Reverses age wrinkles
-05.19.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I use this product regularly now. It has made my skin so much smoother and softer. I had deep wrinkles between my eyes and on my forehead that are almost gone now. It has erased years from my face. My friends have noticed the results and have asked me for my secret.

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I have dry skin with ugly lines at the corner of my mouth. This is the only night moisturizer that has help the appearance of these lines. I may still resort to more desperate measures - but for right now am happier than I have been in a long time thanks to this product.

So happy with this
-03.31.13
I had gotten this for my mother since she's in her early 40s and has a electricity and collagen problem and she won't go spend good money on herself to help with it unless it's at a drug store so after just a few days she's not waking up with lines on her face and her skin looks amazing I'm deffenetly buying it again for her

Absolutely the BEST!!!
-03.23.13
Quick Take: amaizing! the best cream i've tried
I have spent 8 months searching for the right moisturizer and finally found it! This is more expensive than others but it actually works. It goes on creamy but doesn't make me break out. It absorbs nicely into the skin so you don't have an oily film on top. I wake up to supple, soft skin and I can actually see a reduction in the lines on my forehead and around my eyes. I'm so glad that I finally gave PTR a chance! Whenever I went to the Sephora store and was recommended this I ended up getting something else because I thought the bottle was too small and expensive but let me tell you it is worth the price and a little goes a long way. It's packed with awesome ingredients and I find that I only need a small amount in comparison to the other less expensive moisturizers, more is not always better. After spending months on less expensive, lower quality products I decided to finally splurge and I'm so glad I did! I'm so happy with this product, love it! Here are some of the moisturizers I tried out and results, hope this helps in narrowing down your decision:
-Korres antiaging night cream (brown packaging): It smelled awful, like playdoh :( it's thick and I had to slader on a ton to feel like my face was getting enough coverage and even then I would wake up with dry, tight skin.
-Lancome Multivitamin Night cream: It was an ok cream I was attracted by the ingredients (vitamin E, etc) and it moisturized ok but it didn't do much else. I didn't get the supple, soft feeling I was looking for
- Lancome continuous Hydrating cream (not sure about the name it's blue and says its a 24 hour moisturizer): The cream is powder blue and when I put it on my face it would sting! It had a heavy perfume smell and was greasy. It's supposed to "tingle" but it felt more like stinging on my face :(
-Algenist intense night time cream: This was a good cream, but it made me break out. It moisturizes well but it also gave me tiny pimples under the skin :( out of all the others I tried I came the closest to sticking with this one had it not been for the breaking out part I probably would have but after trying PTR I can honestly say it's a better cream, with better results than Algeist and the price difference ins't that much more, you get more with the Algeist bottle but I didn't really notice a difference in the wrinkles on my face like I did with PTR.
Everyone's skin is different and you have to try a few to find what's best for you but I would definitely say give this cream a chance I think like most of us you'll be glad you did =)

Best Night Cream Ever
-02.07.13
Quick Take: rocks!
Awesome product PTR! The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the cost associated with the amount of product you receive. Otherwise, this is the best night cream I have ever used. It does exactly what it promises. I use this along with the Peel Pads and have seen considerable difference in my overall skin appearance!!!

A Little Goes A Long Way
-12.29.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I love the way my skin feels after using this moisurizer. I don't think my skin has ever felt so soft and smooth. I only need to use a dime size of this product each night to cover my face and neck. With most moisturizers I have to use twice that amount. I took one star away because it is very expensive.

I Love It
-04.29.12
Quick Take: moisturizing
I've been using this PTR product for about 7 months now and am just finishing up the jar. I use it every night, and yes, it does last that long. My skin soaks it in and becomes soft and glowing. I can't say it's done anything significant for my wrinkles (laugh lines and around the mouth lines), but it does look like they are plumped up - hence the 4 out of 5 stars. I do get absolutely fabulous results when used in conjunction with the UnWrinkle Pads. I use those only 2x a week at night because more than that is too much for my skin. UnWrinkle Pads, UnWrinkle serum, then UnWrinkle night cream...my husband can't take his hands off of my cheeks.

My favorite night cream ever!
-03.16.12
My skin reacts to everything and SPFs are like a death sentence to me. I use this cream day and night after trying dozens of other labels. I lived in AZ for 11 years and my face dried up to the consistancy of a cracker. Not only has my skin significantly improved, it actually has a soothing effect. A tiny bit goes a long way. Though PTR is pricey, it lasts longer than other products of lessor value. I am totally hooked, especially since at my last facial, the specialist asked me what I was using as she wanted to try it.

OK. So I have "meh" skin. I'm 42. I'm getting wrinkles. But I still get acne. AAARGH!!!! I guess I was a total biaatch in a previous life to deserve this. Whatever. I've tried everything from the pharmacy brands that my dermatologist recommended to the $400 a jar stuff (not mentioning names). Some stuff was better than others, but nothing has ever changed my skin so positively and so fast! Un-Wrinkle is AMAZING! The first time I used it, I could see a difference the next morning. Seriously. I've been using it for about 10 days now, and my skin has NEVER looked this good. Expensive, but I think I may just have to start mugging people so I can get my next jar.

I've used a lot of products, but knowing the PTR line and how great it is, I decided to go for the plunge and try this night cream. Seriously woke up the next morning and was ecstatic at what I saw in the mirror... not a HUGE different right away, but definitely something. It's just a perfect cream, and if you're like me and have been trying a million to find "the one", do yourself a favor and try this from PTR. From what I've found, everything in his line is extraordinary and this is no exception!

I was out of my usual day/night creams & I was told that this brand is award-winning. So I bought a jar of the night cream & was given a free sample of the day cream.
I have been using it for the past couple of weeks & I love it! Although it is quite expensive, I appreciate the fact that very little goes a very long way.
Highly recommended!!

I love Peter Thomas Roth. I use the eye cream and the Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads and Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Eye Creme but I wasn't using a face cream by PTR... However, after trying a bunch of others (Lancome, Korres, etc.) I found this to be the best. It doesn't have dimethicone which I think is awful for skin! I don't break out or get a rash (I'm sensitive) and with the peel pads which I use every other day, I have gotten so many compliments on my skin. I'm not going to ever try another brand again. This one seems to be the best!! :-) (By the way, I'm 28 and white)

POSITIVELY AWESOME - I LOVE THIS
-05.07.11
Quick Take: moisturizing, non-oily, can be used as spot treatment, a little goes a very long way, love the thicker consistency, sinks right in, leaves skin baby soft, i adore this cream
I received six PTR products as a gift. I've reviewed them together since they are to be used in tandem. I like to use products for at least four weeks since extended use sometimes has unexpected results. Products need time to work before being discarded. PTR products are expensive, so it would be unfair to suggest people commit based only on samples.I used these products during dry winter months. I was especially interested in trying the Retinol Fusion PM.
ANTI-AGING CLEANSING GEL really cleaned my skin, deep down, and almost too well. It felt slightly harsh to me. If you have oily skin, this might be perfect for you. This may be better everyone in summer. I like the consistency of the gel. Only a little bit is used, so it should last a very long time. I like the foamy lather. One of the product claims is that it supposedly brightens skin but I didn't see that. It's filled with good for skin ingredients. I didn't see any major changes.
The UN-WRINKLE PEEL PADS exfoliate skin to reveal the new cells underneath. The pads aren't skimpy. The directions stated that these pads should be used AM and/or PM. I opted for the once a day treatment, choosing to use them at night. Since they prep the skin for what's to follow, it seemed more beneficial for me to do this at night since I treat my skin more intensively at night. The other reason was because this remains on the skin for a few minutes before being washed off. (The additional time for this is three minutes I'd rather spend in bed).
UN-WRINKLE was to be used morning and night. Created to help relax deep wrinkles and expression lines, it's filled with ingredients for those purposes, along with protective vitamins. It supposedly leaves skin looking younger. I do NOT have any deep wrinkles. I don't think this made my skin look younger. PTR claims that this "helps to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles, expression lines, and fine lines, from the first appearance..." It didn't.The first time I used it, some fine lines I didn't know I had became apparent. A line at the corner of my mouth became obvious. I didn't like Un-Wrinkle.Since I don't want to advertise any wrinkles that may be forming, this ruled out using it, after trying this product a handful of times, with similar results. It seemed to be highlighting faults that weren't apparent .After I stopped using the products I've reviewed here, I tried Un-Wrinkle alone. I still had very negative results with the fine line at the side of my mouth becoming more apparent, rather than less so. It didn't work for me.
MAX SHEER ALL DAY MOISTURE DEFENSE LOTION is a moisturizer, neither better nor worse than others. It absorbs quickly, is oil-free, with an SPF of 30. AT $42 for 1.7 ounces, it's not any better than a drugstore moisturizer, which can be purchase for less. Sephora sells moisturizers I like better. However, there's nothing negative to say about it either. It didn't impress me. It's to be used in the morning, to protect from sun damage. This was supposed to be used after the gel cleanser and Un-Wrinkle. Since I stopped Un-Wrinkle, I can't speak to how it would have worked in tandem, but can speak to how it works as a moisturizer. It is what it is - a decent moisturizer with sun protection.
RETINOL FUSION PM was the product I most wanted to try. It's supposed to help skin regenerate and renew. In some places, my skin felt raw, even hours later. I tried using it every other day, with a goal of building up to daily use, but my skin didn't adjust to it. It irritated my skin. My skin hurt hours later, and a few times, well into the next day. I used only a tiny bit, but ended up having to use an antibiotic cream to soothe the irritated. The areas near my nose were so irritated that it looked as if I had a bad cold. That's not something I want from a product. The skin in the crease around my nose ended up peeling, taking over a week, to resolve, even with the use of an antibacterial cream. Bottom line is that it did damage it shouldn't have, so it's not for me. Since I didn't pay for this, I can't complain about the expense, but I wouldn't buy this. At the suggestion of my Sephora consultant, I substituted Philosophy's Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Retinol Pads because I wanted a Retinol product. Those don't irritate my skin, so I've continued to use them occasionally. Judging by the reviews for Retinol Fusion PM, people have had excellent results and are very happy with this, so my advice would be to try a sample first to make sure it's right for you.
UN-WRINKLE NIGHT is designed to keep deep wrinkles from forming, firm up collagen, and tone skin. It's thick. While it might appear to be expensive, a little goes a really long way. It's effective, so it's a good investment. It's recommended that it follows the Peel Pads, Un-Wrinkle and Retinol Fusion PM. While Un-Wrinkle and Retinol Fusion didn't work for me, I substituted, as suggested by my Sephora consultant. It's excellent. I like that it might keep wrinkles from forming. It's NOT messy, absorbs well, and leaves skin feeling soft. Although I ended up changing to a different skin care line, I now use this for spot treatments. I feel very comfortable recommending it. Used sparingly, it could possibly last for months.
I hope this review offers some guidance in making skin care decisions. While I did switch to another line, there are some obvious benefits of the PTR products. I'm especially appreciative of the Un-Wrinkle Night cream. PTR products have an excellent reputation.
