I would rate this eye shadow just OK...I was surprisingly disappointed with this Shu Uemura product. The shadow itself tends to flake off on to the skin under your eye. It is long lasting though.

Quick Take: blends easily, crease resistant
Pressed shadow in Ir Purple is not as highly pigmented or as bright purple as I had hoped. It is bright and vibrant looking in the pan but it goes on a darker blue purple on me. Doesn't last as long as I had hoped either. I have other colors of Shu eyeshadow that I love more, will continue to buy these shadows because they are so soft and the color selection is amazing. BUt this purple is just not a bright color like I wanted. Blends fabulously though and I can use it nicely in the crease.

Ive have fair/light skin in the winter... i always do a somewhat smokey look on my eyes, and the lightest one is great to use as a base and around the eyes. It helps bring the other colors out. My other white ones I bought from other brands kind of.. dissapear after a few hours, but this one is great.

Worth every bitt. I don't have much to add to the standard accolades. Amazing COLOR and professional grade blendability. love them. I tried one and am hooked. For some reason Sephora doesn't carry a lot of the colors that you can find on the shu website. I tried the lipsticks and I'd say they are above average but their shadows are where Shu really shines above the rest.

Shu uemura's eye shadows are a little bit more than say, Urban Decay for a single eyeshadow, but the quality is amazing. It's very smooth and buttery, easy to apply, and easy to blend. Since I usually use a primer on my lids, this eyeshadow lasts pretty much all day =).
I absolutely adore this brand of eyeshadows, but I have to say that the P brown 830 is not a great color! It is definitely like a terracotta color, and with blue eyes, it was a bit too orange for me.
After I got this in purple, I decided to buy 4-5 more colors as this was the most highly pigmented shadow I've ever seen. It lasts almost all day and even though it's only a small square, the eye shadow is pressed and will last you very long.

This is by far the best eyeshadow I have ever owned. Far surpasses Smashbox, Urban Decay and Bare Escentuals. The color really stays true and does not fade, and I have oily skin. I adore Brown P10 to make my blue eyes even bluer! Look no further for an excellent eyeshadow!
This shadow has serious staying power, especially when used over a primer. The shades go on somewhat sheer, but the coverage is buildable. The pearl shades are not glittery and provide just enough subtle shine.
This is probably the best eyeshadow I have tried. And I have tried a lot. Smashbox is good and so is Bobbi, but I think this is my fave. Sooo soft, the texture is luxurious. Great staying power and blends so easily. Perfect and wonderful. More colors, please!
I love shu uemura's eye shadow! It brushes on smoothly and is wonderfully-highly pigmented that colors are true to its palette. The best thing about these eye shadows is that its sweetly fools proof.
Shu uemura makes highly pigmented shadows that stay on all day. Wonderful colors and I love them. Their shadow color choices are more extensive than those at Sephora. I'm glad that Sephora carries a good deal of their line.

My only complaint is that sephora doesnt carry enough of their shades! Its the most finely milled eyeshadow I've ever used, therefore it blends into your skin like a dream (i've used urban decay, too faced, kat von d, chanel, clinique, dior, etc). This is simply amazing. You get so much pigment with just one little stroke that lasts forever!. People have complained about the price but for 20 dollars you're getting .07 oz that will last forever. Other brands like UD and mac only comes with .05 oz, so shu's eyeshadow is actually not at all more expensive than other brands. Awesome product.
I really like this product- the shadow is high quality and the color is very wearable, can be used for day or night. The case is beautiful and simple and small, fit nicely in a pocket or small bag. The Brown 860 color is great, a sheer wash of grey brown. Lovely.

I would love to see these shadows IRL and try them on. I purchased one of the few that was available and not oos, which is P830. The color is ok, not really for me, but it does go on beautifully! I would definitely get more but there isn't much choice online.
