Best facewash ever

Quick Take: foamy, milky
I've been using this facewash for 2 years and love it. My skin looks even and glows when I wash with it. I typically use this 6 days a week and baking soda 1 day a week.
It takes a little practice to make the right consistency--sometimes I make scrub and sometimes I make it a thinner wash.

This exfoliating type powder is baby fine and it is so kind to your skin. It has made my face brighter and smoother and makes the pores minute in size. My skin is very very sensitive that I did not use a facial cleanser for years just to keep my breakouts under control. But I realized that my breakouts were not constant but my skin looked very congested and unhealthy so I went into Sephora and a male worker recommended this to me, I love it. It makes my skin soft and I feel like my skin is getting alot better. It is smooth and healthy looking. I love all bare minerals products. They work for my skin and keep breakouts at bay for me.

I have been using this facial cleanser for many years. It keeps my face looking smooth and cleans well. It is very easy to use - just add a bit of water to my hand and smooth it on. I love this!

Quick Take: exfoliating, gentle
I bought this awhile back and admittedly wasn't crazy about it. Recently I pulled it out of the cabinet and gave it another go. It is gentle but effective so I can use it every night. My face is sensitive but after this winter its also in dire need of exfoliation. I find my face is smoother and my moisturizer is able to do its job. Does it take getting used to, yes. But my face is brighter and clearer so I'll keep including it in my nightly routine.

I agree and I disagree with some of the other reviews. I say this because when I started using this cleanser, I went through all the stages I read about - too messy, too watery, too this or too that. After a while I got the hang of it, and now it's neither too messy or too watery. It makes a nice, frothy cleanser consistency that does a great job of cleaning my face. It gets all my face makeup off, however, I do use an eye makeup remover first to get any abundance of shadows, concealer, brows off, etc. Then I use this product... it really is worth giving it a try (or another try and practice using it more!).
This is how I do it... I feel funny writing all this step-by-step, I never thought it through until now. I am right-handed - I wet my left hand first, so when the small pile of powder is poured into it, it adheres a little. The pile is about the size of a quarter or less. Then I wet my right hand and have a little pool of water in my right palm - I carefully put both hands together to make the cleanser. It's like a paste, but not thick...however, it's not thin like water... it's just right. But I repeat... it took a bit of practice... I will admit that I wasn't a fan at first, but then I kept using it, mainly because I decided to use it up. And I did like how this gentle, thorough cleanser felt, and how clean my skin is without drying it out. Now I am a big fan - I do think it is a good value, too. Now that I have it down, I don't use much, and I am surprised how long I've had this container. I use it morning and night.
One last thing. I got the AmorePacific powder peel 100 pt sample - I mix the two together and it is amazing! I will be buying this again, and ordering that to mix with it as well. Sorry this is long - but I hope it will help! God bless!

My skin has gotten so sensitive since I turned 40 and gets worse every passing year. I also have issues with eczema and dryness in the winter. I had a hard time finding an exfoliating cleanser that was gentle enough for my sensitive skin, but still benefit from the exfoliation. This totally fits the bill! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think I have to use more of the product than I should to get the right consistency and I will go through the entire bottle too quickly. Otherwise its awesome!

I love powder exfoliates - but when this gets wet it turns to nothing, and though its probably great for someone with sensitive skin, I want to feel the exfoliating a little. I like some of their other cleansers much more.

I love this stuff. I have fairly normal skin, with some acne. All the salicylic cleanser are just too rough on my skin. This cleanser is just perfect. Keeps away the acne and doesn't kill my skin.

Quick Take: gritty, light, gentle
For the most part, I wear bare minerals makeup - a FULL face, from primer to blush, mascara - EVERYTHING. This cleanser, in my opinion, is for someone that wears light makeup, or none at all. The best results I got was on days that I wore no makeup. On days I wore my full face, forget it, it doesn't take off anything.
It is a powder that turns creamy. It says to use about a tsp or tbsp, and I started with about that amount & the equivilant amount of water. It feels like a very very thin cream with tiny gentle grits when cleansing. In order to take off a full face of makeup, I had to use a good 3-5 tbsp of product just to get it off, which wouldn't be cost effective.
It's very gentle, and safe for eyes. I wear contacts & a lot of eye makeup. It hardly took off my eye makeup, but my eyes did NOT feel burned, and did not bother my contacts, because the product is so gentle.
On days without makeup, its nice, makes skin feel good, I wouldn't say it feels super clean, but it definitely feels like a nice treatment.
