Quick Take: leaves skin very smooth, diminishes fine lines
I love this product! I am in my late fifties and I use it every morning and at night. Yes, it stings a bit but I wait about ten minutes and follow up with my regular face cream. What a different in my skin!!!

I was looking for a new toner when I bought this... I like a toner you feel cleaning, so some stinging is to be expected, and I have been using there moisturizer for a while, so it seemed logical. I put it on the first time, and not only did it sting, but my face where I put it on my cheek went all red and blotchy... glad I spot checked.

My husband and I get the occasional pimple here and there, and we tried everything, from Murad to you name it. Nothing worked, except for this DDF Glycolic Toning Complex!!! Our faces are awesome! No more zits!!!

Quick Take: non-drying, refreshing, acne treating
Oh, how I love this glycolic toner! I'm 31 and no wrinkles yet, so I only use this toner once a week to exfoliate my skin and encourage cell-turnover. It plumps the epidermis and absolutely does create a youthful glow. Use it at night and you'll wake up to better skin. The glycolic acid also helps to repel any acne that are even thinking about coming out, and, lastly, this toner helps my serum and moisturizer sink in better. What a holy grail this is!

Quick Take: non-drying, acne treating
I've been using this toner every night for the past 2 years, and it has done wonders for my skin, like a lot of DDF products. It surprisingly does not dry out my skin at all even though I use it every night in conjunction with a DDF cleanser. If you're not used to using products with glycolic acid, I'd maybe use this once a day every other night and see how your skin handles it. I've struggled with acne and breakouts since I was 14, and glycolic products have turned my skin around. Was using benzoyl peroxide, but that didn't do anything for me but dry my skin out and it didn't help reduce breakouts at all. Since switching to glycolic acid products, my skin is softer and the tone more even. This along with a strict diet of no wheat, soy, grains, or dairy and processed foods has given me the most clear skin - still get breakouts, but they are much limited now (of course, I break out more when it's the time of the month or when I give into sugar/carbs) and I find myself having to apply less foundation. my only big problem now is indented scarring from old acne. Very satisfied with DDF products - give them a try and you will not be sorry.
This toner can be tingly when applied, but that doesn't bother me. I always wake up with smoother skin when I use this at night. I hope this product is never discontinued!

This toner has completely changed my skin! It has dramatically improved the tone and texture as well as reducing break-outs. It has also aided in oil production without stripping my skin or causing dryness. It also has a great tingly sensation. I have yet to find a DDF product that I haven't loved!

Smells funky but....

This is a great toner! I really like it, works great with my combination skin. I find that it helps keep my acne at bay.
However, this might be a bit harsh for those with sensitive skin or those with a sensitive nose. It smells really awful. I will repurchase when I run out as I really do like it despite the smell.

I use this toner twice a day, in the am and pm. I can't live without it, I don't know what I would have done if this product did not exist! The best thing I have added to my skin care regimen! I don't ever breakout anymore, this product keeps my skin clear, and it has worked wonders in fading out my acne stars it is a true miracle! DDF I love you!

I've been using this for several weeks now and my skin is noticeably smoother and softer. I haven't noticed a decrease in pore size, which is a shame, but not a deal breaker for me since I have never found a pore minimizer that actually works anyway. It doesn't seem to dry out my skin (I have super sensitive skin) but I also tend to put a good amount of moisturizer on over it once it dries, then slap on my makeup. I have also noticed some decrease in the appearance of some of the lines starting to pop up on my face (like a crease right between my eyes), though it doesn't get rid of it completely, of course (not yet anyway!). Overall, I like the product and will probably buy it again!

I have slightly oily skin that seems to need a lot of exfoliation to remove dead skin or else I get little black heads or white heads. However, scrubbing my skin or using abrasives creates little red irritation spots. This toner plus the DDF acne scrub were the perfect combination to keep my skin clear. Unfortunately, the scrub has been discontinued, so I may have to tweak my routine.

I have VERY acne-prone skin, and this toner got rid of the last few pimples that I could not clear up! I use this morning and night, before I wash my face, because glycolic acid can interfere with some other products I use. A few minutes after toning, I use my Clarisonic brush with Cerave cleanser. In the morning, I follow it with RX clindamycin gel and benzoyl peroxide gel, then Cerave AM lotion. In the evening, I follow it with RX clindamycin, Cerave PM lotion, and RX Retin-A Micro. I have clear skin for the first time in my life! I love it! The combination of Cerave, BP, and DDF Glycolic Toner cleared up my friend's acne, too.

Excellent at removing clogs and clearing face

This product works wonders. I am 29, have what I recently discovered is somewhat dry/sensitive skin that is prone to clogs around the chin/jaw area, unevenness on the forehead, and some hormonal breakouts. I am also interested in some anti-aging properties.
First, the cons - this doesn't smell great going on, but the skunky scent dissipates after a minute or so. Also I have to say the packaging sucks. My first bottle completely spilled when I was travelling and I lost pretty much all of it =( I do not find that the product stings like other reviewers have said.
I have been using this over a month, and the results are fantastic. I use a salicylic acid at night after washing (I use mineral oil to cleanse), and I swipe this on with a cotton ball when I wake up in the morning. It has pretty much eliminated the clogs around my chin/jaw and the hormonal breakouts, and my forehead is completely clear. I also find it very moisturizing, and I don't have redness or irritation around my nose like I used to. When I don't use this for even a day, the clogs start to reappear around my cheeks/chin. I have actually gotten compliments on my skin, no joke. The bottle does seem to last quite a while, so I am definitely willing to shell out the money for this. I do believe that my success is the result of my skin regime in total, but I think this product is a definite key.

i totally love this, my pores are a little smaller, but this toner is so refreshing it makes me want to keep using it all day. it is expensive but worth it. it wont dry out your face like other toners do and i havent broken out after threading or waxing since i've been using this

I have been using this product for 2 weeks. I have been using it every other day and it has been very successful at reducing my oil, smoothing out my skin, and sluffing off skin around pimples that won't normally shed because of oil production. My current cleasing routine...remove eye make up, use RX Benzoyl Peroxide with my clairsonic face machine, then the Toner, then moistures etc. Although it is not gone it is a huge difference! I still have to use blotting sheets during the day. I also use Physician's Formula Powder Foundation. Have not used liquid foundation. I have been using Murad Oil Control Mattifier with SPF before powder and that has been very effective too for control. On the days I do not use the Toner I use the DDF Sulfur Mask (everyother day even though recommended 1-2x wk). I have been working at getting the right products for 10+ years and this is working for me now. Also, you know if your Clairsonic is getting your skin clean by using this toner afterwards and so far I have had very little residue (powder foundation).

I really like this toner. I normally stay away from toners with alcohol, as my skin has reacted in the past with dry red flaky patches. Not so with this toner. It has a refreshing cooling tingle and doesn't over dry at all. I have sensitive, acne prone skin. This has definitely improved the texture of my skin. It is smoother and has a healthy glow to it. Not as dull as before I started using this. I've been using it twice a day for about 3 weeks now, and have only gone through about 1/5th of the bottle. The price seems high, but there is a lot of product and will last a long time, so it's a good value.
