Quick Take: matte finish, natural looking
I have light skin and shade 2 work well for everyday wear. I generally use it to contour and define but it will also work well as an overall bronzing powder. Buildable coverage with a matte finish

Favorite Bronzer!

I have been using this bronzer for years and I absolutely love it. Every once in a while I will try something new but I always come back to Shade 2. It gives me natural color and lasts all day. As a bonus this stuff lasts forever.

I really prefer this new formula

It seemed like the old one I had to swipe my kabuki brush across a thousand times to get any color on it -- which was okay, the more compressed version lasted me a couple *years*. The new looser one I can tell won't last as long because of the loose dust that you have to blow off post-use, but just a couple swipes of the brush picks up enough pigment to do my whole face.

I was looking for a bronzer that wasn't shimmery, this is it! It blends well and looks like I just got back from vacation. Having lighter skin and blonde hair I was really looking for something that looked more natural rather than the typical glittery mess. This was the right choice. I just wish there were more shades. A darker shade would almost make me as dark skinned as my mother and grandfather.

I love this stuff! Its matte, very pigmented and is easily build-able using a light hand. I have light to medium skin (NC30-35) and this looks great on my skin tone without making me look dirty if you know what I mean.

Perfect bronzer for pale skin!

Being a girl with porcelain-white skin, I often find it very hard to find a bronzer that's not too dark for my skin. When I do find a bronzer that's lighter, it often has a very orange-y undertone.
Not this one! my Stila Sun Bronzing Powder in Shade #1 is spectacular! I recommend this to every pale girl out there! It's absolutely gorgeous in the summer time for those who have a hard time getting tan, but it's still usable for the wintertime, so you don't look like you could be Frosty the Snowman's twin!
I'm not a fan of shimmery or glittery bronzers, so I was very pleased to find that this one is matte (though, because it is the perfect color for me and I love the formula, I would probably still use it if it had shimmer!).
Stila really hit it off with this one!

This is the best bronzer ever. I am currently on my second one and though I am one that loves to experiment with makeup products I do not plan on ever using any other bronzer. It goes on natural looking and lasts FOREVER.

I have a couple of other bronzers that I have been enjoying the past couple of years. However, I felt like I needed a change. So after much wondering and testing at my local Sephora isles, I settled on this bronzer. Initially I fell in love with the swatch on my hand. Although the color seemed like it was too dark for my skin tone (I am a fair Asian that gets tanned easily) with a stippling brush it went on beautifully. It does not have any shimmer so it doesn't accentuate your pores. Overall I am extremely happy with this product and it seems like it will take me forever to use.

This bronzer is very pigmented and has good coverage, Personally I found it to be a bit on the orange side and not a very natural hue compared to others I have used. One plus is it matte which is nice to those of us who don't like the disco glitter look.

Love this product, it is not too dark. If you are a light olive complexion this is good for your skin type, especially if you have not been out in the sun and want that little bit of color to give you the look as if you were outside & not :fake bake". Even after you tan, it evens everything out & also great when you loose the color on your face & want to get that glow back.

NC25-30, this is the only bronzer I will even touch. The only one that doesn't make me look like I have mud on my face, and I just lucked into finding it a few years ago as it was on sale in store for with highlighter $10. Glad to see if is still here. Highly recommend, expecially if you have been disappointed with other bronzers. I don't know if it is the color or texture, but it is special.

I bought the shade 2. It's not too dark or too light. The only think is that it has no shimmer to it which I kind of wanted a little of. It's great for contouring though.

I really like this bronzer! IT goes perfect with my skin tone and it looks natural. I like the packaging and all the only thing is you can prob find something similar but a cheaper one. Well I havent yet and Ive been using this product for 2 years now!

I have been a fan of this product for 7 years! Its not too expensive but works just as well as all the other expensive brands out there.
I love how the colors show in one apply. A lot of brands out there needs to be applied multiple times before you actually see a color. Natural looking.

Just wanna say that i LOVE this product.. Been using it for 5 years.. Usually wear this as blush and it gives me a perfect peachy shade. Tried the similar product from several brands, but i still heart only this one... And one thing, i even dab this product on top of my pale/nude lipstick and i got a super cute lip color! oh my oh my! ^^
