One of my new favorites

This brush is great for lining the eye thickly if you want a smudgy dark line around the eye. I find it most useful for the crease, though, and then blending upward into the brow bone. It's got a nice stiff texture with gentle bristles, though, so it's easy to maneuver and gentle on your lids. I would also recommend it for those with Asian or smaller eyes because we have smaller lid surface area to work with.

I am a very big advocate for using brushes when applying makeup. I am not incredibly impressed with this one but it does work for creating a smoky eye. For a budget brush, I give it an A -

Quick Take: worth the money, applies product smoothly, lightweight, easy to handle
I was skeptical, but bought this brush because it was on sale and I love the colors (silver/gray combo). I didn't really think I needed this "smokey eye brush" because I use other brushes to do that (i.e. small eye-shadow brush or domed crease brush) which works fine for me when I want a thicker, smudged line under my eye. However, this brush makes the process easier and faster. It also gives a nice controlled line that is not too thick or too thin. You can go over the line a few times if you want it to be thicker or more smudged. The brush is VERY soft and does not irritate my eye area, which I can't say for my other brushes. I really, really like this brush and if you can get it on sale, then stop reading this review and order it now! If you can't, they have a similar brush in the new pro line and I think it's worth it if you wear smokey eyes on the regular. In the cooler months, a smokey eye is my go-to since I don't have to worry about sweating my makeup off :)

Great all purpose shadow application

I use this brush to apply shadow on the upper and the lower eye lids as well as creasing and blending.
No need for 100 different brushes. This one does them all.
