My face is not very oily but I can tell a difference when I don't use this primer under my makeup first. My face get shinier quicker than when I do use it. I bought the travel size to try it out first. You use such a small amount, I don't forsee myself using this up quickly.

i dont use foundation but i love using this primer. it smoothes out my face and its not oily or anything. i have used it with foundation before but it seems foundation is my mortal enemy. it keeps it on and looks great but foundation and me do NOT get along

Tried many, but keep coming back! This is by far my favorite primer. Goes on lite, doesn't make your face feel greasy or weighed down. Provides a nice layer so your foundation goes on and looks better! worth a try

Quick Take: light, small amount goes a long way
I love this stuff and don't know how I lived without it. I recently got married and wanted something to help my make-up last all day without needing touched up. I ordered this and started using a week or so before my big day to make sure it would be okay. That's when I fell in love with it. I use it everyday and will be ordering again when I run out.

I've tried several primers and this is the best one I've found. I have acne prone skin that tends to break out if anything is thick, clogging, makes a "protective" barrier or the like. Even the primers that said they were non-clogging or for acne did not work. I would recommend putting it on and then waiting a few minutes to let it set and dry, it seems to work best that way. Also, a few times it has not stood up for the whole day, but overall it has been good, especially better than not using any primer.

Smashbox Photo Finish Light is a dream! First off, I love wearing it "as is" with just some concealer and mascara for a smooth skin minimal day look. As for underneath foundation/powder, it is just as hard working. This primer helps my make-up to glide on smooth, and locks it in until I take it off! The dessert for this product? It is gentle to my fickle skin, not leaving a blemish behind!
