I had added 06 color to my order because I thought I'd stick with it, like it, and not hassle with returning it as it is a neutral color - "neutral beige". Loved it. The main reason why I was looking for something like this is to neutralize my pigmented red lips. The color is just as the color name implies - a true neutral beige - without other hues and undertones like orange, red, pink... It looks brown, but its a very light brown - neutral beige :-) Feels silky. Matte too. No shine, no glossiness, no other glamorous elements, heh. I'm happy with this buy.

Quick Take: ugly color, dried out lips
I got this product in the shade "Matte Neutral Beige." I thought it would be a pretty color, but it just looks muddy on my lips. I put my Korres lip butter on over it, which helped a little, but I definitely wouldn't buy this again or recommend it to a friend. Also, it dried my lips out and I had to keep reapplying my lip butter.

I loved the old Maniac brand of lipsticks. Long lasting, good coverage. The new line is not as good, and the colors are awful. Where are the nudes and tawny roses that made Maniac great? The mats are worth 4 stars, and the shimmers worth 5.

I love the color, but... thank goodness I looked in the mirror mid day- my lips were dry and the color was gone in the middle of my lips so it looked like I had a problem with lip liner

Lasts long,. nice colors. I am not a fan of the taste of the lipstick though. But I can live with it , i mean the taste is not a deal breaker for me. Whats best about it is that it does not dry the lips in spite of being matte. But please oh please dont stop making these.

To be fair, my lips are already pretty dark naturally so that might have been the problem. I put it on and it's actually not that different from the color of my lips. It works well enough as a base coat under lip gloss but i was definitely looking for something that would stand alone. It's too bad because I've had good luck with Sephora lipstick in the past, nice colors and texture. My objection to Sephora lipsticks overall is that they melt in warm temperatures but I like them enough to own several

Quick Take: smudgeproof, long-lasting, a good value
This lipstick is very pigmented and long-lasting. I wore it for 8 hours with no smudges, even after eating and drinking. The color selection is A+.

Is really fantastic lipstick, I own the color 09 and it's just the perfect vampy red purple for the fall. I also own NARS matte velvet lippencil in Damned, its really gritty and not well formulated compaired to my matte 09. By the way, I don't know why this is in the sale section, but I hope they don't discontinue this product, it's really something else. The formula, the longevity, and the texture. Spectacular.
