Quick Take: amazing, effective
I love this wash. I have terrible acne and oily skin and have tried lots of different skin care lines and none have clear my sin very well. I bought this on a recommendation of a sale clerk at sephora. I have not had such great results. This isn't too harsh and leaves my skin feeling clean. Kind of expensive but definitely worth it

Removed Pimples, Left Dry Skin

Before I truly knew the cause of my pimples, all I knew was that I had them. Upon Perricone MD discontinuing the cleanser I used for my acne, I was recommended this cleanser.
Background: I am fair skinned with freckles, but have incredibly sensitive skin. I have dermographism, which causes my skin to turn bright red and burn whenever it's touched excessively. At the time of buying this, my skin seemed combination, leaning towards oily. What I didn't know is that I actually have dry skin, but due to the use of strong products, it caused my skin to be oily (which gave me acne).
This cleanser DID clean up my acne, but it gave me the driest, most flakey skin I've ever seen. I was almost to the point of wanting to slather petroleum jelly all over my face. So this product did get rid of my acne, but uncovered the truth that I have dry skin.
From here I have moved onto gentle cleansers and my skin has never been happier. I can't dock the product from my own misinterpretation of my skin and it's condition. For those with TRULY oily skin, I could see how it could do good things.
The lesson is sometimes it's best to start with the most gentle thing and work your way up to stronger, intense products! All of my oiliness (including my hair) has been due to simply a lack of hydration!

Quick Take: made me break out
The very first time I used this my skin got destroyed, I got terrible break outs all over my face. I also noticed it contains parabens. Not a fan of this product. I've used salicylic acid washes before and never had a problem. Must be something else in the product.

This has helped clear up my skin in some problem areas. It works well, isn't drying or too intense but does exactly what it's supposed to. My skin feels nice after using this.

Great acne fighting cleanser

I've been using this for the past two years, and it's much better than Murad's Clarifying cleanser which I was using before switching to this. The Murad cleanser was very drying, but this seems to be softer on my skin. I use this every other night - the other nights I use DDF's Glycolic Exfoliating Wash. I found that when I used this salicylic cleanser without using the DDF glycolic toner afterwards, my skin was congested. But this cleanser is gentle - for my skin at least.

this is the best face wash i have ever used! my skin tends to be fairly oily. this wash has helped tremendously cut back on facial oil. i also like the fact that it does not over dry my skin, i use it ever night.

Quick Take: exfoliating
This is a MOST HAVE face product; especially if you wear make-up everyday. When I have tried other products, I don't feel like my face is completely clean. With DDF Salicylic Wash 2%, my face gets a tingly, fresh feeling right before bed!

Quick Take: gel like
Husband hates his ski n scarred, oily and acne. He just buys over counter acne face wash,other products, ect. which never seemed to work. I bought him this after having awesome help by sales person. His skin is not oily and skin is looking healthier.

Quick Take: effective, gentle
I started suffering from acne my last year of high school :/ after having nearly perfect skin! Since then (i am now 20) I have tried TONS of products including the clinique system, murad, purity, peter thomas roth. I was going to purchase the full size PTR wash but realized i was just "settling" and i saw the DDF Salicylic Wash and gave it a chance instead. WOW...in the first week my skin had completely changed..it was very soft and less oily. Amazing! Its been a month and at the moment i have ONE small pimple near my hairline- which is of course nothing to those who have suffered from acne.
I use the wash day and night. My night regimen consists of using my Clarisonic at night, appling my Clinique Dramatically Different Gel, and then using the DDF Sulfur mask on spots. Every other day iI apply the mask to my cheeks as directed. With this regimen, I'm slowly starting to love my skin again.
P.s give the Sulfur mask a chance as well!

Cleared up my skin

I started getting acne problems a while back, and went through almost every skincare line at Sephora to combat it. This was my final product, and it actually worked! I use it at morning and at night with the DDF brush. I also use the DDF sulfur mask once a week. The only problem with this product is that is really burns if you accidentally get some in your eyes and that it can be harsh on your skin. My skin is now almost perfectly cleared and I have only used this for about 1 month.

I have searched high and low for a cleanser that will not only clean my face but not leave it oily. After trying several cleansers I finally came across DDF. I got the sample from Sephora and used it for about a week. I could definitely tell a difference once I started using it. My face feels clean and my complexion is more balanced. All I need is just a little bit and it goes a long way!!!! This is a definite must have for those with oily skin.

I thought the product combo would help but the face was made me break out more. I know sometimes it gets worse before it gets better but i can't wait for the better part. My face is the face of my job and it needs to be clear. It had a nice smell though

i have been using this face wash for years and it has really helped me deal with my acne. It helps control my oily skin. The price may seem like a lot, but it last for such a long time and I use it everyday. This stuff is great!

Quick Take: exfoliating
I have tried everything under the sun even dermatologist prescribed face cream. My face has been terrible for about 7 years now I won't even think about going outside without makeup but since I started using these DDF Products my face is amazingly clear and even the red spots are fading. I have been using it since about June 17 and my face has been amazing since about 2 weeks after I started using these. I did the microdermabrasion twice a week at first and the acre scrub every night and the acre foam every morning (always using the brush that comes with the microdermabrasion kit) then I see the face mask 2-3 times a week and the benzoyl peroxide gel at night and in the morning...till my face cleared....now I do the microdermabrasion once or every other week, the acne scrub every night, the get in the morning and at night and the mask once or every other week. and in the morning I now only used a regular face wash-my preference is the basic (that is the brand) Bar of soap and my face is still clear!!!! I am in love with this product and recommend it to anyone who has problems with their skin even if they have tried everything under the sun!!!. but if you have any doubts just try it...give it a week or 2 and you will see the difference!
