Works, but nothing amazing

I had high hopes for the DDF line, and I bought this Gel along with the Salicylic Wash 2% and Pumice Acne Scrub with each other for about 2-3 weeks now. I don't have severe acne but I would say it's moderate/more than just one pimple at a time kind of thing. So far it hasn't quite diminished my acne though I have noticed that they are a lot smaller in size. I used to get cystic acne but since I've been using this, it's been small ones with whiteheads and they generally go away after a few days. However, it didn't really clear out my acne.
This gel in particular is a bit drying so use it sparingly/concentrate on where you have acne. I am going to continue to use it but so far I haven't found an acne line that would really take away my acne from within (as well as the scarrings left from old acne). Maybe if I use it longer it might show better results.

first time i've tried this, and it immediately calmed my skin ...i get stress and hormonal break outs. it has not only sloughed away the dead skin, and cleanses and clears it...though it does sometimes leave my skin rather parched after using it. the directions say that you should use only a small amount of the product...they are not kidding, just a dab will do you

I've been battling my acne for years now so I thought this may be what my skin needed. Now while it makes your skin feel very clean it is just too harsh if you have sensitive skin. My skin tone got worse to the point that after only a week I had to stop using it. I would recommend this to someone with tough skin and severe acne but if your skin is sensitive this will hurt your skin not help it.

I have had acne since I was 13 years old & it's been a constant battle to find the right product. I've used Proactiv for years which got my face fairly clear but just couldn't clear it all the way...Being 25 now, having bad skin is really just annoying when you are a young professional. On a whim to try something new, I started using the DDF Pumice Acne Scrub with the Toner (Glycolic 10%) and the Sulfa Therapeutic mask as needed (once a week or once every other week) about 3 months ago.. and people are actually commenting on how nice I look. I feel like my face is refreshed.. It didn't INSTANTLY clear my face.. but my face is clearer than it has ever been since I was 13 years old..
I'm a believer in DDF products!

Not too harsh, not to mild, just right!

I'm very happy I bought this scrub. It does the job perfectly! I can tell right away after using it, that it not only left my skin smoother, but that it also removed all the excess oil. It can leave your skin too dry if you use it every day or in combination with other acne products, so wait a day or two before using it again. Also, I tend to use a lot of product, but I learned with this scrub not to because just a dollop did the trick. Using more than that was a waste.

Great Scrub!

Works wonders on my blemishes! I love a good exfoliant and this product delivers. Been using it for about 3 wks now and haven't seen a blemish thus far. It does dry out my skin a bit though, so I need to use a good oil-free moisturizer.

I really like the product. I used to use the peter thomas roth, but this one has little beads to exfoliate the top layer of dead skin that makes this product more efficient.

Makes your face feel so clean! I really scrub and leave it on to soak in my skin while I wash my hair to give it the extra kick. I use it every morning, but not at night because it will over dry your skin if you are not careful. I spray a refreshing tonic by bocia with botanical blast after I get out of the shower and I am set for the day! I have super oily skin, with lots of potential acne at the ripe age of 40! Love this stuff!

I used to have really bad acne. After a series of facials, different products etc. my skin finally calmed down. I use this as a kind of buffer against breakouts. I love that it exfoliates because I feel like the BPO really gets deep down. I use this twice a day and at night put on 5% BPO topical cream.

I love this product!! not only does it help control my acne, but the little "beads" exfoliate my skin, which saves money since now I don't have to buy any separate exfoliating product. I have used this product once a week, and have noticed my skin lookes brighter, and with less breakouts. I use the DDF-Salicylic Wash daily to help control the oily skin/breakouts. For anyone with oily, acne prone skin, this product rocks! One side note - it is winter, and I have experienced a few dry patches; using a moisturizer solves that.

gentle scrub for acne prone skin

i love this scrub because it's gentle enough for my face and intense enough for my body. The benzoly peroxide helps to keep future breakouts at bay and the massive bottle will last you at least six months and that's with every day use - so it's worth the price.

This scrub is extremely effective. I use it daily in conjunction to the 10% glycolic wash and my skin has never been happier. Never. This product exfoliates quicker and better than any other facial exfoliator I have ever used. My skin is clear. I had porcelain skin until my early 20's when I developed stress-related adult acne on my chin and sometimes cheeks. I used the proactive line, and every single prescription med product out there. They all dried out my skin and aggravated my problem. Not until DDF did I see actual results. I am truly grateful.

As an adult still struggling with acne, I have found a wash that makes my sking smooth (pumice), feel clean, and helps control acne to some extent...hormones cannot be controlled without medicine. The face wash can be drying so a good moisturizer is a must.

Best Exfoliator Ever!

Quick Take: super effective
This product exfoliates in more than one way. There are many tiny granules and a little goes a long way. You can use about a quarter size to cover your whole face and the bottle is so big it could take a year or more to use it all. The benzoyl peroxide helps my skin be even smoother and pimple free. I definatley would recommend this product because it have given me similar results to an at-home glycolic peel system

I've been using this for a month and find it to be helpful for managing acne. I generally use this product once a day, but occasionally need to take a one day break to give my skin a rest from the exfoliation. Good for face and body, but be careful about bleaching hair and dark fabrics.

I love this scrub!! It's slightly foaming light soap with lots of pumice for scrubbing. It makes my skin feels sooo clean. It's good for acne b/c of the benzoyl peroxide. I use it in the shower so my skin is soft so my face doesn't look like i just scrubbed it.
