The formula helps to facilitate foundation, blending, coverage and wear.What else you need to know:Skinprep FX will reduce skin inflammation and is tolerated by the most sensitive skin. It is oil-free, fragrance free, and will not clog pores. All CoverFx products are gluten-free.Research results:-In general, clinical studies show an excellent anti-wrinkle efficacy after two months of twice daily application. A very significant decrease in depth (-44 ) and quantity of wrinkles was observed, giving rise to smoother skin (-14 roughness) and skin firmness (-16 ) which all reflected in an improvement in skintone (+15 ). 3 Matrixyl 3000, randomized application twice daily, 25 panelists, two months.

Quick Take: silky, yellow tint, not greasy
I was looking for the oil absorbing acne medicated variety, but the sales associate handed me this one. I tried it, and it is slightly illuminating, but gave no oil control, which is what I was looking for. I also did not notice a change in my pore size.

I received a sample of a different primer from Sephora and liked the difference it made when I applied my foundation, but that particular one seemed to dry in some of my wrinkles. I returned to Sephora to inquire about a primer with more moisture, and this one was highly recommended. I have been very pleased with this purchase. It goes on like silk, has some anti-aging nutrients that are beneficial to my skin, and my foundation is easily applied over it. I have found that I also use less foundation over the primer, which is another plus. I wish it covered my pores a bit better, though, and for that reason, I am giving it 4, not 5, stars.

Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight, fast-absorbing, makes your skin feel soft & smooth, no problems at all.
I have never felt anything so smooth and does extremely well for deep wrinkles. (Lost Weight) I have lots of wrinkles on my necka dn I use it there as well as my forhead and chin, a little goes a long way. I never go out without it on my face first. Thanks for a great product, and I am grateful my friend told me about this skin prep.

A Primer that makes your skin feel good!

I LOVE this primer. I am over 50 and live in the desert southwest. The nourishing foundation primer makes my skin feel very smooth and soft. No greasy texture or oily look. I wish I had started the anti-aging products years ago, but still feel that this primer will help further aging issues. My make-up looks smooth and my (combination) skin feels great!

Lightweight, non greasy. Doesn't break out my skin, and it feels like silk. I work in a surgical hospital and am constantly taking face masks on and off all day - this keeps my makeup on all day with no touch ups! Love it! Cover FX Brite Primer will be my next purchase to try it also. Love this brand!

Every time I order something from sephora and qualify for free samples I always try different skin preps. I simply can't find one that is as perfect as this one. It feels wonderfully smooth and I won't use anything else!

Had my make up done at Sephora a few weeks ago. I told the lady I had oily skin but she still used this... My goodness did I break out! I have now have bruises looking spots on my face from the big pimples I got! If you have oily skin or prone to break out do sample this before buying it!

I got a sample of this and loved it because it minimizes my large pores. Great all around primer. I use on my eye lids, too for long wear on the shadows.

great for normal or dry skin.this is not a primer for oily skin. it is a very good product though. allows your makeup to look smooth. you can wear it alone bc its acts as afacial serum as well. some also wear it in the evening as a nightime serum bc its made with olives.

I've switched to FX from Laura Mercier's Radiance. That one enlarged my pores significantly, made my face even more oily than it was, and it was all shine, shine, shine. I've been using FX for 2 weeks now and I can say: "Bye, bye pores, oil & shine!" I am definitely happy that I've tried out this product, because it's hard to find a primer for my sensitive, oily combination skin type. A bonus of this primer: the anti-aging benefits, plus it is extremely mattifying - an excellent base for foundation.
