no!no!

nono no!no!

What it is:A revolutionary new concept in hair removal, suitable for all hair types and skin colors. What it does:Achieve hair density reduction at home, with no mess, no cuts, no burns, and no noise. No!no! is based on an exciting new technology called Thermicon™, which uses the scientific principles of thermal transference to conduct a gentle pulse of heat to the hair. It features a unique innovation: a thermodynamic wire to transmit the heat to the hair. This patented wire and built-in safety mechanisms has allowed for the adaptation of professional hair removal technology into a home use product. Please note that no!no! is not recommended for use on the face. Additionally, the thermal heat signal destroys the hair, which is characterized by odor. What else you need to know:With a no!no! treatment there's no pain, you don't have to wait for hair to grow long in order to remove it, and there is no skin irritation like in-grown hairs, red pimples, or rashes to cover up. Remember no!no! is a treatment process for hair reduction and not a miracle cure for unwanted hair. Like any professional hair treatment, it takes time and dedication to achieve your desired results. The same holds true for the revolutionary no!no! hair removal system; with all the right moves, stubble-free, super smooth skin will be yours. Be sure to follow the directions closely for the safest, most effective results. no!no! is not a razor:Using no!no! in conjunction with the buffer will remove the majority of hair, but not all. For smoothest results, especially in the first few weeks of your hair reduction program, use a razor along with no!no! for a clean shave. Use the buffer to remove residue and maximize smoothness, then shower or bathe and follow with body moisturizer.Everything you need to get started with no!no! is here:-3 short blades-2 long blades-a storage bag-small brush to clean the no!no! device-charger-1 buffer Hot Blades and buffers are designed to last approximately three months (2 - 3 hours of treatment time). The actual life of a Hot Blade or buffer, however, depends on several varying factors among them: frequency of use, the area and type of hair being treated, and the stage of treatment you are in.

The No No Hair Removal Product - 11.16.09
I've been using this product for two weeks now and I find that I am not really satisfied with it. It is very time consuming and you have to constantly go over the same area for quite some time before it cuts/burns off the hair. It doesn't even do a clean cut/burn of the area and the instructions say it will take six weeks before you get any true results. It is suppose permanently remove 65-68% of your hair at 2-3 times a week use. I have yet to believe this will occur so I will continue to use it for the next 3 weeks and see what results I do get. I find that the price of $100.00 is really high for this product. I don't believe I would spend this much again on a hair removal product in the future if I don't get the results it claims.

the NO!NO! is a NO!NO! - 11.15.09
Quick Take: worthless

I gave the NO!NO! to my daughter who noticed the package had been open. When she took out the buffer she noticed this also had been used. Sephora needs to check their returns before they put them on the shelf. I bought another NONO from a different store and it was less than worthless. It did not remove the hairs and was expensive for something that doesn't work.

Depends on your expectations - 11.14.09
I went back and forth over this product and here's why: if you are looking for a permanent solution to pesky unwanted hair, then this is not for you. If however, you get a lot of ingrown hairs on your bikini line or elsewhere and cannot afford laser hair removal, then this is your best alternative. As an African American, this is a great solution to removing hair without ingrowns. Do it while you're watching tv. My bikini area would take 15-20 minutes, face area (sparse hairs) takes less than 5 minutes, underarms would be 5 minutes. It's not hard to use and if you've used horrible hair removal products such as IGIA e-pen, etc, you'll really appreciate this product.

waste of time and money - 11.13.09
I bought this when it cost $250. I tried it several times and would have to go over and over spots with little hair removal occurring. I haven't touched it since and now it is a really expensive waste of time taking up space in by bathroom cabinet.

Worked Well - 11.13.09
Very simple to use, worked on fine blond hair on my arms, worked on coarse dark hair on my legs, worked on my husbands back hair and I am hoping the warmth from the unit and exfoliation from the buffer will decrease the acne on his back, double benefit. There was no visible stubble but I could feel stubble, about the same result I get with an electric shaver so no big deal. The smell was not that bad, overall I am very pleased and cant wait to see long term results.

I bought this product for full price when it was recommended to me by one of the employees. The smell is awful, and I saw no results. It was a waste of $250.

no!no! is a no no - 11.09.09
Quick Take: not worth the money

I was really not happy with this product at all. It took a long time to go over a very small area and was just ineffective. Like with all hair reduction, I knew that it would take some time, but after several uses saw no improvement what-so-ever.

Quick Take: not as advertised

Very time consuming. Does not remove the hair, leaves stubble. Does not reduce the growth of hair at all. Do not waste your money on this product like I did!

I tried this out and ended up returning it awhile ago. I'm a natural blonde, and my body hair tends to be very fine and very light--for example, I've never in my life shaved my thighs with a razor because I just didn't need to. It's like peach fuzz. I always shave my calves, underarms, and bikini, though, and the latter two tend to have darker hair.

The no!no! not only didn't decrease the amount of hair that grew, it also failed to remove any hair during usage. I would go over the same spot exactly as instructed 10 or 20 times, and it wouldn't shave the hairs at all. The hairs would just get stay as is. I would spend hours a day with this thing, and it would be like I hadn't shaved in days. I returned this for a real refund and was very disappointed.

So far so good - 10.30.09
I've use it twice and it seems to be doing the job. It does take time and commitment. The directions say not to do it on your underarms or knees until you have mastered the flat ares; LISTEN TO THE DIRECTIONS, they are true! I burnt my underarm (felt like sunburn) not fun, I wish I would have listened to the directions!

Quick Take: inconsistent, time-consuming, accurately described, more trouble than its worth

I haven't been using the no!no! for a long time, but I have to admit I'm disappointed. Although the description tells you the no!no! doesn't work the same as a razor, I thought it would work better than it has so far. I definitely still need to use a razor if I want smooth skin after using the no!no!, as only some hair is burned and even a portion of that isn't flush with my skin - even after using the stubble hot blade. However, I wouldn't say it's a terrible product - just very inconvenient: by itself, it destroys enough hair to make it possible to wear shorts without the irritation of shaving or pain of waxing, but not enough to get that silky smooth feeling.

So-so - 10.18.09
I had heard good comments from friends and the net, and was eager to try this out. Unfortunately, for me, it didn't work well at all. My arm hair, for example, is coarser than average, and it didn't do much for me, either with the "long" attachment or with the shorter one. If your hair is thick (either overall, or per-hair thickness), you might be disappointed..

Don't waste your money! - 10.16.09
Quick Take: painful, ineffective

I was so excited to try this. The Sephora saleslady told me there was no smell, no pain, etc. Got home, charged it and gave it a whirl. Totally burns your legs-ouch!!! Not only that the smell is unbearable AND to top it off, I still had hair on my legs!!! Unbelievable! Hmm...maybe this is why the price keeps falling? Don't waste your money!

So happy - 10.13.09
Quick Take: great

OK first I want to say sensitive skin and I always get bumps and in grown hairs shaving. I can't use other stuff or I will get a rash. I hate waxing. So I ordered no!no! pulled it out of the box and watched the DVD. Went straight to the bathroom and started on my legs. It's easy it blinks and makes a little buzzing if you go to fast but, easy. Then went straight for my armpits cause thats the problem area .and went over it a few times. It was great my armpits are so smooth so it may smell a little while you use it but,so what...IT WORKS ...NO BUMP ! NO IN GROWN HAIRS! NO RASH! LOVE IT!

It's very effective, but a bit of a hassle. It's also kind of scary because the way that it burns the hair off you... it's hard to explain, but it's just kind of scary. On areas like your knees and places that are curved like that, it's very easy to burn yourself.
But it does work, and it does seem to reduce hair density. I would recommend it, but I'm not sure 100$ was a good price for it. I would rather have paid around 50$ or 70$ for it. Also, it takes me about an hour to an hour and a half to do both legs. It's just tricky.
