I have been lemming this one for a while because the effect it creates is kind of a soft smokey look with eyeshadows. With this brush I can dab pigment into the liner and not use a pencil liner at all and just blend with the rest of the shadows in the eye area. I am glad I finally got this. But I took a star off because I feel that the bristles can be softer.

Quick Take: heavy, useful
I really love this tool because it allows for a lot of versatility and styling. The smudge brush provides a very heavy and even coating and is perfect for detailing. I do wish that it provided a straighter line though and make sure not to use too much eye shadow the first time or else your makeup will be really heavy and dark.

no need to go fancier

I had this used on me during my VIB makeover, and then I had to have it to recreate the look myself. No need to pay more for a smudge brush, this guy does the job splendidly. Smooths over the line you made without diffusing the color too much. Just the right amount of smoky is easy to control.

Recently I've really started to educate myself about makeup brushes. This brush is Fantastic!! So easy to work with & so many different uses. I definitely have it on my list to buy another so I have one for home & one for on the go. You don't want to be without "The Smudge Brush"

Quick Take: super control
This brush allows for a lot of control over the application of color when applying along the crease of your eyelid.
I've also starting using this brush to apply my eyeliner as well. I use a dark eye shadow color as my liner, and this brush gives it a nice soft look. It's another staple to my makeup brushes.
