Quick Take: natural hair, soft bristles

shu uemura kolinsky are the absolute best brushes you can buy and this is no exception. I use this along with the 4r and 12S for my everyday look. The 5r has long, flexible brustles and is very soft and fluffy. It's perfect for a sheer wash of color and for blending, and for use in the inner corners.

Quick Take: soft bristles

The Shu Uemura Kolinsky Brush 5R is fabulous for getting into the corners of the eye to apply eyeshadow and illuminators. It also does a great job of blending eyeliner and shadow around the edges of the eye. This brush fits in all the places hard to reach with other brushes. Great brush!
