Quick Take: milky, gentle
Using the cleanser at night and the calming lotion after using the base and foundation during the day makes a marked difference well within a week for me. I have light to medium rosacea and it shows if I don't keep it clean properly. This made all the difference.

Basically love this cleanser. It is very soothing, does not irritate at all. However, I have to use a wet washcloth to ensure a clean result.

Perfect for Skin with Rosacea

This cleanser definitely does what it claims to do. I have been using this twice daily since I discovered it three years ago, and it is by far the most gentle cleanser I have ever used--and I have tried many! So many cleansers claim to be gentle, but still dry out my skin! I've also found that most gentle cleansers don't remove my makeup very well. This one removes all of my makeup without drying or irritating my skin, which is perfection since I have Rosacea. I know this cleanser is a little pricey, but it has really helped my skin. My redness isn't nearly as bad as it was before I started using this cleanser. I highly recommend this to other people who have Rosacea.

Quick Take: milky, creamy, gentle, non-drying
This cleanser is very gentle, and has don a good job of keeping my dry, sensitive skin from becoming flaky. I get mild-moderate acne, and I have not had any flare-ups from using this product, wich I have been using for one month. This was surprising to me since this cleanser does not strip the oils away from my face, and doe not leave my skin feeling tight, or dry, or really like I used a cleanser(I do feel clean though). I used this one time to try to remove eye makeup, and it stung real bad. Don't do that. Overall, less redness and still clean.

Miracle Cure Cleanser

I call this cleanser a "miracle" because I've tried so many others, many of them being very expensive, and those did not "cure" my redness caused by ultra sensitive skin. Cliniques's Redness Solutions delivers the "goods" , so to speak, & this cleanser was a real solution to my irritable skin.. Also , it is non-drying & priced reasonably, I recommend trying it, what do u have to lose , when you're left with noticeably better skin. Jan, from Boca Raton, FL.

Seems the formula and packaging has changed a bit, not really for the better. Liked it when the product was thicker. However, this is still a comforting and effective cleanser. I don't use this at the end of the day, because I'm not sure it would effectively remove all the dirt and make-up. But, it's great in the morning and really keeps the red at bay.

Quick Take: non foamy, soothing, softening, calming, moisturizing
I have sensitivity redness. Possibly undiagnosed rosasea. I've tried numerous "sensitive" formula cleansers, from Perricone to Philosophy, and I've still come away with redness immediately after washing.
This is the first and only product I've found that seems to soothe my skin while cleansing, and leaves me with next to no redness after washing. I'm sad I waited so long to try this. I am purchasing the moisturizer today. And can't wait to try the foundation once I run out of Makeup Forever.

Calming

Quick Take: soothing, creamy
I purchased the kit for what I thought was Rosacea. Turns out it was a medication reaction. However, I loved this soothing cleanser so much that I bought the big size in a single. I use it at the end of my shower with cool water. I have fair skin that flushes easily and have a little redness in cheeks when I get frustrated or embarrassed. This cleanser keeps the redness down.

This is a nice gentle cleanser, as marketed, but I don't know if it really does much for my skin. It doesn't dry or lead to irritation, but having skin that's a double whammy of acne prone, combination skin that is also sensitive, I don't think I can just use this cleaner because sometimes you have to feel like you're getting rid of the crud on your face. Really nice and gentle though, and great for eye area. I think it's also good for before bed, so you can cleanse for the 2nd time without drying.

Quick Take: an excellent gentle cleanser.
I have sensitive, red, dry and OLD skin! Have only used this for a few weeks, but no reaction to it at all. Removes all makeup and leaves skin feeling soft, yet clean. There is no tight, parched sensation. Replaces another well known cleanser and exceeds expectations.

Quick Take: exfoliating
I used this product throughout my pregnancy to help calm my facial flare up from my roaring hormones. It was gently enough to not irritate my pores but effective enough to remove my full coverage foundation at the end of the day. I loved it!! I followed up with the redness moisturizer as well!!

When I started as a Clinique consultant I was put on the Redness Solutions line for my rocesa, a condition which no one seems to be able to treat, the cleanser and the moisturizer have helped my redness MAJORLY!
Fun Fact, using these products actually adds exfoliation.

Ive been looking for a cleaner for what seems like forever that is gentle enough for my skin but also helps get rid of my slight acne. This is the best cleanser ever! It's so gentle but also clears acne. I definitely recommend this!!

Sensitive Winter Skin

I have super sensitive skin and in the winter it's even worse! My nose and cheeks get bright red and chapped with dryness and most cleansers are too harsh. This cleanser is amazing. It's soothing and softens my skin while cleaning. If you're a heavy make-up wearer, it may not get everything off the first time. I wear light mineral make-up and haven't had much trouble with make-up being left on.

After decades of acne, I then developed rosacea. Finally learning that my skin was very sensitive, I set about trying all kinds of sensitive skin products. Funny how many of them sting, dry, make skin oily and break out, and cause even more redness! I ran across the Clinique Redness solutions line on the Sephora site. I read EVERY review and ordered. It says it "melts" the dirt and makeup from your face. That is the perfect description. Rubbing it into your skin it feels almost greasy. When you rinse it isn't sqeakie clean...just soft, moist, NORMAL clean. It is so different from the usual cleansers that it takes some getting used to, so give it a fair trial. I'm glad I did. Although the redness doesn't miraculously disappear, it does diminish while soothing the heat, the throbbing, and the scalded feeling. I WILL continue to buy it and I DO recommend it. If you will give it a fair trial I think you will too.

Decent cleanser, but that's where it stops

It does remove make-up well, and is great if you indeed have sensitive skin. However, I think the "redness reducing" element of this cleanser simply means that there aren't harsh perfumes that irritate the skin. I was looking for something that would even my skin-tone more (I have heavy red undertones in the winter when my skin gets really fair) -- I don't think product made much of a difference. They should have just labled it "for sensitive skin" then, not marketed it as a "redness solution". I'm also not much of a fan of the medicinal smell. While this product works fine as a regular daily cleanser, I probably won't purchase it again.
