Quick Take: non-sticky, long lasting, smooth, non-scented, sheer smooth colors
I love smashbox Illume. All of their glosses are great. They are smooth, non-sticky, and long lasting. I always keep one extra in my make-up caddy! Once you try it you won't use any other gloss.

my favorite NUDE SHIMMER GLOSS

i've been searching high and low and have finally found my perfect nude gloss. i found it when i bought the Smashbox "Try It" box, which came with a tiny sample size of their Lip Enhancing Gloss in "Illume." My lips are darker in color, but with my olive complexion, this gloss gives me a very beautiful, nude look, with plenty of sparkle and shine. I can use it with almost any liner and it blends nicely, or just wear it alone (my favorite look).

I used to like this champagne shade, but Smashbox must have changed the formula. It goes on much sheerer, so the color barely comes through. I also preferred when Smashbox had the brush applicator instead of the sponge applicator it now uses. I took this one back.

I love this lipgloss! It's very moisterizing & doesn't dry lips out at all! I have it in Illume & it's a gorgeous nude! That color is the perfect nude! It's smells like M.A.C lipsticks, which is a sweet vanilla kind of smell. And it's not sticky, but not to thin. Perfect!

The feel and taste of this gloss weren't offensive. I don't remember it being particularly sticky or drying. The taste I don't even really remember the specifics of, so it wasn't terrible. What made me return this was the color. I purchased Starlet, which when first applied is a really nice red, but as so many red lipsticks/glosses are apt to do, it quickly turned into this really obnoxious fuschia. I'm talking like in less than an hour, without food or drink.
I guess I'm still on the hunt for a red that stays red for more than five minutes.

Quick Take: a smash! very unique shades
Very nice gloss...thick and long lasting. Glitter needs to be applied with a couple coats which I think is a waste of product. But please do understand these glosses are sheer and require a lipstick as a base. It's made just to add shimmer and tone.

I LOVE this lip gloss but HATE the wand applicator end. It is not as shown on Sephora's page. It is not a smooth end wand, it is like a bristle brush and the more you use it, the more the individual hairs/bristles separate

I have always been one to keep away from lipgloss because I would often find myself annoyed by the sticky lips, but I am really happy I gave this one a try. I loved the colors Illume, which came with the Smashbox try it Kit, and Radiant which I decided to purchase as well. They are not sticky like other glosses, and accentuate many complexions.

I love this gloss. Doesnt feel greasy and lasts and looks great. I paired this gloss Pulse with Nars lipstick Shrinagar. It is a fabulous look. Not flashy at all and can be worn day and nite.

Comfortable Texture, Uniform Consistency

This lip gloss wears more like a balm. It's definitely much less sticky (and glossy) than other glosses I use. I've tried it in several colors, though my favorite is Radiant. It stays on for a while while hugging lips. It's understated enough to be a gloss, but pigmented enough to look like a subtle lipstick. The scent is nice. I particularly like Smashbox's wand. It's the perfect size for the gloss container, while allowing for easy, uniform application to your lips. What I love about this gloss is that it has (subtle) built in sparkles, which reflect the light, and make your smile glow. =)

Quick Take: very pretty
Got this in the Smashbox trial kit... of all the glosses I have tried so far I think this one has the best staying power. If I bought a full size I would try to find one without glitter, but that's just a personal preference... even with the glitter in this shade I wear it constantly and it's very pretty :)
