Quick Take: foamy
This soap works well on preventing and helping clear up my acne on my back. However, for whatever reason this doesn't work on my face. My acne on my face doesn't go away like the ones on my back.

I'm 30 yrs old and had started to develop small - but annoying - acne patches above my eyebrows and on my cheeks. I had already been using the regular Clinique bar soap but clearly needed a new solution. This did just the trick! I started using it along with the Clarifying Lotion and the Clearing Moisturizer. Using the two extra products all the time is too much but for breakouts they do the trick quickly. I've limited my use to just that. The soap is great for everyday.

Quick Take: exfoliating
I had minimal acne on my back, neck and bottom that would always bother me, and this product got rid of it in a weeks time. For the result, I absolutely love this product. It will make you skin feel dry, so I use their deep moisture lotion after I shower and it makes my skin feel great all day. Also females, be careful around your delicate parts with this, may irritate. Other than that, it is the only product actually get rid of acne on the body.

Quick Take: soapy
I personally love this product. It gets rid of my blemishes within 2-3 days. Obviously it doesn't do miracles because it doesn't clear up blackheads or acne that isn't on the surface of your skin but it works wonder for me on the ones that pop out :)

I bought this to use on my body since I sometimes get a pimple on my back and wanted to prepare for the summer. This soap is very mild and did not irritate my skin at all and I have sensitive skin. It is also very exfoliating. I've been using it for about a month and no breakout at all.

Classic, effective, squeaky clean!

I don't have terrible skin, but it tends to get oily in the T-region with occasional hormonal-related breakouts. This is exacerbated in the later spring and summer months and this is when I make my transition to this acne bar vs. the usual bar for oily skin. I have been using Clinique for years -- it is one of the few brands that does not irritate my sensitive skin nor dry it out and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. I typically wash at least once/day with my Clarisonic (lather first, then use the Clarisonic, rinse, then re-wash to get the eye area). The bar lasts forever, so a good buy!

I started using the foaming acne cleanser that came with the trial size kit at first and I think this soap is a better value. I've been using the Acne 3 step system for about 5 weeks now and it's working so far. In the beginning there was a purging phase but it seems to have stopped now!

I have almost used up my bar of soap and it has done very little for me. It keeps my face breakouts under control, but I purchased it for my back. My back looks the same as it did before I started using this soap. It also dries out the skin.

I received this as a deluxe sample and so glad I did! Who knew a bar soap could make such a great face soap? It's a great price for a great product and it lasts for a long time! The time sample size the size of my thumb lasted me 2 months when used 2x/day!

So this is actually a really great product. It will last forever since you don't need much and, best part, it actually works! It seems like my acne clears up over night after washing up with it. SO GOOD. I don't notice any film left behind (says some over reviewer) so you don't have to worry about that. I have oily skin so it is not drying at all. It's wonderful! Leaves my skin so soft.

I've been purchasing the cleansing foam for years and I've never found a product that keeps my skin clear as well as it does! The bar soap is the same formula but it's a better value than the cleansing foam; it's less expensive and I don't see myself ordering it every month for how large the bar is. If it's not used with the rest of the acne solutions steps, or at least a moisturizer, you'll see some noticeable dryness.

After the last face wash I had been using (for years) changed their formula, I was getting constant breakouts and needed to make a switch. I tried nearly half a dozen different washes with little luck before receiving this soap as a sample around the holidays. I was skeptical but desperate, so gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. This leaves my face feeling squeaky clean but not tight or dry. Since switching I have had no major breakouts, and my BF has even started using this soap as well. The value is unbelievable; the two of us have been using the same bar for a month now and it still looks the same size!

Like a normal soap, this is pretty drying, but it also works really well on my acne. My acne is hormone/bacteria based: I get acne on my cheeks and chin, and this really helps for me. Just moisturize and you'll be good!
