this is by far the best finish on dry skin that becomes oily throughout the day. even if you build it up, you will still have the nicest smooth finish and doesn't break me out. i have a light to medium skin with yellow tone but i need to get 2 shades lighter since ALL powder oxidizes on me. I got the lightest shade but it still turns darker than my skin tone after a few hours. this could have been the BEST for me since it has the nicest smooth finish without breaking my reactive skin out. but i need a lighter shade than 1.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free, natural finish, amazing, cruelty-free, cool case!
I love how natural this powder looks. I've had a really hard time finding a good match for my skin-tone, but the no. 4 shade is perfect (I'm South Asian, so my colour errs on the darker side of "medium") - nothing else has compared to this so far, so I'm sticking with it!
The fact that it's so finely-milled really helps it blend in well, and it's fantastic for light to medium coverage. A little dusting of this with some moisturizer and eyeliner is all I need for my daily routine.
I'm a proud vegetarian and supporter of animal rights, and I was thrilled to discover that hourglass is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. It IS pricey, but the first compact I bought lasted me ages. I'd rather pay more for a good quality product once in a while than have to replace cheaper compacts every so often because they fall apart or irritate my skin... that's just me though!

It goes on smooth and blends well, with an application of a primer/elixir underneath. Not sure if I like the rotating mirror because I'm afraid it will come off. Otherwise the product is great for dry skin.

The product itself goes on smoothly and has a nice, light feel. However, the compact opens too easily. It is held together magnetically and could probably use some stronger magnets to hold the cover in place a bit better.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I switched over to this recently and I have found that this is the perfect powder! The color is perfect, it's long wearing, and it looks natural. I use it with Hourglass's tinted moisturizer OR Dior's foundation and I get a flawless look. I also use a mineral powder brush rather than the sponge.

This foundation didn't work on my skin. It left an oily residue that sat on top of my skin and accentuated all the flaws on my face. I LOVE their mineral primer, but I had to return the foundation.

I love this powder. Finely-milled, beautiful. Provides some coverage and blends wonderfully. Beautiful and useful packaging. I require touch ups every four-five hours or so, but no big deal; I have an incredibly oily forehead.
I love that this company is paraben, gluten and animal cruelty free. I am willing to pay a little bit more for this, but never at the expsense of quality. Luckily I don't have to make that choice :)

I went into Sephora to get a new powder. I've been using Bare MInerals for a while now but was looking for something a bit lighter. This power is amazing! It provides light coverage but lasts all day, and I have very oily skin. I use it over the top of my Immaculate Foundation (also by Hourglass) and it is perfect.

It leaves a nice finish but way too expensive for what is worth. The case is very weak and there for the powder breaks very easily if you carry it around your bag. It is a delicate product to have in your make up case at home.

Quick Take: amazing, good for your skin, light weight, natural finish
This is one of those products I could not live without! I have very oily skin and a lot of powders just lay there and look fake and thick on my face. Hourglass is very light and gives me a natural finish. I've never gotten so many compliments about my skin until I started using this.
I also started noticing my skin is also getting better. I'm not having as many break outs as I use to and my skin texture is smoother. My skin tone is more even as well.

This mineral powder can be used alone or over Hourglass's Tinted Moisturizer. I break out easily but this powder hasn't given me any problems after using it for a while everyday. I was a little bit skeptic about this because for the money, the palette was kind of small looking. I think the powder is pressed super hard or something because I haven't reached the bottom yet. Also, the powder looks very dry but it's quite the opposite. It lasts all day without making my face all wrinkly or cakey. If the color is right for you and if you don't mind spending, this is yet another great product from Hourglass.

overall I like this powder. It is smooth and has the right amount of coverage without being cackey. It doesn't turn orange when I get oily and lasts pretty well. The compact is cheap though. The top fell off and it doesn't stay shut very well, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

I did not like this product as well. I returned this and the concealer - not flawless or matte......this is not the product for me. I do not think this is a product worth the high price.

When I started using this product, i thought it would only work if I had a tan, as I found the coverage too light. Now that my skin has been nourished back to health, I actually am loving this product and have used several palettes of this Oxygen Foundation Mineral Powder over time.
I workout before work in the morning so I dust my face with this before I hit the gym and after I hit the gym and it helps cover up the oily shine and yet, it looks so natural and flawless you wouldn't be able to tell I am wearing makeup (granted, I also use Bobbi Brown's Foundation Stick to cover up red spots here and there underneath this powder before I hit the gym).
