Great for evening....skip for daily use- 08.22.09
This product is definitely glittery, so glittery that it seems to fall into my eyes. It's ok for a special occasion but a little much for daily use.

I usually really like Sephora Brand eyeshadows. I had the same expectations of this palette.The colors are true but overly sparkly. A little disappointing.

Very nice shades of gold and green but the all have too much sparlke in them. I bought to wear everyday but its not that appropriate, but for a night out, its perfect.

Pretty Colors, but powder falls all over my cheeks- 06.02.09
Quick Take: powdery, messy
I LOVE THE COLORS, but I hate how this shadow falls all over my cheek bones. :( Too bad, because these colors are perfect for work, and really pretty. But gosh, I cannot get over how messy the powder is. At first I would wipe off with tissue, but the glitter stays on my cheeks. Not cute :( Sephora, I love you, but can you improve on your eyeshadow formula? It's not very easy to blend either, due to the powderyness of it :( frown frown

Very nice colors- 05.30.09
Before I lost this palette, I wore the colors to work every day. I especially loved the gold color. I don't wear much makeup and this palette provides the right bit of "pop" for any casual occasion. The colors worked very well with my skintone.

Quick Take: too glittery, glitter falls on your face after applying
I give this product 4 stars because of the quality, and packaging are wonderful. colors are beautiful. and the price exceptional. my only con is that the glitter falls on your face after a while so you end up looking like you were hit by the "glitter fairy". which is not a bad thing mind you...i love glitter but being in my 40's i don't like it on my face anymore. (shows too many imperfections) if you get my drift. otherwise I think if you like bright bold gold-toned colors with glitter (not shimmer) then this would be an excellent choice. I hate returning things so I ended up giving it to my 17 yr old niece and she says she gives it 5 stars! lol.

Quick Take: pretty
The green and bronze shadows are lovely and light. I still have not tried the white and charcoal colors. They are perfect for someone who lives in a sunny area or has a tan. I've worn them to work and have had to touch up the shadow after lunch, but I still recommend it.

These are nice colors and some are very sparkly, but they don't apply very well. Maybe if a heavier brush is used, the application would be better. The shadow stays on well, but the consistency of it is rather thick and crumbly. The glitter flakes off on your face, so if you want to sparkle and shine it's great!

Great eye shadows. I love them for day, because they are just the right amount of shimmer and glimmer ;). Yes, they do leave glitter on your cheeks, but nothing a little wet tissue can't cure.

I have this palette in the plum colors and I love it!! I am a glitter junkie and this palette is great for all you other glitter fanatics.The key to this palette is to put a creamy shadow underneath it to help the glitter stay on your eyes and not all over your face. The best way to do it is get a creamy shadow that is close to your natural skin tone then put shadow on top of it. I recommend patting shadow over creamy one instead of just brushing it on. This will really help with any challenges with the glitter falling every where!!!!

I usually have issues with eye makeup because I am allergic to fragrance. However, this one was great! I had no reaction to the shadow whatsoever. I wore it all day and not only did the color last, it didn't crease. I think this is a fabulous palette and I plan to buy more.

the colors look amazing on asian skin. the shimmers and glitters are just right too, not too much where you look wild and crazy, just enough to look glam. you might need extra care to apply these though, cuz your face will get covered by glitters.

I was skeptical about buying this palette but am so glad I did. The colors have gone with all of my holiday outfits and I can make this work for day or night. the only drawback is the amount of glitter in some of the colors but I've found that when I use them as a base and then layer a non-glitter color over it, it works very well and doesn't look like so glittery, just has a bit of shine.

Quick Take: diverse colors, versatile
These colors are very diverse. They range from neutral to vibrant. The greens and golds are simply gorgeous. If you happen to have green or hazel eyes, these shades will surely bring them out!
The blue-gray shade is very smooth and I've even used it as a liner. The only color that I feel serves no purpose is the white. The glittery colors are also VERY glittery so apply carefully to avoid a mess! Nice palette.

Colors are great! Although the glitter flakes onto other parts of your face, it is easy to brush off. I loved it so much, I bought 2! Great amount of color: not too light/dark. Cute case.
