my psoriasis up without making my hair oily. My husband also tried it and liked it as well. Love this product!

I love Carol's Daughter shampoos and conditioners, but this hair elixir doesn't absorb well into the scalp/hair and leaves hair oily. It did make my scalp feel tingly and nice, but made my hair look so dirty! Definitely returned it.

Quick Take: quick results
love this for my scalp, my scalp is SUPER DRY it gets really bad and using this only a couple times when its dry fixes it almost completely, i use it a few different ways; either i massage it into my scalp and hair and leave it on for about half an hour before i get in the shower and then rinse as usual, or if i have less time, in the shower i put it on my hair and scalp and leave on for a few minutes before shamp/cond, or if i have even less time than that i just add a few drops to my shampoo, i usually do that every day when i can't leave it on longer. i don't notice much to my hair but i like the smell, i started using the CD black vanilla shampoo and conditioner and that leaves my hair super soft.

I love love love this product. The smell is absolutely amazing and it doesnt leave a greasy feeling on my hair. Although it leaves my hair shiny, the shine does not last as long as I would like for it too. That is the only thing i dislike about it.

I use this product solely for scalp treatment. I was my hair daily (because of where I work). My scalp gets dry and irritated. I use this product 2 times a week and my scalp feels more calm and moisturized without feeling greasy. This product works very well even my husband likes it.

i'm glad i finally found a good hair oil that smells so good. i love the peppermint/sage smell! i've been looking for hair/scalp oil for extra moisturizer as i transition from relaxed to natural hair. i apply morning and night. gives a shiny, not greasy appearance.

I always use this before I shampoo. If I don't, my hair gets very frizzy. When I use it before shampooing, my scalp feels so fresh and tingly, and my hair looks beautiful. I very much recommend this product!
