I liked this prep cream because it makes my skin feel dewy and contributes to a glow even after applying my foundation (sparingly). i like the look of healthy natural glowing skin as well as ease of application of my foundaton. This delivered on both counts.

i have normal (not oilynor dry) and use this primer as a moisturizer and as a primer before my foundation- I absolutely LOVE it! I must say, In the natural light-my skin looks healthy!!! Ive tried other primers such as Stila and I am so glad i found this one !!!

Greasy texture, only for dry skin types- 11.17.09
Quick Take: greasy
Perhaps if my skin was dryer it would like this, seemed promising with the ingredients listed. Unfortunately as a few others have mentioned, it has a very heavy greasy texture and felt unpleasant on the skin, plus accentuated the areas in my face that are slightly oily. no thanks! Rated it 2 stars because I can see where this might work for dry skin types well.

Quick Take: oily, adverse reaction with foundation
got a sample with my order... this somehow reacted with my Shiseido foundation in that my foundation started coagulating on my face. It was not smooth, it turned into a lumpy, greasy, oily mess... I had to wash my face & start over. Worst primer I've ever tried/used

I'm returning this since it doesn't have sunscreen in it and when I wore this over my sunscreen it didn't absorb very evenly nor act like a primer.

For Normal skin- this is the BEST!- 10.15.09

I tested this one and Photo Finish Foundation Primer by Smashbox. I have normal skin- not too oily not too dry. I didn't notice any difference with Smashbox except Smashbox smelled weird! The minute I put this primer on, I could feel the difference! Smooth, clean and after a few seconds, couldn't even feel it. Put my make up on and it stayed on perfectly! (A little goes a long way and for those with normal skin, I don't suggest you moisturize your face PRIOR to putting it on.)

I have all sorts of issues with my skin - sensitive, dry, blotchy and acne-prone, this serum is the first product I've ever used that leaves my skin absolutely glowing!!! It actually seems to help my acne.

THE BEST PRIMER EVER- 10.02.09

The minute you smooth it on you feel the difference in your skin. Great as the primer it is, keeps foundation in place but also great as moisturizer alone. Need a little but get so much.

I found something that works for my chest and neck- 09.29.09
Quick Take: evens out skintone
Since using this product, my neck and chest has less skin imperfections and fewer wrinkles. I don't, however, like to use it on my face. It is too heavy and oily for me.

This is a good primer for combo/dry skin. It hydrates well and also prevents those mid-day oilies on the t-zone. It would have been HG but i started breaking out (it could have been hormonal though) and i didn't like the texture of it. When you first apply it, it feels oily but that goes away in few minutes- makes your skin feel smooth like butter

I think this is a great product. Although it does not claim to help with acne or breakouts I believe it has helped my skin even out quite a bit. My only complaint is that towards the end of the day this product does not really do much to prevent shine. The product it a bit expensive but it lasts a very long time I used my every day for 5 months, so a little goes a long ways.
