Quick Take: natural hair
I was looking for a good blush brush that wasn't too expensive, however this brush is really awful. it sheds like crazy and doesn't get the job done. I was hoping since I have other sephora collection brushes, it would be of the same quality, but I had to return this one.

avoid this brush!

I had to return this brush because it shed little black hairs all over my face. Also when I washed it (thinking that might somehow help), the sink filled with black ink.

Poor quality sheds continuously

Quick Take: natural hair
I had to return this brush because it shed black hairs all over my face that I would have to wipe off, defeating the purpose of having used the brush to apply powder. Also, I washed it to see if that would help and it bled a dark inky color - don't want that dye on my face!

Quick Take: natural hair
What a great design! Too bad it sheds worse than a dog blowing it's coat. I ended up with little black hairs all over my face. I didn't need a beard thanks though. Thankfully I didn't use this when I wore my contacts or I would have been totally screwed. I'm taking this back to the store and buying a synthetic brush instead.

The brush applies blush well enough but the bristles come off on my face. Requires brushing them off with my hand and messing up the makeup. Pretty irritating. I regret the purchase.

Gets the job done. It sheds (especially during washes) it was the only travel brush option in the store, and $22 is a bit ridiculous but other than that no complaints. Cap stays on and I use it with my face powder every day.

Yes, a little pricey, but I've been using it for 6 months, and it's still holding together great, unlike other brushes for less money that I've tried. Good for for mattifying powder, great to throw in your purse and go. Cap stays put until you want it off. Some slight shedding, but still great.

Blends makeup well but sheds

This brush is very nice in that is is easy to travel and keep clean and also blends makeup well - BUT it sheds. I always have to sweep my face with a tissue or other clean brush to get the small hairs off my face. For the price, it shouldn't shed. I wouldn't buy again.

Purchased the Retractable Brush for my purse. The first time I used it, I had HAIR all over my face from the brush. The black bristols come out so easy and all over your face. Then stay until you pick each one off individually.

Easy to Carry, But Sometimes Loses Hairs

Perfect if you travel a lot, or carry your make-up around during the day in your purse. It's retractable brush in a metal container - really easy to use!
However... the brush will likely lose a good amount of hairs when you first use it, and will gradually lose some more with use. Not a LOT of hairs will be lost, but still some, which is why I give it 4 stars.

I bought this brush because my other (less expensive) one was leaving bristles on my face. Unfortunately this one does it as well. Not as bad as the cheaper version but it's still frustrating. Overall it's soft though and applies product well.
