Good, but not quite perfect- 11.09.09
Nice coverage, nice moisturizer, good staying power, but is a bit greasy. That's taken care of with a good set with a powder...but that defeats some of the purpose I want with a tinted moisturizer rather than a liquid foundation. I want a tinted moisturizer *instead* of makeup.

Great on my face!- 11.05.09

This product is really great on my face and affordable! I was looking for a cream to put when I go to the gym. It is not heavy or oily at all. Don't use a lot otherwise it will give u an oily looking face. Just a little bit, it gives my face a glowing and perfect look. I like this moisturizer better than my foundation. It smells good and has SPF 18!!! I would recommend it!
The Balm tinted moisturizer is one of the best I have ever used. It's sheer, long lasting and with SPF 18, protects my skin from unwanted rays.
After many years of searching, I have finally found a rpoduct that I would recommend to everyone. The Balm is truly da bomb!

As long as you get the right shade to match your skin, this product is light, not greasy, doesn't smudge on tissues, clothes, and best of all, does not clog pores! Covers red, and broken blood vessels
Using Balm Shelter has made me feel more confident about myself. The fact that it's used as coverage, a moisturizer and protects your skin (SPF18) is amazing to me. I have applied it on some of my friends and family and now they are out buying it.... I love it, thanks Sephora!

Just great when you don't want full face of makeup- 09.07.09
This tinted moisturizer is so awesome! I have fair skin and use the light color and it works perfectly. Even though there is very little color selection, the colors work well and are universal w/ skintones. I was a little worried since I am usually the lightest or second to lightest shades in most foundation categories. I iike to use this when I don't feel like putting on a full face of makeup. It gives a nice amount of coverage and your skin looks so healthy and natural looking. I also like that you get a nice size amount for the price, other brands charge a lot higher and give you a much less amount. I just love the TheBalm, they have such great and high quality products! Definitely get this if you are looking for a great tinted moisturizer that will leave your skin looking healthy, glowing and very natural (while you are still getting a nice coverage). :)
I actually use this in lieu of foundation, because I don't like really thick foundation, but want some coverage to even out my skin tone. This does the trick perfectly! Also, I have sensitive skin which breaks out VERY easily, and I have never had any issues with this. Also, the added benefit of SPF 18 keeps me from burning in the Florida sunshine where I live. This is totally worth the price and I recommend it to everyone!

I love this tinted moisterizer - the weight is just right...not to thin yet not to thick and it's not sticky at all. Plus, while there aren't a ton of color options, the ones that are offered have worked for me in both the fall/winter when my skin is on the lighter side & then summer months when I have a solid tan.

i love this brand and i love this foundation. it can go on sheer or you can build it up for more coverage. it gives you a healthy glow. did i mention how much i love it yet? cause i do.
This mostruizing tint is the best I have ever used. Unlike other mostruizing tints with an spf, This one actually covers you like a mini liquid foundation. Using this with the translucent powder from TheBalm is the perfect combination. If I'm running late and can't do my regular makeup I just throw this on, brush some of the powder over it with some blush and I"m good to go!

The color matches perfectly which is great...its always hard to match my skintone bc im half korean so i have yellow ish pink undertones and i have freckles to boot...the coverage is nice: sheer to medium
This is the best. I use it everyday at least once. It stays on even when you sweat (unless you wipe your face a lot)...it blends in perfectly, evening out your skin tone but not hiding natural parts like freckles.
