worth the splurge - 02.10.09

I was a bit skittish in buying this, the price is a little steep for me. However, the colors were just too pretty to pass on, so I finally caved in.

The colors compliment each other wonderfully, and the plums really bring out my green eyes.
The texture is so soft and smooth.. no gritty glitter or chalkiness. I started with a good primer then layered the shadows with ease.

They work well wet, too. Try adding a transformer liquid or even water for a more dramatic effect.
I'm loving this palette right now.

Nice Colour Combo for Plums - 01.23.09

Colours go on with a medium intensity-This one will flatter both light and medium skin tones.

I'm not going to lie, this is my first Dior splurge and I'm glad I bought it! The colors are beautiful and highly pigmented and how up wonderfully on your eyes. The 5 eyeshadows can all be worn alone or blended together for the perfect look. Long-wearing, highly pigmented, easy to apply, blendable. By far one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes out there. Not to mention the case in presentation of the whole thing is just delectable. Definitely try it out.

Another great Dior palette!!! - 12.21.08

I love Dior's 5-Color Eyeshadow palettes...as a matter of fact I own them all. The colors in this "Pink Idol" palette are very vibrant and coordinate together perfectly. At $54, this palette seems very expensive, but honestly the shadow is so highly pigmented that it only takes a little to get major color, therefore the palette lasts a very long time. This is a truly fabulous palette and it's in a very pretty case, too.

These colors are all you really need for a fabulous day to night look. I use the the light ones on my lid during the day and the darker colors are great to intensify your look for a night out. They are really high quality and really stay put even without primer. Also, the pigments are so finely milled that they blend really well-- great for makeup virgins and experts!
