Love the curler -- but why can't you buy refills for it seprately??? Why should i have to spend $19 2-3 times a year ?

Quick Take: awesome!
I almost didn't buy it because it's expensive compared to an eyelash curler at a regular drug store but I love it! Still wish it was cheaper lol but well worth it! You won't regret it if you have problems geting the corner lashes especially.

A sales rep showed this to me and I thought it was adorable so I wanted to give it a try. I think I'm just not very competent with these kinds of lash curlers. Sticking to my Blinc heated eyelash curler.

I bought this as a companion to my beloved full size curler. I don't reach for it that much, but when I have the time, it works great on the outside lashes to give them that extra perfect curl.
It is not a must have (the full size one is!) but it is nice to have when you want maximum, precision curl.
Also, great for small eyes or people intimidated by eyelash curlers.

Quick Take: effective, easy, quick, cute, awesome
I don't know what's so magical and great about this little eyelash curler, if it's the silicone, the ergonomic grip or the bit of Japanese magic that Shu mixes into the metal, but for whatever reason, this thing gently hugs your eyelashes and convinces them to curl just perfectly. Loooove this curler, it's infinitely better than any other I've ever tried.

A mini version of a great eyelash curler

Quick Take: adorable
This is not a absolute necessity if you already own the larger version but it does get to those corner lashes that are hard to reach. If you are spending time and money on perfecting your lashes, this is a must have. Shu uemura is the gold standard for eyelash curlers, so if you want a mini, this is IT.

the best - I really didn't understand how this curler could be different from a drugstore curler, but you'll feel it right away. The angle it hits your lashes at is different somehow, and the results are amazing. I look wide-eyed even without mascara.

Quick Take: disappointing
This is a clever tool but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I have a few very long straight lashes at the outside corner of my eyes. They are difficult to reach with my full size curler so I thought this might be the solution. I was able to reach the lashes but for whatever reason the lashes just didn't curl.

This mini version of the shu uemura lash curler is great at curling those corners lashes. It's also great quality, it'll last a long time. However I think unless you have some extra cash around and just love lashes, then get it, if not the original shu uemura lash curler is already so superb, you probably won't need this one as much.

I have both the regular size and the mini, and they are two of the best eyelash curlers I have ever tried. I love the mini one because it is helpful for giving even the tiny lashes at the corner of my eyes a nice shape.

Hard to use

I was hoping this would solve a minor problem I was having with lashes on the inside corner of the eye, but instead I find it awkward and hard to use -- it kind of hits me in the eye and actually messes up my lashes. So for me, for my eye shape, it's not working.

not quite what I wanted

Did curl my eyelashes. However it was too small and awkward for my liking. Very time consuming to do a quality job on my eyelashes and occasionally would make a separation from the ends of the curler. Going to try the full size one and return this

I've been a long time fan of shu uemura's full size curler and thought this would be good to use to get at those few stubborn lashes that are hard to curl. It's just too hard to use and doesn't produce good results. Returned it.

This tool gives me total control over my lashes. The lashes at the edges no longer stick straight out the sides, and each lash gets curled at the appropriate angle, which stops them from clumping up.
