Last year I had major surgery and lost some of my hair and what ever was left was extremely thin. I started using Tawaka Ancient Tribal Rejuvenating Cleanser - and my hair has become so strong and thick. I love this stuff. Ojon - please never discontinue this amazing hair cleanser. I LOVE IT.

Not worth the cost- 11.02.09
The smell is nice, but nothing I go crazy over. And it's a good, non-sulfated shampoo. But I didn't get anything extraordinary out of this, despite my crazy formerly-oily-now-dry hair, and for that price I expected greatness. Not superbly moisturizing for my hair. Possibly smoothing, but as my hair already tends toward flat and too straight/smooth on its own, I can't judge that as well.

This is a great product. It cleans w/o stripping and leaves hair and skin lightly scented ... kind of like cocoa. I tried the shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer as a sample kit and immediately purchased the giant salon sized bottles.
I love all of Ojon and my son's girlfriend was visiting and she borrowed it. She said it was the best shampoo she had ever used and her hair never felt or looked so good. She is Asian so I don't know if her hair has different challenges but I am German with fine blonde hair and I love it too! I purchased it for her b-day, she was thrilled!

This is a great product with an even better smell. Smell stays on hair for days, so you better like it. Took a few washings for me to get used to lack of suds. Also, I would not use this w/o using the Tawaka conditioner as well, b/c cleanser is a bit drying. The combo of cleanser/conditioner, however, has actually changed the texture of my usually-coarse hair. Worth the money.

You're Hair Deserves this!- 09.28.09

I have been a religous Ojon addict for a few years and switched to the Tawaka line about a year ago to get Sulfates out of my life. My hair was awesome before but now it is even softer and shinier! My color also lasts and does not dull due to the lack of sulfates.
People always commernt on how shiny my hair is and I eat it up! The antioxidants add so much to the health of your hair! I team this up with the Ojon hair treatment once a week! Do your hair the favor and try it!

This makes my hair feel incredibly soft - it has really changed the texture. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the scent. It's not enough for me to stop using it though. It took about a week of use to see any real changes.

i wasn't very impressed by this cleaner. i used the trial size and maybe that wasn't enough to get the full effect of the product. the scent was overpowering and lingered far too long. i was definitely not impressed.

I use this as a body wash & it leaves my skin wonderfully soft and moisturized.... the best of any I've ever used!! Well worth the price!!! I really like the fragrance too.... chocolate & maybe a little coconut or coffee? It doesn't suds up a lot like a soap, almost like a body oil wash, though it's not oily at all. It just leaves your skin so-o-o soft & smooth.

things ive experienced with this shampoo: 1. It does not lather at all, so massaging it into my wet hair is kindda difficult and can feel like im breaking my strands 2. you need to shampoo twice 3. you need to use a purifying or deep cleansing shampoo once a week or so or else your hair will go limp 4. an excellent makeup remover
overall its gentle, all natural and very hydrating, but i probably wouldnt repurchase this. The conditioner on the other hand is amazing and i already have purchased 2 backup bottles!

I have really difficult hair and this product drastically improved my hair. I used to have soft yet very frizzy, dry, "savage" looking hair. After I used this product in combination with the matching conditioner my hair has become a lot softer, I don't have build up on my scalp and it weighs down my hair enough to control the frizziness. On the skin this product didn't make a real difference for me. Overall, the quality of my hair has improved. This product is expensive but after trying a lot of general shampoos, this one has surpassed the rest.
