What it is:A finely milled powder composed
completely of natural elements with 15 active amino
acids. What it is formulated to do:Helps clear the skin
of toxins, promotes healthy skin cell growth, and fights
the aging process. Oil-free and water-resistant, it can
be applied either as a buildable foundation or a
pigmented powder.
i bought this powder about two weeks ago and have been in love ever since! ive been a BE user for about three years prior and this is the best foundation i have used. it feels so great, has none of that messy clean up that BE has, much better packaging, and makes my skin look so much better.
this last very long on my semi-oily skin and is everything i have been looking for.
if you are looking for a new mineral foundation i entirely recommend this!!
This is the BEST mineral powder foundation that I have EVER used, and I've tried a LOT of mineral make-ups! I didn't really know much about the LM brand, and I am so happy that I have discovered this line! This make-up leaves my face looking so flawless. I have combo-oily/sensitive skin and this powder does NOT cause me any breakouts or irritations, whatsoever! I get so many compliments on how great my skin looks! You don't need to use too much of this powder; start with a small amount, and then gradually build, until you get the coverage you want. I just absolutely love this mineral powder!!

Classic Beige- 11.18.09
Quick Take: non-drying, natural finish, non irritating, talc free, long wearing, paraben free, silicone free
I've tried a lot of mineral foundations and this ranks as one of my top two favorites. My skin is in pretty good condition so I only need to cover a bit of redness and even out my skin tone. This covers well and it lasts all day. As with any mineral powder if you don't overdo it, the finish looks natural and it's long wearing. I love the lack of unpronounceable ingredients in this powder plus it's talc, silicone, and paraben free. It's expensive for the small amount you get and my container didn't seem to last as long as usual. But compared to all the other mineral powder foundations I've tried I've decided I like this one the best.
I had given up on loose mineral makeup until this. It is nothng like Bare Escentuals. For one thing, and this makes a difference to me, the container has a closing comparment so you can stop all of the product from ending up in the lid. It is so much silkier and finer than BE and lasts forever on my skin. It covers very well, too, but does not get stuck (again, like BE) in fine lines. The colors on the site are decieving. I am NC 30, was light in BE, and am Real Sand in this. I strongly suggest anyone give this a try, I use the Trish Sawyer dense powder brush, I think it is ore precise then the usual Kabuki brush with the ackward short handle.

not for everyone- 11.16.09
It looked good in the morning, but by late afternoon, it had settled into the lines around my eyes and generally looked uneven. Within a few days I started breaking out on my chin.

had to return it....- 11.16.09
Quick Take: natural finish
i was recommended by a sephora staff mainly because it matched my skin color. it goes on smooth and looks really pretty for first hour or two but after that, it looked really cakey. had to return it
I love this formula of mineral powder. I have normal/oily skin and this actually improves that way it looks. I've had people ask me what type of makeup I wear becuase my skin looks great when I have this on. I use classic beige in the summer and rich vanilla in the fall. Great!
This is pretty decent mineral powder, compared to the ones I've used. It is better pigmented than Bare Minerals yet remain great coverage. It does not cause pimples in my face which is pretty sensitive. And I like this big jar ! Easy to apply and use.
This mineral powder is a great finishing powder over my oil-free tinted moisturizer. This color warms up my skin and gives me a great glow... without shininess or sparkle. Plus it lasts at least 6 months. I wear it everyday and only purchase it twice a year,.

Great skin? Who me?- 11.08.09
Quick Take: natural finish, a must try
Laura Mercier is the Queen of deception. Since wearing her powder (and all her face makeup products) even strangers comment on what great skin I have. This fast-to-apply foundation powder lasts all day without turning color and evens out even the worst complexions. Use it with her Mineral Foundation Primer for best results and longer staying power.

i likey!- 11.04.09
Quick Take: buildable coverage, natural finish
i was never a fan of any kind of powder and i like alot of coverage because of acne scars ,but i now feel and look natural ,with out looking cakey. i love this mineral im not changing,im not sure if its the wortht the price though??
I absolutely love this foundation. It is great for my combination skin. My T-zone gets extremely oily and this doesn't float off my skin like BE does! I was a little concerned about finding a "winter color" though. I am Asian and always needs to make sure makeup is yellow enough for me. Rich Vanilla is great for me in the summer. But now that it's close to winter, my tan is faded. I've been experimenting with other pressed powder foundations but they are all to chalky and too matte. I finally came back to this and Natural Beige is a perfect color!! The finish gives you a glow and definitely covers flaws. It lasts all day (especially with a primer...I use Smashbox Light) and never looks cakey. I also love how there is SPF! This is the best mineral makeup out there!!

Mercier Mineral Podwer great for evening and day- 11.03.09
I'm a fan of all her products, but am loyal to the mineral powder, it provides a great finish and aids to even out skin tone - I buy a shade darker works well with my light skin tone and hair color, perks up my coloring, I use more for evenings, less during the day for a natural look.

Quick Take: non-drying, natural finish
It's good, feels nice on my skin, and the packaging is soooo much better than Bare Minerals. If I use the right amount it makes my skin even and glowy, but I have to be careful not to use too much or it can look chalky and obvious. I like the sheer coverage, but others might want to layer up for a little more coverage, and it might start to look cakey for them. If it covered my undereye circles, then it would have gotten 5 stars.
I love this product. I started using it about 2 years ago when I was seeking a more natural-ingredient powder. It leaves your skin looking gorgeous...worth the few extra bucks you might pay over another brand.

Not what I was hoping for- 10.29.09
Quick Take: natural finish, drying, no staying power
I've heard only great things about this powder so I decided to give it a shot. I did not like this at all. I used it with LM hydrating primer and it still completely dried out my skin. It sank into my pores after about 2 hours and would clump where my glasses touch my face. This makeup only looked great on me right after I applied it. A couple hours later and I would have been better off going bare.
What I did like was the natural looking finish and that this product does not contain talc. I have since switched to LM tinted moisturizer and I like it a lot.
