Excellent Brush!
- 11.09.09
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I purchased this for my b.e. mineral powder foundation and it works great! tried many different brushes out there but I'd have to say this one's the BEST so far. Very soft on your face and hairs don't fall out at all! Perfect to take it on the go & travel.

Was okay until it lasted

Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles, very dense, base came unglued
I purchased this brush based on the many reviews saying that it was the softest kabuki out there. That, along with the fact that it is synthetic hair was a plus. I saw a few reviews peppered here and there talking about the shedding - I didn't have too much of a problem with that. It might have shed 2 hairs. Then there were the reviews that mentioned the glue that holds the retractable unit (brush, silver ring, and pink tube) together comes apart. This actually happened to my brush THREE WEEKS after purchasing it. Luckily, I was able to exchange it for a different brush (Tarte Kabuki); I didn't feel like returning a 2nd brush in case it happened again.
Now that I've mentioned the main reasons for return, here are some pros: + Attractive case + Extremely portable + Soft on the face
And cons: - bristles are too dense (it picks up a lot of powder, but seems to deposit most of it in just one area of the face). I know you should buff certain powders with this brush, but this can make it difficult to blend. - base came unglued
I wanted to love this brush, but if it came apart once, I'm sure a replacement would probably do it again.

Full brush in compact pkg
- 10.30.09
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
This is a full-size brush w/out a huge/long handle, so it's great if you have a small purse. Extra points for being cruelty-free!
Great for applying Laura Geller Balance and Brighten powder.
"Retractable Brush" is somewhat of a misnomer: The brush isn't retractable, rather the sleeve that surrounds it is.

Retractable Perfection

Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles, great coverage, easy to wash
One of my favorite brushes, by far. It's uber-soft, fits pretty much everywhere and provides perfect coverage for mineral makeup. And yes, it definetely resists a regular wash.

Quick Take: soft bristles, cute
I just love this kabuki brush by Too Faced. The brown part of the brush is really, really soft and not prickly one bit, now I know why it is called "teddy bear" hair. It's not really pink, it's more of a shiny, metallic magenta pink. I also love the cherry blossom prints on it. This is the best kabuki brush that I have ever owned, and I think it is way better than the full coverage kabuki brush by Bare Escentuals. The one by B.E. is too small and the bristles were much pricklier than this one. It's also not retractable, making it inconvenient for traveling or on-the-go. I would definitely recommend by this kabuki brush instead of the B.E. one because the B.E. one cost $28 and for $2 more you get better quality and better looking kabuki brush by Too Faced.

Love this brush with "teddy bear hair". It is the softest thing I have ever felt. I'm currently using it for bronzer powder and it does a great job. I will have this brush forever.

It Rocks!
- 10.19.09
Quick Take: the best kabuki brush i've ever owned!
This brush is very soft and has a silky feel on your skin. I get even coverage when I use it with Bare Escentuals. I have not had any hairs come out of it, yet. I highly recommend it and find it to be worth every penny. Enjoy!

Super Soft!
- 10.13.09
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
This brush is so soft and firm at the same time. One can apply product easily and smoothly and of course the pink is what really drew me to the product. I also like the portability of the product...nice way to remain sanitary as well. Well worth the price.

Great brush!
- 10.13.09
Quick Take: soft bristles
This brush is so soft on my skin and works exactly as I hoped. I love that it has its own case so I can throw it in my bag without worrying about it picking up dirt or germs. This is the brush I've been searching for. I was so thrilled with it that I immediately went and bought Too Faced's Flatbuki brush, too.

Nice, but nothing special
- 10.09.09
I read a lot of reviews about this brush before purchasing it and was kind of disappointed when I received it. I was looking for a nice everyday brush and wanted to try the Kabuki style since they seem to be the popular thing. I don't understand what the big deal is. The brush is soft... but so are others. I feel that it doesn't distribute the powder evenly. This might be good for use as only a travel brush for your purse but definitely not worth it for an everyday brush at home.

A must have in every girl's make up kit
- 10.06.09
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles, portable
Too faced's retractable Kabuki Brush is one of the many kabuki brushes I've used but the only one that I love. It comes packaged in a cute little pink case that allows you to take the brush wherever you go while protecting its bristles.
This brush can be used for a number of things including blushes, bronzers and foundations (powdered and liquid). You can get the maximum coverage you need with this brush by just pushing the case up so the bristles are close together.
What I love most about this brush is that it is made out of teddy bear hair and it feels great against the skin. I've had this for over 7 months now and the bristles have never shed nor strayed.

Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
This is just soft enough yet sturdy enough to do a perfect job. Love the retractable feature. Now that I have, don't know what I did without ! Proves that synthetic brush just as good if not BETTER!!
