HELPS MY HUSBAND ELIMINATE 4 O'CLOCK SHADOW- 01.14.10

My husband, at my urging, has been experimenting with shaving creams, because he gets awful four o'clock shadow. (It actually sometimes shows up earlier, but by four he often looks as if he neglected to shave that day). From my perspective, it's kind of good looking, but as a professional, looking like you just woke up after a night out (when you actually went to bed at 11 the night before) is not the look you want to cultivate. (He doesn't do well with a beard, so that's not an option either). This has been a huge problem, as he doesn't have time to reshave again during the day.
A few weeks ago he tried a new product, and now he's trying Jack Black. Jack Black allows him to get a very close shave, more closer than he's gotten with other products. The closer the shave he can get in the morning, the less there will be in the afternoon. We've noticed quick an improvement over the past few days. (It's not the razor, if you might be thinking that, nor the technique. He's tried all brands, plus had a professional barbershop shave). Wish he had that much hair on his head...
We highly recommend this shaving lather. He says the razor glides over his face without pulling. I can kiss him without getting stabbed by prickly hair when he comes home from work. And everyone thinks he looks much better late afternoon... This is worth a try for anyone with heavy growth. And it will make shaving a pleasure for those with average growth.

i personally haven't noticed a huge difference in my boyfriend's face after shaving except that it seems like he does get a closer shave. he likes the product for that reason, but it doesn't seem to add much more hydration or prevents acne. i want to give it some more time and combine it with the beard lube to see if the combination will make a huge difference.

Bought this for my fiance after he used up his Art of Shaving kit because it was a way cheaper (and much more product for the price!) and had much better reviews (on Sephora and other sites I follow) Love it. It smells...fresh and clean. Like soap but not soapy if that helps. I googled all over trying to see if someone mentioned the smell in a review and found nothing so there it is: clean. Definitely not a strong in your face scent. I haven't used it but boy does it give him a close shave. And the shave oil is in it so you save time skipping a step (he liked that part) TOTALLY recommend.

So I bought this when my wife asked me to buy some things for her. I have very sensitive skin and have tried many different shaving products, some much more expensive than this one. I have never had a product extend the life of those expensive blades like this one. I shave everyday and my fusion blades are last about 3 weeks as compared to 1 so that alone is worth it. The shave is very comfortable and close. No nicks since using this product I use it with a brush. I hope this helps someone that is on the fence about whether this product is worth it or not because it is.

My husband never shaves with anything but soap and hot water or shaving cream. He never likes for me to buy him any types of products such as this....I bought him this shave lather and the brush for Christmas. He started using it and really likes it. So much, that I just used my Bday gift card for Sephora for his 2nd jar. He shaves about 3 x per week, so it lasted him about 3-4 months.
