expensive but outstanding - 04.16.09

Quick Take: natural hair

I have had my Bobbie Brown brushes for decades. Even though I have read about these brushes for years, thought it was silly to spend the money. Curiousity got the better of me, glad it did. I wear heavily pigmented eyeshadow (Urban Decay, Loreal HIP, MAC) and my other brushes would "splatter" bits of the color around my eye, where it was not wanted. Always had to do a bit of clean up. These brushes hold the color and it only goes where you put the brush. Application is smooth and flawless. Worth all the praise they get. I use this one for the outside corner of the eye, and 8HR for the inside and above. Am trying a liner brush next!

Wonderful brush... - 01.04.09

Quick Take: natural hair, soft bristles

As usual, this is a top quality Shu Uemura brush that's super soft against your eyes. I use this brush for applying shadow and highlighter to the orbital area of my eyes...it fits perfectly. This brush also does a good job of applying shadow to the browbone and I use if for blending, too. This brush doesn't shed and holds up well through cleanings also. Great brush!

Great contour brush - 12.02.08

I love this eye brush for putting in accent shadows. It's perfect for putting shadow in the corner of your eye. Perfect at blending. Pricey, but so soft and really great. I've used alot of different brands of brushes, but Shu Uemura is my favorite now.
