I love the Clinique Acne Solutions Line. I can't say enough about the effectiveness of these products to clear up stubborn acne. I have tried the bar soap and the foam cleanser and I prefer the bar by far. The bar lathers like crazy and lasts a long time. The foam does not seem to lather very much and it has an odd smell....sort of like a hint of mildew, which was very odd and unpleasant. I buy these bars whenever I can and keep spares and I used it every day on my face, chest and back.
Great product! I use it along with the Acne Solutions Lotion, Moisturizer, and spot clearing gel, as well as Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (the best moisturizer for combination skin).

Quick Take: mattifying, gentle formula
This is the ONLY thing that I have tried that clears up my persistent body acne. I have been looking for a product for 10 years to accomplish what this bar did in one week. I tried the foaming cleanser first and although it was a descent cleanser, it did little to nothing to clear up my back and shoulders. I don't know why this works, and I don't need to know why. It works. Period.

I really love this facial soap. It is super-gentle, which is perfect for my combination skin. I thought I needed something strong and abrasive, but I was wrong. This keeps my skin clear. I still deal w/ afternoon oilies, but I don't think there is ANY product that combats that all day.

Best Body Acne Soap Available for the Price!- 03.10.10

I've been using this product for a total of 10 days in conjuction with the Murad Anti-Acne body spray. I use it solely on my back, where my skin is nearly always broken out. It makes my skin feel squeaky clean, and through consistant use has cleared up a significant portion of my back without making it feel overly dry or flakey.

Great Mild Acne Soap- 03.08.10

I'm 22 male and have had body breakouts since I can remember, I was always afraid to take off my shirt at the beach/pool/etc. I workout and have a fit body but sadly was never able to go shirtless until I bought this bar. It's fragrance free and does not dry me out like other soaps do. The bar form is excellent for body cleansing and it does a good job as a face cleanser as well. I'm surprised it actually works good on both face/body. After approx. 2 weeks my body has stopped breaking out and the redness is going away with continued use. Hopefully I'll be fully ready by the summer to finally show off all the hard work from the gym. Try it you won't regret it.

this product saved my butt, literally !! i always have had clear skin on my body until i started working out and i found myself broken out on my back & butt, gross. so i decided to give this a try and after 4 days i only have one pimple left ! i dont know if it works for everyone but i recommend to give it a try !!

Quick Take: intensive, gentle formula
I love this product and have used it many times before. It is especially nice to travel with, since liquids are limited. It also lasts an extremely long time, if you keep it dry between use.

I purchased this bar to see if it would help clear body acne, and thus far my chest looks great. However, my back is still taking quite a long time to clear up, which is disappointing. I also use this product on my face and enjoy that it doesn't make it dry out the way Clinique's liquid facial soap does.

Quick Take: gentle formula
I've been using this soap for a year or two now since Clinique changed its acne soap. The upgrade of adding a container for the soap was a nice change. This isn't the kind of acne soap that you'll feel your skin tingle or it will suck the moisture out of your skin. Because I've had to use prescription meds for my acne this soap has been a nice addition because while it works to reduce my acne it's not harsh on my face.

I have been using Clinique products for over 10 years and I just can't bring myself to use any other face soap. I have recently started using this (Acne Solutions Bar Soap) and really like it. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I prefer the bar soap because you can rub a little on a wash cloth (get lather) and really give your face a once over to gently scrub away the flakes. I just could not achieve the lather with the foam.

which product works better, the bar or the foaming cleanser? ive used the bar years ago and cant remember how i liked it. i currently use the foaming cleanser and it tends to dry out my skin.. so i was just wondering if anyone else had an opinion as to which is better. thanks!

This product saved my skin. I really thought a bar of soap is the type to leave residue and to leave my skin dry, but this is by far the bext cleanser I use for my combination type skin. I'm also really prone to breaking out. Getting backheads on my face that eventually evolves into zits. I also use to have cyst pimples (breakouts under the skin). This product cleared it all. It took me around 2 weeks to see results but I am now a firm believer in the product.
I use a cleansing oil to breakdown my makeup then, Then I use this to cleanse my entire face. Massaging for about 60 secs in circular motion. Followed my the clinique #2 toner. I put it on a cotton pad then swipe and pat onto my entire face and follow up with anything else that's part of my skincare routine. My skin feel so tingly and refreshed afterwards. After using clinique products I look forward to my skincare routine daily. Im 22 use to get breakouts all the time until I dsicovered this product. Even my acne scars are dissapearing.
I WILL NEVER SWITCH BACK TO ANY OTHER CLEANSERS!

Quick Take: gentle formula
This soap is amazing! It doesn't dry out your skin, and your face is squeaky clean after you use it! I even have flaking from the "1/4 cream" bar soaps; this was awesome from the first use! My skin is clearing up for the first time in years, with no products!

I use this with my Clarisonic Mia (sensitive skin brush) and it is fabulous! I used to get cystic acne, but this product cleared that up in a little under a week. Not only that, it kept those "time of the month" pimples at bay! I love it! One note is that I used to use the Clarisonic with a normal brush, but since the soap dries your skin ever so slightly, now use a sensitive skin brush. The soap didn't overdry my skin, just took me from oily to normal. LOVE IT!!!

I can't believe how well this works- 01.10.10
I am 23 and have been battling acne on my cheeks for the past 5 years. The type of acne I have is not caused by oil because my skin is dry. I've tried everything under the sun in terms of facial cleansers, but this is the first one that has actually worked in clearing up my skin. I didn't think it would because I though salicylic acid is only for oily skin but it's a miracle! I prefer the soap bar to a liquid cleanser because it's easier to spread on my face. This, in combination with Juice Beauty's blemish stick and starting a regular exercise routine really saved my skin!
