I've been using this brush for over 2 yrs and I have had much less breakage and fall-out since I started using this. My husband and I received two of these as gifts and he likes his as well. His hair is starting to thin a bit and he found this brush to much more gentle than other brushes he'd previously used. I honestly cant say this brush is worth $95, but if you can get it on sale, I would highly recommend it. It's definitely a brush that will last a very long time with proper care. I clean ours with a wide tooth comb, and I also do a once a month deep cleaning on mine with hot soap and water to remove any build up from styling products. Even thru all of these cleanings, our brushes still look as new as the day we received them. The bristles are well distrubuted for easy detangling and styling. It does a great job and leaves my hair so shiny and soft and my husband claims this is the only brush that can keep the static at bay. I do wish it had a better handle though, as I find it very hard to grip when brushing the back of my hair.
All in all, its a very durable, well performing brush.

I have very fine hair but thick and wavy at the same time. This brush was much to stiff for my hair type. If you are looking for an extra stiff brush this is the brush for you.

Great Brush... at a price- 09.29.09

This fekkai brush is wonderful with my fine hair; gets all the tangles out but leaves it looking smooth because of the boar hair bristles... but I'm scared to travel with it because i don't want to leave it somewhere. I'm overprotective.

Quick Take: gentle
This is a good hairbrush. It's excellent at detangling my long, thick, relaxed hair. It does a nice job of smoothing out my edges when I wear my hair pulled back. I was hoping the brush would be great for massaging my scalp, but the plastic bristles are too soft for that. I would imagine this brush would be great for brushing a small child's hair, because the bristles are really soft and gentle--no pulling or tugging when you brush. My only big complaint is the price. For myself, I'm not sure it's worth $95.

I swear this made my hair more beautiful from the first time I used it!
Feels awesome on hte scalp, excellent for blowdrying hair straight, gives terrific shine and bounce to my naturally wavy hair.
It's expensive, but you may never use another hairbrush after being spoiled with this baby!

A super brush- 06.15.09
Quick Take: massaging, easy to hold, easy on the hair and tangles
Really works well on long hair getting tangles out without pulling out lots of hair. Feels good in the hand and on the scalp, in fact, I bought the large one and then ordered the small one for travel. My hair gets whipped up by the wind and this brush helps me keep it smooth and calm.

very disappointed. this brush "catches" the hair & tends to pull it out a little. really hard to clean and expensive. the only thing good about it is its looks. very good looking brush.

Excellent brush...- 04.24.09
Frederic Fekkai's brush is the best brush I've used in a long time. The bristles are great at grabbing thick chunks of hair at a time which is great especially when I'm trying to blow dry my hair out straight. It also cuts down on drying time. It's also gentle on my hair...not a lot of breakage. My only complaint is that it's hard to clean. I usually end up putting it in hot soapy water and let it soak until the water is not hot anymore and then most of the hairspray and gunk comes off. Overall this is a great brush.

This brush does everything it promises to do: leaves hair static free, shiny, soft, and it feels like a massage when you brush your hair. I just wish there was a way to clean this sucker. Lint and hair get stuck in there which I can never completely take off...It's annoying.

Great brush for thick coarse hair- 03.28.09

This brush is good at grabbing sections of thick wavy hair and holding it tight while straightening the hair with a blow dryer. The boar bristles add shine. Results are smooth shiny hair, without the excess lift from using a round brush, and faster drying time.
