My review is on the shade Amber Diamond; If you're debating on buying this because of the price..JUST DO IT. That made me very hesitant to buy this just because I was dropping 45& on just one product but it is completely worth it. Just one sweep with a soft brush and applied as either highlight or even applied as a blush gives you an amazing peachy-tan glow. It literally makes your skin look like it has a nice healthy glow. My review doesn't do it justice..you seriously need to just try it out!! 100% worth the money.

Quick Take: soft shimmer, natural glow
I have the Rose Diamond-it's amazing! I have fair skin and this gives just enough of a shimmer/glow. I'm obsessed and can't live without this stuff. This is more than I would normally spend on a shimmer powder but it is 100% worth it. i've had this for 4 months, use it daily, and haven't made a dent in it yet. A little really goes a long way, I'm in love!

I recently bought the Diorskin Shimmer Star in 'Amber Diamond' and I'm literally OBSESSED with it! It's probably the best highlighter I've ever used and it gives my skin a beautiful, healthy glow. The price tag is a little hefty but it is absolutely worth the splurge. I've used it everyday and haven't even begun to make the slightest dent. It will definitely last you a long time.

Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheer coverage
I have dirty blond hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Based on most reviews, I purchased the Rose Diamond. It is beautiful... the quality of Dior cannot be matched. Very subtle and sheer powder. Hint of color without too much sparkle. HOWEVER, I was looking for a sun-kissed look. The Rose Diamond was pretty, but it accentuated my pinkish tones. I took a chance (and dug in my wallet) and purchased the Amber Diamond too. What a difference! The Amber is the sun-kissed look I was searching for. Once again, a subtle color--not like those "bronzers" that are so heavy on the skin. This is just a very natural, little shimmer color that enhances all skin tones. I like both, but prefer the Amber.

Quick Take: soft shimmer
I purchased this hi lighter in Amber Diamond .. perhaps I'm not applying it correctly but it hasn't really wowed me in any way. For such an expensive product with such rave reviews I was expecting a WOW effect. It gives my skin a very subtle sheen with a touch of color but it doesn't really POP enough against my lightly tanned skin tone. I find that I still need my Nars blush when using this product. Don't waste tour money.

I have tried all kinds and brands of highlighters and I have to say the Dior Shimmer star highlighters are THE best ones I have tried so far. All you need is to barely touch the product with your brush and it works wonders on the cheeks! This product will last me a LONG time, so it's definitely worth the price! You NEED to try it! You will fall in love!!

I dont really know what to say except that this product leaves a BEAUTIFUL sheen on the face, it is absolutly gorgeous in the light! Better than any highlight ive ever used, including mac skinfinishes.

I had a Bobbi Brown platinum pink strike palette which is so similar to the Dior shimmer and had been hesitating to purchase this for a year. I finally got it recently and this is amazing! I do not regret buying this! The shimmer is so soft and sheer that it looks natural <3 I can wear this to school and everywhere on my lids and cheeks. The shimmer brick also goes well with my Dior lipsticks, the combination of Diors are just lovely <3
One thing to always bare in mind is never let your shimmer bricks fall on to the ground, store it safe. Bricks are easily shattered. But I never shattered any of them and I had 4!

I was skeptical at first, but when I heard this was being discontinued, I decided to give it a try. Absolutely love it! I'm pretty fair, with pink undertones, and it is so flattering, just looks like a glow, not a "layer of shimmer"

I've heard rave reviews regarding this product and must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with the result. Although it gives a nice highlight, I did not find it to be amazing as many have claimed. I do enjoy the product, but I wouldn't say that it is a must have. For the price I paid, I was expecting more.....

Quick Take: soft shimmer
The shimmer, is so fine that it actually creates a "glowing-effect". This is both my highligher and my eyeshadow, and I'm loving it more everyday. When I used it with a primer, as an eyeshadow, it lasts me the entire day (8+ hours) without creasing.
I also love the fact that you get quite a lot of product. Plus, the packaging is sturdy- I've been traveling everywhere with it as my makeup essential and nothing is cracked or broken yet.
At first, I wanted to get the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick instead, because Dior's Shimmer Star's lightest & darkest shades on the compact were also the "skinniest", where as the Shimmer Brick had the same surface area for all the shades. But after using it for a few months, I feel that the colour ratios are very nicely thought out, because you have control over the the shade even with a thick brush.
I have no regrets and no complaints about this product, and I recommend the bronze one to people (like me) that have a yellow undertone.

I bought this in the Rose Diamond as I have the Amber Diamond and love it. The rose is just as pretty but I like it on pale skin. I wear it as a highlighter over my face with pink blush. I love the amber over self tanner on my face as it give a nice sun kissed glow. They both make your skin look fresh and healthy without the over the top look. Love them both!!! Will buy again when these run out. Thanks Dior!!!
