Quick Take: hydrating, smoothing, clean without residue feeling
Ojon is the dream line for damaged hair! I had a horrid hair dye experience that completely sizzled my hair (I have dark hair & was staying dark...BAD DYE PRODUCT!) I have been using the Ojon line (thanks to my mom!) and it is the only product that doesn't dry my hair out more than it is & the deep conditioning treatment keeps my hair feeling normal (I put a small amount through my hair after my shower & do full day deep conditions a few times a week) - I can run my fingers through it without the dry breakage. I will never go back to other brands, as long as it is Ojon my hair is happy!

I love it!! It doesn't dry out my hair or skin (which I'm prone to), but it doesn't make me oily either. I could live on the 3 Tawaka products alone, totally worth the price!!

Hasn't helped much been over 2 weeks. Kinda dries my hair out and tangles it much. the only reason i got it was cuz its sulfate free

Overpriced in my opinion, however it delivers as promised. It certainly hasn't repaired any damage (because that is impossible for any product to do ), but it is a gentle cleanser that is safe for damaged and color treated hair. Smells nice as well.

this is a perfect winter cleanser for hair & skin.. it doesnt dry out your body and it gets rid of static electricity issues with your hair
the smell is delicious and not too strong
its too bad the salon size isnt available anymore

I have very thick, coarse 3B curly hair. Ojon is great with addressing the needs of curl girls because they use no sulfates or very gentle sulfates. I tried this shampoo after falling in love with their Ultra Hydrating shampo, and it's pretty amazing!
AS A SHAMPOO: Rich, lathers decently, very fragrant (like chocolate and coffee), it volumizes and left my hair feeling healthy and pretty clean. I liked the shine it gave, too. Overall its improved my hair's health so far but I still need a leave-in product to control poofiness. Those with oily hair will probably not be able to pull this of!!
AS A BODY WASH: Amazing!!! Smells so good, and I didn't even need to use a moisturizer afterwards. Lathers a lot if you use a loofa.
AS A FACE WASH: I have extremely sensitive skin, and this gave me a little burning, so I would not necessarily recommend it. But it made my face very soft and removed makeup (even mascara) like a charm.
Overall I'm happy with it, but I'm going to go back to he ultra hydrating after I've finished my tube.

I really love this cleanser and even though it doesn't lather like most shampoos I find I get a nice good clean from it. The scent is very light of course I would use it with the conditioner.
Too bad the Tawaka line is being discontinued due to the fact that the ingredients used for this cleanser and the other products have been severly depleted due to mother nature. I picked up on some of the 1 Litre size bottles of the cleanser and the conditioner from The Shopping Channel here in Canada just so I won't be without for a while.
If you love the Tawaka products I suggest you get your hands on as many products as you can since I know they do have a decent shelf life, just so you won't be without for a while.

I love this line. It is sulfate free, so its friendly for colour-treated hair. It is also gentle for sensitive skin, but is a great cleanser. With fine hair, I can also go a day longer without needing to shampoo my hair.

Last year I had major surgery and lost some of my hair and what ever was left was extremely thin. I started using Tawaka Ancient Tribal Rejuvenating Cleanser - and my hair has become so strong and thick. I love this stuff. Ojon - please never discontinue this amazing hair cleanser. I LOVE IT.
