Exceptional natural looking bronzer + Super Classy- 08.12.09
Quick Take: silky luxurious application
I am very pleased with Givenchy Prismissime in Sunset - beyond pleased - I LOVE it! All the other Prismissime's have a lot of shimmer, which turns to silver on my skin over the course of the day and really highlights my large pores. But Sunset has only one shimmer shade - the very middle - and it is a very muted shimmer at that. I use this as an all-over blush/bronzer. This reminds me of Dior's new Harmonie in Rose, only this one is about double the size and only a few dollars more! The powder goes on like silk; I apply it on top of my setting powder and it blends so well, doesn't look chalky or layered in any way. I use my Sephora Platinum full-bristled powder brush and run it down and then back up - I don't swirl it because that just gets the powder everywhere. All the colors blend together beautifully on my skin to a creamy looking flushed tan - not matte, but also not "glowing" (which honestly only means shimmery).
I have not used this as an eyeshadow and don't ever plan to - there is nothing about these shades to make them stand out on the eye, but it is remarkable what magic they work on cheeks, temples and forehead. I cannot recommend this enough! Yes, it is quite pricey, but will last forever, and, in my opinion, accomplishes the combined work of bronzer and blusher for all-day wear. And if you don't like it, you can always return any product to Sephora for a full refund or store credit!

This item is expensive but Chic and elegant. I love it ! Easy to apply and you can combine colors as you want or as you feel. The color choice were wise! Appropriate to any occasion. It is multi purpose and functional. Great to eyes and cheeks as blush, bronzer or shimmer or shadow in a compact size. Very happy :)

i purchased this product and was very satisfied. the shadow feels nice and soft: velvety. the face colors are perfect for my skin tone, and go on nicely. its very pricy, but definitely worth it,l even if you're low on cash. in fact, it will save you because you only need to purchase the fabulous ensemble of colors, and you won't need anything else! (except the brush, in which case i would recommend a bare escentuals or too faced brush)

Prismissime - Face & Eye Powder is Very Luxurious!- 05.09.09

I've experimented with this Beautiful pallet, and they are so many ways to use it. It looks lovely as eyeshadow using only the shimmer, or both a soft matte & a shimmer... I like using my brush over the diamond-like center to mix up my own pink's and coral's for a Natural Blush. This Pallet is very easy to use as a Bronzer or highlighter, while you're able to create your own skin tone. Since this has both Matte, and shimmery tones I'm able to control the amount of shimmer in any type of application. Prismissime- is so easy to use, and looks beautiful anytime. Each shade is finely-milled and highly pigmented. It's easy for us to combine many looks from this one pallet! The Gold Shimmer is Lovely, you can place a dab of this in the center of Lipstick or Lip gloss... Givenchy's Prismissime goes on very soft, is long lasting and is a Luxurious pallet of shades. This is Perfect for the Summer, but I'll use it anytime of the year!

Givenchy's Face & Eye Powder is a magnificent product. It has nine beautiful colors that blend perfectly together. I have used these eyeshadows in many different color combinations and the combinations are endless. These shadows are highly pigmented and long lasting. I haven't used this on my face, just my eyes, but I'm sure it would make a lovely highlighter for the face, too. This is a good value for so many eyeshadow colors in one palette.

Quick Take: good value, beautiful colors
I picked these up recently because I wanted a new compact to take on a trip and these shades looked great. I love Givenchy products and these shadows did not disappoint! They are velvety soft, blend like a dream and give you a gorgeous, natural look. The shades remind me of chocolates! They stay on all day and I never have problems with creasing, though I do use a primer.
