Quick Take: amazing!
This is my favorite product at the moment! I have tried so many body scrubs and none come close-either they didn't work at all or they bleached everything I wore after I used them. I saw results from this scrub after the first use. I mainly use this on my back, but I do use this on my face right before I use my GlamGlow face mask and they are a great combination!

Quick Take: amazing
I absolutely love this product. It makes my face feel so soft and clean. I have horrible skin and this helps me stay clear of acne and oil. I have been using this product for over a year now and it hasn't let me down.

I have very sensitive oily acne prone skin. I love PTR products! It has the right balance of acids that don't flare up my skin or dry out. Its also great for my "backne" acne on back

Bought this product for my teenager. She really liked the DDF acne scrub but I don't think that they make it anymore. This product was recommended by the sales associate. So far (after three weeks) my daughter seems to like it and she is seeing a difference in her skin - it seems clearer and not much acne breakout.

Quick Take: ineffective
Sorry PTR, but this product didn't work for me. Did nothing to clear my skin. It felt like the product left a residue behind on my skin. Yuck. The PTR 3% glycolic acid wash worked much better for me.

This cleanser leaves my skin feeling very clean but not dry. I like the way it smells and the scrub beads are just enough to exfoliate. I have very oily, acne prone skin and am in my early 30's.

I will start by saying that if you have a stubborn acne problem, this is not your one-stop solution. I have a line of products tougher than this to deal with serious acne.
But, I love this stuff. It's quick and easy to use on the body and will give better results there than on the face. And, it won't bleach the clothes you wear after showering.
I do like using this on my face (I mostly remove makeup with it, because it takes off the makeup and cleans the skin all at once, and I can apply toner right after). After you rub it around a while, when you rinse it off you will feel all the oil it broke down slide off your face. And your skin will look and feel fresh and smooth. And it won't dry out! I've used this mid-day and not applied lotion after.
The big bottle is worth the price. If you use it on multiple body areas it may run out quickly, but otherwise it will last a very long time.

I love these buffing beads! I use it on my back every day or every other day and it has worked better than any other body wash or scrub designed for acne. I was getting breakouts all the time on my back as a result of a change in birth control and this was the only thing that cleared it up! And it's not too gritty, so it doesn't scratch the skin like some harsher scrubs.

really cleared up my body acne

embarassing to admit, but i have dealt with body acne for at least a decade (i'm 28 now, have had this issue since high school), and yet i did not find a product that worked to clear my skin until now. my worst problem area is my chest, which is really aggravating because many times my breakouts would limit the outfits/shirts i could wear. the stuff i've tried in the past either didn't work or gave me skin irritation issues.
in the several weeks i've been using this, my skin has made a huge difference. i still get a pimple here or there but nothing embarassing or unmanageable, and considering how oily my skin gets i consider this to be very successful indeed. and it does all this without overdrying or irritating my skin. i originally got this in the ptr blemish buster kit and while i like all the products in that kit, by far my favorites were this and the beta hydroxy acid wash -- so much so that i've bought full size bottles of both. these two products have really cleared up my skin, both face and body!

Perfect for an oily complexion

I have been ordering from sephora for years and this is the first review I have ever written. I simply love this product. I am fairly young and have extremely oily skin. I use this on my face every morning and it gives my skin a good start in that it helps control sebum production. My skin still gets oily throughout the day, but I have noticed that my skin stays matte MUCH longer after using this gentle scrub. If you have over active oil glands then give this product a try!
