Quick Take: fantastic
I have tried almost every over the counter lightening product you can find, but when I purchased this product I stopped looking. It works. It DOES NOT work overnight! There is absolutely no quick fix product out there for dark spots, oh wait there is, it's called concealer. I have had dark spots for over 3 years and by the end of this bottle they were almost completely gone, but then I couldn't find any more so I had to start using something else. I am putting this product in my shopping cart right now. If you are patient and use this product twice a day WITH SUNSCREEN ( I use an SPF 70 on my face everyday ) you will see results. It took quite a few months for the bottle to be finished but I was more than pleased with the results by the time the bottle was finished. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

I am using both the AM and PM serums and they have helped smooth, brighten and improve the texture of my skin. I am so impressed by the results. The product absorbs into the skin and feels weightless. It leaves skin nice and soft. I do not like other products that I have tried that leave a filmy residue. Highly recommend giving this product a try. I agree with the other reviewer that I can feel my skin improving and tightening up as I apply the product.

I purchased for skin discoloration. I tried for 3+ weeks but I just did not get the result I was looking for. The product developed a smell after a few weeks which was not pleasant. My skin looks smooth but just saw no lightning of the acne spots. I think it requires more time than I expect at this cost. I returned because I did not get the effect I desired.

Used each evening for over 2 weeks but my dark spots have not noticeably diminished. I purchased the entire system and my dark spots are no lighter. I followed directions using this product every evening following the I'm sure it will work over time but I'm looking for fast result and I'll give it another week.

Defective Packaging

Love the product but the packaging needs a makeover. Received my 2nd bottle from Sephora a week ago and after 50 initial pumps, nothing has come out. The closest store to me does not carry it, so I need to ship it back. I think I'll return it to the store and see if there is another comparable product because I really dislike the pump

Quick Take: moisturizing, brightening, calming
I'm using a sample and not sure yet if I want to part with my $90 for this product :/
First impression is that it's very oily for my combo skin so I only use it at night although the bottle says to use AM/PM.
Secondly, I find I like it best after using my Boscia black mask and major exfoliation as that process really dries my skin and this serum really smoothes in well afterwards and returns the moisture and vitality to my skin and it really drinks this up.
So I like using this only at night which will make the product last longer so I may spring for it one day as my skin practically glows at night and feels so good with this serum.

Quick Take: tightening, preventative, dimishes fine lines
After a recent consultation with my dermatologist I became aware of the importance of putting Vitamin C back into my skin. I have tried various products, including skinceuticals and Kate Somerville. I prefer this formula OVER AND ABOVE everything else I have tried. I can actually feel my skin firming as I am rubbing it in. I use it after the alpha beta peel and between the two my skin has improved ten-fold in the last 2 weeks. My pores are shrinking, my age spots lightening and acne scars disappearing. Seriously. My skin is smoother by the day. I realize this serum is uber-pricey; however absolutely worth it!!!

Best night serum I have ever tried. It actually does what it says it will. My sun spots have significantly been improved and it has a wonderful tightening firming quality on the skin. So I've also seen some improvement with the size of my pores.

I love everything about this -- except the price! Texture is silky. Love that it's unfragranced. My face looks a little brighter and more even-toned in the morning. I use Hydra-Pure after toner and an alphy hydroxy lotion. Since it's so pricey, I only use it a few nights a week. I will re-purchase when I run out.

I enjoy writing reviews, especially of products I believe in. I rely on other people's reviews before making purchases so writing this is important to me, because I had to wait to make sure it worked on me.
I had a terrible bout of hormonal acne recently. It was such a bad experience especially because I never even got acne in my teenage years, certainly not now when I'm this old- just turned 32 a week ago!! I took out my birth-control and the acne stopped, but i also got so many kinds of spots all from deep cystic acne, white heads, and blackheads!! My face was like a leopard's behind!! Anyway, I decided to give this a shot after trying 2 other vitamin c serums from philosophy and Marie Badescue- neither worked! So I thought Dr. Gross' vitamin c wouldn't hurt either, and boy was I right!! My acne scars are all gone now, and you would not even believe that I ever had any acne. I did use other products along with this, and I can only say the pigmentation plague on my face is gone and my skin is clear again. So far, I have only used this product for 2 months along with the Dr. Dennis Gross' alpha beta peel and some of dr. Perricone's products. Out of everything i bought for my face, this was the only one I bought to target my pigmentation and scarring problems and it has worked well for me. I am very happy with my purchase and I have happily bought another one just to make sure I never run out. Sorry for the long review but it really is good, and feels so smooth once you put it on.

Quick Take: oil controlling, brightening, reduces redness and blotchiness, great product for combination skin
I got this as a sample and tried it out on my neck first because I have very oily skin and rarely put anything on my face that is not oil free. The next morning, the big wrinkle in the middle of my neck (you know, the one everyone has from looking down while reading) was notably smoothed out and my skin felt extremely soft and smooth. So I took a leap of faith and applied it to my face. I don't know what it is in this product that helps with oil control, but I have never found another product that worked so well. My summer acne has actually improved after using this because of the drastic oil reduction on my face. This is worth the money saved on constant reapplications of face powder throughout the day, blotting sheets, foundation and acne treatment. Really, I can get by with applying powder once, no foundation, and a little concealer. It also manages to control oiliness and acne in my T-zone without drying out the rest of my face. I'm truly amazed. The only drawback is that if you do have acne, it stings a little when applied to broken skin.

This is one of the best Vitamin C products on the market because of the delivery into the skin. Also, from what I have read, Vit C is broken down by the sun and therefore should be used at night. as this product instructs.

I had gotten a sample of this and loved the way my skin looked in the morning. I don't know if when I bought this it was old or what , but I didn't see any power in it. I would add Philosophy's Booster Powder to make it workable. It does give you a matte like finish. I wouldn't go back to buy it.

Quick Take: oil control
This stuff is fantastic!! It is the first product I have ever found to actually help with my oily skin! It is definitely thick as a serum, but goes on like satin and covers well. And I find that I can go a little longer in the day and use a few less oil sheets with it as well. The price is steep, for for those benefits, it's worth it to me...! :)

I love this stuff. It makes my face less oily and overall so much better. However, I had it less than a month and it ran out. I had to take it apart to get the rest out because the pump quit working.

All I can say is WOW!..I had a sample size of this product, which lasted for about four applications. In those four uses, my skin is clearer and smoother with a MUCH more even tone. This product does everything! If you have dry skin, you may need an additional moisturizer, but for me it was an all-in-one. I am already saving up to buy a full-size!
