Quick Take: soft, glides on easily, brightly pigmented
These are very pigmented colors, so they go on and stand out. I found most of the colors too dark for me, but settled on two softer shades. You can pair with gloss or lipstick as well. I did not find this to be exceptionally long-wearing, however.

Quick Take: long wearing, soft, glides on easily
I bought it in Red 8C which ended up being too berry for me so i took it back to the store and sweet as they can be Sephora let me exchange it with Nude Beige 1C. Guess I wasn't ready for a bold lip after all. I end up using this liner as an all over base color (with extra staying power) under several different shades of lipstick or gloss depending on my mood or outfit. I should have bought two!

I love Make Up For Ever! This really is a long lasting lipliner. As long as you're not constantly licking / wiping your lips the color will last for hours. I spent years buying less expensive pencils only to find I was spending just as much purchasing multiples as I am just investing in one Make Up For Ever pencil. The color selection is great and the pigmentation is amazing. Highly recommend!

Quick Take: long wearing, soft, glides on easily
This product made me a fan of lip liners again! It goes on very smooth and stays on ALL day! I put it on in the morning and it stays on until that night. I have this in 2C and 15C- absolutely love both colors! 2C comes off a little more coral than rosy nude on my lips, but I still love it! 15C is great all-around soft pink. I can't wait to try other colors too!

This is the best lipliner I have ever purchased. Stayed on all day; through lunch, drinks before dinner and even lasted until I wiped it off before retiring to bed. Felt creamy, didn't pill up like some I have tried.

Neutrals can wash you out- this natural shade offers polish and a cheerful color without looking like you're wearing lipstick. If you don't apply anything over it, it lasts all day. If wearing a gloss over you still get a solid 6 hrs.

I liked the color and ease of application, but I can't say this lip liner lasts any longer than any of my regular less expensive ones. Have to reapply every hour or 2 even if I don't eat or drink anything. Not waterproof or even water resistant. Would not repurchase.

This liner really does stay on for hours. It helps keep the lipstick on and even when the lipstick fades, the liner still hangs on.
I bought this product in a bright pink (16C), a color I don't normally wear, but was picked for me by a Sephora salesperson. Wow, this color is sooooo good on me. Strangers have told me I look beautiful, my eyes really standing out.
I will buy this liner again, and in other colors.

I have a friend at work who raves about this brand. Finally decided to try something. I am glad I started with the lip liner. It is very smooth and doesn't "pull" when you put it on. It is long wearing, I work about 12-15 hours a day and it does stay most of the day - about 9-10 hours. This is after eating and numerous cups of coffee throughout the day. I will be purchasing more in different shades.

Super Long Lasting!

I fell in love with the 10C color which is a dark plum color. I have a medium complexion and dark hair. This color really stood out and looks great on. I loved that it claims to be waterproof, and it really is! I wore this along with the Make-up Forever natural lipstick in a plum color as well. The two together kept my lips moisturized. After 6 hours of eating, drinking, and kissing my liner was on all night! Maybe the lipstick faded a little but the lipliner didnt! I filled in my lips with the liner in case the lipstick faded, which was a great idea. I cannot wait to purchase more colors for a more natural look.

Gorgeous and simple

I love this liner. I was introduced to it by a makeup artist, and went out and bought it the next day. 14C is a nice dark neutral. I've been using it as lipstick. You can do a really light covering, then a coat of Chapstick and TaDa! It's lipstick. Great product.
