Favorite brush tool

I've had this Kabuki brush for over two years as my powder brush and I absolutely love it. It's gone through heavy abuse in my purse and it's still in perfect condition. The bristles are nice and full and it puts the perfect amount of powder all over my face.

Great for traveling. Small and stays clean. The only thing was the brush was not as soft as I would time.

Too Faced Kabuki Brush
-04.02.13
As some of the reviewers have said--my kabuki brush came apart after only a couple of uses. I used some good super glue and put it back together. Problem solved. I don't think it is cheaply made, I think their glue is just sub par. Very soft brush. I use it for blush and occasionally bronzer. Have not had a problem with losing bristles. Overall a good brush.

Super Soft and AWESOME that is Retracts!
-03.04.13
Quick Take: soft bristles
I love this super soft brush for powder. I carry it in my bag because it has a top on it that keeps it clean without the bristles getting dirty. Anyway, it is a bit of expensive, but I think it is worth the price because it will last forever. Further you can wash it with soapy warm weather to keep it going on and on!

Fashion AND Function: Worth the Price
-03.02.13
I'm in love with this kabuki brush. It is incredibly soft, yet strong. It feels so gentle on your skin that you'll almost forget how flawlessly it applies color. I use it for bronzer, and my skin comes out evenly toned within a few seconds' application. It doesn't use animal hair or fur for the bristles, and synthetic products are a must for me. How cruel is it to skin an animal for a makeup brush? I can't say enough about the quality of this brush, both inside and out. I've been using it every day for over a year, and not one bristle has come out. Even the super cute pink packaging has barely worn. It's knocked around in my bag (against my phone, keys, other makeup, etc.), and it's held up better than I ever could have imagined. The retractable feature us easy to use. The overall design is flawless as well as fashionable. I dare you to find me a cuter kabuki! Yes, it's expensive, but you're paying for quality, and it LASTS! Don't hesitate to buy. It's an investment well worth it.

Perfect little brush
-02.28.13
This brush is super soft and applies powder and bronzer smoothly and evenly without looking streaky. It's perfect for taking on the go, with a full-size brush head that's nice and compact. The retractable sleeve slides up to protect the brush so you don't damage the bristles putting the cap on.

Soo soffttttt :)
-02.27.13
Quick Take: soft
I've only used one Kabuki Brush before (from Victoria's Secret) and it literally made my face hurt. I was looking online for a different one and I saw that Too Faced had one. I have other TF brushed so I knew how soft the "real teddy bear hair" is, so I decided this would be the perfect choice, and I was right! It's super soft and applies makeup well. I've used this with my Revlon Nearly Naked Powder and my Tarte Micronized Clay Powder. Get it!

So soft

Quick Take: soft bristles
I love this brush for applying the too faced milk chocolate bronzer and my bare minerals blush. It makes the product go on so smoothly. It travels so easily too. Just throw it in a purse or make up bag and go! The density of the bristles allows you to blend bronzer nicely.

Perfect Brush
-01.26.13
Quick Take: soft bristles, cute design, good for travel
I use this brush with Laura Mercier mineral powder and with Tarte Smooth Operator and it works great. The powder goes on very evenly and the bristles are super soft. The design is really cute too and it's nice that it's retractable/portable too. It's great to keep in your purse for touch ups.

Best brush out there. This is a replacement to a brush I got in 2013. Only needed to replace because I lost the cap. Highly recommend.

Softest brush
-01.14.13
Quick Take: soft bristles
I had initially bought this brush to keep in my purse for touch ups. But it's so soft and works so great with my mineral & powder foundation, I use it as my main brush. It even works great for blush.

Nice brush but it is not retractable
-01.09.13
Quick Take: soft bristles
The bristles are very soft and it spreads my mineral makeup nicely. But it does not retract. It has a cover. That does not make it retractable.

Makeup Essential
-01.06.13
Quick Take: soft, best buy
This brush is perfect. Fits everywhere for easy touchups. The brush is so soft and the bristles don't fall out when you wash it. It also deposits the setting powder without ruining the rest of my makeup.
