SEPHORA COLLECTION Professional Heated Lash Curler

What it is:An innovative heated eyelash curler. What it does:This can't-live-without lash innovation is perfect for curling stubborn straight lashes anytime, anywhere. What else you need to know:Designed to be used after mascara application, this curler gently warms the waxes in mascara, resulting in a stronger, longer-lasting curl. Simply turn on, wait 15 seconds, place the comb directly onto lash line above lashes, gently lift and comb lashes (don't wiggle) into the desired shape (as you would with a mascara brush), hold for one or two seconds, then release. Repeat across lashline until the desired effect is achieved. For extra impact, place at tips of lashes, gently push up and back, hold for two to three seconds, then release.

Doesn't do anything
-11.26.12
Quick Take: useless
Got this and tried it a few times, pretty worthless. It doesn't curl, you just feel it warm it. Cheap quality too. Wouldn't buy it for five bucks.

Love this
-11.25.12
I really like this device, I feel it is not as harsh as the manual eyelash curlers. Gives a very nice natural curl to your lashes.

It's great if you have the patience and know how to use it. The only problem is that it gets dirty very fast and a little difficult to clean.

Great until it broke
-11.21.12
I did a lot of research and decided that a heated curler was the way to go. This one worked great for about a month or so. It eventually cracked and I had to throw it away :( It also eats batteries. I had to switch it out at least once every two weeks at best.

Didn't do anything
-11.10.12
Quick Take: ineffective
I went into my Sephora looking for a "powerful" curler, because my lashes weren't holding a curl the way they used to. The woman who helped me said this might do the trick. When I got home I tried it, and on bare lashes it did absolutely NOTHING. Not a lick of curl to be found. The instructions did say you can use it after applying mascara, so maybe the waxes in mascara heat up and that's what causes the curl to happen and stay? I use Blinc on most days, which can't be curled after application, so back the curler is going to the store.

Surprise!
-10.28.12
Quick Take: great, easy to use
I love this! I can now try non waterproof mascaras. Previously I had to use WP to hold the curl. Now, I can use non WP, but get great lift and curl from the heat. Easy to use. Turn it on before applying mascara, and its ready when I'm done. Bought one for my mom and she likes it too!

Pretty good but not great
-10.14.12
I bought this curler because I can't use the traditional metal ones because they sometimes hook my lashes and pull them...ouch! I used the plastic ones for years but they always broke so I decided to try this. I agree the battery you get with it stinks and will run out in a couple days so be prepared. Overall this is pretty good but not great. With a new battery it almost heats up to much and I end up melting a lot of my mascara, you are almost better off with a weaker battery so it doesn't get too warm. Although it could be better I still think it's much better than the traditional curlers so if you are like me and keep getting eyelashes pulled by the old school curlers definitely give this a try.

Good heated curler
-09.29.12
I curl my eyelashes daily and I used the regular eyelash curler but I decided to try this one and I love it! I feel that it does not damage my eyelashes as much as the regular one does. It takes a while to get used to curling your lashes with this but over time it becomes easier. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the first time you use it the battery that comes with it sucks and it dies quickly. The battery went dead after the first week I had it and never left it on for more than 5 minutes. After I put another battery in I did not have the problem again. It is a must if your addicted to curling your lashes like me just try it!

The best eyelash curler
-09.18.12
Quick Take: affordable, natural not crippled
okay, so my lashes are really short and if i use the old style eyelash curler it would look so fake!... so what i do is curl my lashes with an ordinary curler, put mascara and use this product... instead of that fake crippled eyelashes, i thank god i have now naturally looking lashes.... people who gave this 1 star did not follow the directions, you are supposed to put on mascara then use the product so that the wax in the mascara would get heated up would give you a boost... and by the way to people out there saying it's not too hot.. why would they invent a product that would be really hot and plus you are using it on your eyes which is the delicate part... and it only heats up in 15 seconds... hope this helps

Cool little tool
-09.09.12
Quick Take: cool, handy
This curler gives just enough "lift" to open the eye without pinching or pulling like traditional curlers. You also don't get any hard bends in the lash...

Did not make a difference
-09.05.12
I tried this after seeing it in a book by a well-know make-up artist. Maybe I just had high hopes, but it did nothing, no change.
I use the convertible mascara by stila, which is not sold in sephora anymore. It gives me the curl, the length, the volume and it stays on forever. I thought the heated curler would give me an even wider-eyed look, but I'm disappointed. So I'm returning it.

Disappointed
-09.04.12
Quick Take: a waste of money, not worth it, poor
I was so excited to get this product because my eyelashes are pin straight, but 1) it took awhile to curl my eyelashes with it 2) the battery died quickly and 3) it does not heat up that much. It was a waste of money. I am better off heating up my regular eyelash curler with a blow dryer or lighter- gets the job done faster, better, and its cheaper!

Quick Take: amazing
I love this curler! I have terrible lashes that don't hold curl for very long with a normal lash curler but this one keeps my lashes curled all day long!

Not long lasting Curler
-08.27.12
Quick Take: easy to use, not worth the money, easily breakable
Works well when functioning, but already on to my 2nd since the first one died after about 6 weeks. Easy to use and heats up quickly, but definitely not the best use of money. Not sure if I will buy a 3rd if this one dies on me...

Didn't Work For My Lashes
-08.26.12
I was really excited about this product because I hate squeezing my lashes together with a traditional curler. Unfortunately, this barely did anything to my lashes. It gave them a teeny hint of curl, which then didn't stay. Maybe it would work for someone else, but I'm back to my regular eyelash curler.

Clever
-08.24.12
When I find I've gotten ahead of myself and put my mascara on without curling my lashes first, I get this out and it warms up in seconds, curling my mascara'd lashes perfectly. Effective and inexpensive, a great buy.

Don't waste your money
-08.12.12
Barely works, if you are patient enough to spend the time it takes pressing it against your eyelid to get the tiny bit of uplift it can give. Hoping I can return it
