Quick Take: foamy, exfoliating
This is my go to cleanser when my face is freaking out due to a new product, stress, hormones, or environmental factors. Be careful because it can be drying. I use very little and the key is to let it soak in for a while. I use it with my Clarisonic and I use even less product. Can cause some redness, but it goes away quickly.

Initially when I first started using this product I had a lot of discoloration and hyper pigmentation. Not anymore of course! I use this face wash almost every night. I used to use it night and morning but I don't need to anymore. This product is pretty much perfect. It's very gentle and non irritating. I have acne prone sensitive skin so irritating products are a big no no with me. I highly recommend giving this exfoliating wash a try!

Quick Take: foamy, exfoliating, wonder product
This is hands down, HANDS DOWN, the BEST facial cleanser I have ever used. I honestly don't know why I was never introduced to the benefits of glycolic acid before! I have been using this cleanser for about a month or two now, and it has yet to disappoint me. I saw results immediately (I'm talking after my first use!!!). My pores were less visible and my skin felt exfoliated and smooth. This also helps to reduce hyper-pigmentation (I am prone to freckles), and literally zaps acne away faster than any product I have ever used. I would caution anyone with super sensitive skin to be careful with this product as it is potent- get a sample first before investing in a bottle. Other than that, I am totally hooked on this product. I have recommended DDF to co-workers, friends and family- and all of them love it as much as I do!!!!

I read an article in New Beauty about how to deal with different facial skin issues. For problem adult acne it recommended DDF Glycolic Exfoliating Wash 5% along with Kate Summerville Clinic To Go Pads Oly Proxclear Sulfer Mask and Oley Proxclear UV Moisturizer and Dermaligical overnight clearing gel. I have been using them as directed for 2 months and my face has never been this smooth & spot free! Believe me I have spent tons of money on alot of high end moistuzers & other high end products over the years and the results did not even touch what I getr from these products. The products I have listed truly have changed the look & feel of my face. I always looked way younger than my 52 years. And now I not only look young but have no embarrassing pimples!

Reduced acne and brown spots

Before spending any money on beauty products I spend a lot of time reading reviews and thus take it seriously to review something. However, I do feel strongly that this wash used in combination with my Clarisonic brush has made a very noticeable difference in my skin's appearance. I have (had) light brown acne scars and suffer from hormonal acne, however after using this for about 6 weeks I can tell a big difference! The spots are lighter to almost gone, I've experienced much less acne than usual, and my skin feels soft. I think it took time for this to work but that is a good thing... it wasn't harsh or drying. (It does sting if you get it in your eyes.) It has gently exfoliated over the weeks. While it’s a bit pricy I haven't used very much so I know this will last a long time. I also use about once a week on my body. I would recommend to anyone with mild to moderate acne and normal skin.

DDF My Holy Grail

Quick Take: exfoliating, mattifying
I really love this cleanser. I use it at night and a salicylic acid cleanser in the morning, but my skin is extremely oily and acne prone, besides aging! My skin is pretty much oil and breakout free thanks to this cleanser and the other DDF glycolic products I use (the glycolic toner and oil control gel). I don't have any issues with extreme dryness or peeling that some mentioned, probably because of the extreme oiliness. This cleanser tingles and does an excellent job of washing away makeup and the day's dirt. My skin is smoother and clearer, my breakouts have pretty much stopped and my skin is no longer an oil slick. I actually have to use a moisturizer now, something I would have never done (despite all the stuff that says oily skin needs a moisturizer). I would rather a little dry skin in return for barely any oil and no breakouts, especially at my age. DDF is my skin's Holy Grail. I am so thankful for Sephora and DDF!

I bought this to control my breakouts as an alternative to products with salicylic acid which are horribly drying. Overall, my skin looks the best it has in years. But it is drying if used more than once a day.

I was addicted to the DDF exfoliating salicylic acid wash, it made my skin super soft and smooth, but they've discontinued it. I was hoping this would be a good substitute, given the reviews, but after three weeks it still leaves my skin really dry and peels if I use it more than once every two days. I don't think chemical exfoliation is as effective on my skin.

This is a good basic cleanser. I'm on my second bottle of it. The directions say daily use, but I use it morning and night without any problems with sensitivity or drying. I use it with my Clarisonic and I feel that it has improved the texture of my skin, along with the Glycolic Toner. I also have been using the Retinol Serum at night for about 2 weeks now, and wow! It's pricy, but my skin looks so healthy and radiant. The gal at Sephora told me that Glycolic and Retinol work really well together. Overall, I've been very pleased with all of DDF's products that I've tried.

This baby is amazing!!!!! Keeps my skin clear and clean. Gentle but can be a little drying so make sure to get a great moisturizer. Overall I love it!

Doubles as a body wash

I've been using this product since it was first introduced to me 8 years ago by my esthetician. Happy to see it carried at Sephora. Used daily, it helps lighten my scars and smooth the skin. During the summer I like to use it as a body wash to help make my skin softer. SPF is needed though!
