The product is not bad. I had gotten a sample of some kind of Guerlain mascara from Sephora and loved it so much I went back to get what I thought was the same as the sample.... WRONG! While there are a few good qualities like it doesn't flake or smear too easy, I believe the bad qualities outweigh them for me. Personally, I like using mascaras like Buxom because it fans out my eyelashes and doesn't make them stick together. This mascara, unfortunately, for me, does the opposite. It's extremely and untastefully easy to clump this mascara, The wand does not define nor separate your lashes and I almost feel that even after one coat, my lashes just look like one huge anime drawing of where eyelashes would be..... very frustrating. While I love the little wand it comes with get every little eyelash, I will not be purchasing this mascara ever again. I will just simply use the little wand for whatever other mascara I have .

I love this mascara. Every other product smudges on me but the de Guerlain mascara works well on me. The little brush helps me get all the little lashes. I use it first to set a base on my lashes and then I use the big brush.

I usually use Lancôme's mascara with good results, but wanted to try something new. The Sephora rep recommended this product, giving it glowing reviews. She promised it would never smudge until I was ready to take it off. Even without using it on my lower lashes, I had huge black circles under my eyes within an hour. Going back to the store to exchange for my old standby. And will be incredibly skeptical of any in-store rep recommendations.

Great mascara, really thickens and lengthens your lashes. Apply sparingly, it dries pretty hard. Not sure if it was worth $40 but I decided to treat myself. But overall its a great mascara

I use it for over 2 years now and I love everything about this mascara - my eyelashes look super long and natural. Easy to apply and remove. It is my favorite mascara among all others.

I would first like to say that I am very picky about my mascaras.
I came across this and thought I'd give it a try despite the price tag.
I am very surprised and pleased with this great mascara!
Doesn't flake or clump and fully covers each lash (with both wands) for an eye popping effect.
I would normally never spend more than $25 on a mascara but this one is worth every penny.

Quick Take: very effective & easy to use.
Discovered this mascara a few years ago and despite trying others that seem similar, it remains the best. Pricey but it does a fantastic job of separating and coating each and every lash. The brush never gets goopy so neither do the lashes. After applying a sufficient amount of product to the lashes overall, I apply a few strokes to the ends only. The little curved brush can help with this maneuver.

At almost 45, this is the very first mascara that actually made my puny lashes look longer and fuller, without clumping!
For those with removal issues, I used Fresh Soy Face Cleanser - rub it on, and gently wipe with cotton ball or tissue, I seem to get it all off!

I found My Lashes!

This is the first mascara that really makes the most of my sparse blonde lashes! The little brush makes all the difference. I have never beleived in spending as much as this mascara costs, but now I'm a beleliver. I only wish they made it in a soft brown; it would look so much more natural against my fair skin and light hair.

Absolutely love this mascara. You can add as many layers as you'd like without it becoming spider-y or clumped looking. However, it's perfumed. It's not perfumed with a nice scent either - it smells like something an old lady would wear.

What I love about this mascara is that there is a wand for the upper and lower lashes. I like the way it goes on the lashes. It doesn't flake as the day wears on. Good definition of the lashes with use.

This is a dramatic mascara and I wanted to love it. It claims not to flake or smudge - which it doesn't- however, the end result is that it's really difficult to remove. I washed it off and used several makeup removal pads/solutions and it was really stuck on there. For 2 days after, I would wake up with smudges under my eyes and it rather stained the delicate skin area. I tried again without using the 2nd brush and the result (in removal) was a little better. I didn't find the mascara to be as defining either- it was rather clumpy. For such an expensive product and so much effort to remove, I will NEVER buy this mascara again.

I asked the girl at Sephora in DC to recommend a mascara that would last a long time, especially in the summer, but wasn't waterproof to the point that I'd have to start conditioning my lashes. I love this one so far...all I can say is, my lashes look REALLY pretty. And I like how one side is bottom lashes, and one side is top lashes. I always thought the bottom lash mascaras were kinda unecessary, but when I get the two in one deal, they're actually not a bad idea. Not to mention, the design is beautiful - I feel so fancy :)

I tried this on in the store then bought it because I liked how well it separated and defined my lashes. After getting home an hour later, it had migrated under my eyes. Needless to say I returned it.
