I like the feel of this on the skin. It doesn't really cover that well. The sponge is underneath the compact - I found this out by mistake after thinking there was no applicator. Also includes a mirror in the bottom half.

this powder is really great for keeping your face matte!! but it also gives a sheer coverage so don't put too much on!!

This powder has to be the best I have tried. I have the Queen Collection Matte powder from cover girl and that one is not as matte like this one. I give this 2 thumb up!!!!!

Quick Take: buildable coverage
So I had taken advantage of the $9.00 sale price back in February. However, when I got it I did a test, because I bought two shades (the D65 fit me best), the next day noticed a few bumps. I wore it out twice, about a month in between the two times, and both times I noticed the next morning bumps and my face was itchy as well!>__< I really wished it hadn't break me out because other than that it blended and matched me well. This was my first non-drugstore foundation purchase, wish there were better results.

Quick Take: well suited for myskin.
I enjoyed using all products purchased, but the eyeliner seems not giving the bold effect I expected, nonetheless, I am very satisfied.

I saw these in-store in the clearance section and decided to grab a few, not realizing I got the wrong shades (too dark for me)!! I've used these exact compacts in the past and they're fine if you've got blemish-free skin as it offers a light coverage to even out skin tones or simply to add a light layer of colour to your face. I wouldn't say it performs any miracles, however, when it comes to the mattifying aspect. I suspect Sephora is changing the packaging and probably the formula as well and that is why they are on clearance. I believe this is the second if not third reincarnation of the original Sephora compact product.

I love this powder foundation! I've tried other brands but this one definately stands out - it covers up without looking cakey. And the best part is that it gives a velvety smooth matte look and keeps skin looking matte hours after application. Highly recommend it!

I hardly ever find powder foundations I like but so far I love this. I use it over Clinque's Even Better liquid foundation with a powder brush and it covers perfectly without looking like I'm wearing a lot of makeup. My skin is really dry but this goes over well without making my face look caked or dry. Long lasting (but truth be told I usually use Urban Decay All Nighter with it). I definitely recommend!

purchased for contouring..but didnt care for it

i bought this for a contouring item for my cheeks. i'm very very pale, so a bronzer just would look dirty. i really wanted this to work, just in the end, i couldnt get the affect i wanted. i still felt like i just had dirt on my face and it was noticeable. i cant review this as a foundation powder bc that was not the use. though i will say it stays on well, it was not easy for me to try and blend it/wipe off when i was working with it for contouring. i did return.

This product is wonderful for oily and combination skin. At $9 it was a steal! It covers really well and doesn't cake up in spots like other mattifying foundation/powder. Highly recommend!

Went into my local Sephora to grab my usual foundation, the Supernatural mineral foundation by Philosophy. I saw this Sephora collection matifying compact on clearance, so I had the clerk color match me. I bought one and tried it for a week and love it. I love my old, but this stuff blends like nothing I've ever used, and it's matte - I don't like the "glittery shine" that mineral foundations tend to have. I went back to the store and although they put out the new version of this, my store had a few of my shade in this old compact, so I bought them and I'm set for the rest of the year! I've hardly made a dent in this compact so I'm excited.
The only thing I don't like about this is the compact itself. The sponge and mirror on on the inside, so I have to keep flipping the inside layer up and down to get from makeup to mirror. I'm pretty sure this is why they redid the compact, but I'll put up for it at the value that I received.

Quick Take: long lasting, wonderful
I love this foundation. It applies so evenly without a lot of effort. I use my sephora professional mineral foundation brush with this. It also lasts a really long time. I would recommend getting shade matched in store with this one though. It's great when you need extra coverage as well. My first compact lasted over a year with everyday use, I ordered more because I love it so much.

I used other, more expensive mineral foundations, but switched to this because of the cost. Great coverage--comes with a 2-sides sponge that gives you options (darker side for heavy coverage, lighter side for lighter coverage!). Compact comes with a mirror and a compartment for the sponge, so its easy to travel with. Works well with a powder brush to set your makeup. Due to the different application methods, I can use this foundation year-round (I like a lighter foundation in the summer). Lots of color options so it's simple to find just the right shade! Lasts all day without caking.
