Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray To Go

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray To Go

What it is:A travel-size spray version of Oscar Blandi's popular dry shampoo powder. What it does:This innovative dry shampoo spray absorbs excess oil and product build-up and increases hair volume at the roots, while strengthening hair and nourishing scalp. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Petro-Chemicals- Phthalates- GMO- Triclosan How to prevent clogging:-Shake can well prior to and during each usage. If this is not done, solids that fall to the bottom of the can travel through the tube and clog the valve. -If the product becomes clogged or does not spray, take off the actuator (nozzle) and wash it with hot water.-Dry well and place nozzle back on the stem.-Shake can and depress the actuator upside-down. If it sprays it means the valve is not clogged. If it does not spray the valve is clogged.-If the problem persists gently squeeze the can. If it collapses easily there is no gas, meaning the product has been completely used.

nozzle clogs way too easily - 09.03.09
Quick Take: scented

The idea of the product is nice, and the product is effective, but the nozzle clogs really really easily. This can be fixed by running the nozzle under hot water for a little while, but this gets annoying. I like the lemon-y scent but some may find it really overpowering. Another downside to the product (especially the travel size!) is that I packed it in a suitcase on a trip and somehow the product leaked.

Bought this for a trip abroad where i knew we would be traveling a few days without showering. I tried to use it one day, and it made my hair look greasier and gross.

Epicly gross waste - 07.22.09
Quick Take: overpriced, messy, cheaply made

My sister and I both bought this can and both of us had it used up after three uses. At first I had assumed I was doing something wrong as once I sprayed it it left a Grey film at the root of my hair that weighed it down more then the oil, and wouldn't come out until I used real shampoo! trying to make this product work for me took more time then washing my hair, it's over priced and makes a huge mess.

Good for sports - 04.15.09
I like to have this in my purse and use after sports and it really refreshes your hair when you don't have time for a shower, and it's portable, but the spray thing always gets clogged after i use it, which gets annoying.

wonderful product, not enough - 04.14.09
This was one of my favorite products to use before school, from the other contanier, the one that doesn't spray. So i bought this in hopes the nazzle would be easier, but it turns out that after about 1-2 uses, the contanier seems empty. A wonderful product, but it doesn't last long.

missing some product? - 03.18.09
Quick Take: great but a waste of money due to lack of product

Ive had the same problem twice with this product, get about 3 uses out of the can and then its empty. The first one I thought was possibly a tester and had already been used, nope had the same problem with purchase number 2. Works great, but should last longer than 3 uses! I have the non-aerosol version, just as small, and its lasted me about a year. Wish I could return the empty ones.

GREAT! - 03.02.09
Quick Take: the best!

I can't believe this is getting negative reviews. I have dark brown, heavy, coarse hair and this is great at giving me volume at the roots/crown area.

I use alot of serums etc to smooth my hair, which weighs it down. This spray is wonderful for lots of body and also if you apply too much product. You just spray at the ROOT of the hair, wait a minute or two..shake then brush through. NO white film will be left on your hair.

Anyone giving this a negative review is not using it correctly and isn't following the directions.

bad packaging - 02.18.09
I'm on my second can and the first one worked once, the second can worked twice. Either the pacjaging is poor, or they only put one application in the can. I only used it at my temples and it smelled nice and worked well. They really need to fix this problem.

stick with the powder - 02.18.09
Quick Take: only ok in it's delivery, a great formula, a bit overpriced

I have been using the Oscar Blandi powder for a few years and love it, but I wanted a more convenient application rather than going through the whole process of parting and blotting my roots with a kabuki brush dipped in powder. I have thick black (asian) hair and the powder never really showed up when I applied it only to my roots. The spray powder gave me a dull and greying look that I could not blow or brush out. The sprayer works fine, just make sure to shake it *really* well, as in, twice as long as you would normally shake a can of product. Also, it keeps on hissing after you use it, so I pop the nozzle off when I'm done so all those precious aerosols don't escape. It's still effective but the annoyances of the can outweighs the convenience. I love the formula and I'll always use it but for now I'll stick with the powder.

Fail - 12.30.08
There is a good chance that if you buy this, you will pull it out of your cabinet and find it empty. I have read several reviews stating that the nozzle gets stuck. My can hissed at me and nothing would stop it, It was determined to deplete itself of the coughoverpricedcough contents inside. Truth! And how can you expect an associate to believe that if you try to return it?

Expensive for Size, but Worked - 12.03.08
Quick Take: quick, efficient, expensive

I have naturally curly hair, and if I style it at all with a flat iron or anything, I want the style to stay because it's so much work. Having this can around to extend the life of my style was awesome. I used it sparingly, and it took the "oily" look right out of the crown of my hair. It *is* steep for the price, though. I felt like I got more out of Ojon's can, but couldn't dig the smell. This product seems great for folks with thick hair like mine.

Save your money - 11.20.08
Quick Take: ineffective, expensive, pleasant scent, messy

Bought this on a whim at Sephora one morning when I had a jam-packed schedule and no time to go home and freshen up hair that was going a little limp...good thing I only got the trial size, this was a total disappointment. The only good thing about this product was the scent -- it left my hair feeling even limper and more weighed-down than before. Perhaps it works better on shorter or coarser hair, but my hair is thick, fine-textured and very long, and this stuff wasn't helpful at all. (The trial/travel size can is also surprisingly small -- folks with short hair might get more use out of it, but it was pretty much dead after one use on my waist-length hair.)

DISAPPOINTED - 11.16.08
I purchaed the small can and only got about 2 uses out of it. I have short hair too. Either there is very little product to begin with or the can gets clogged.

Won't purchase again.

Disappointing - 11.08.08
I am a big fan of Oscar Blandi's dry shampoo powder, so I had high hopes for the spray. Although the dispense mechanism is great (never clogs, hint hint Ojon), I feel the product's formula is ineffective. The spray actually made my hair a bit weighed down, instead of providing some body. Also, I had to use twice as much product to absorb any oil, and even then it still wasn't very absorbant. I love the convenience of a spray, but I am still searching for formula that works for me. My hair is thick but fine and long in length.

Lazy Vacation Dream Come True - 09.22.08
Quick Take: dry shampoo vacation product purse worthy

I have a short, highlighted bob and have semi wavy fine hair that I normally have to wash and flat iron daily. I am also very vain. I love this product. I am on day three of not washing and styling thanks to this spray. My scalp feels a little ick, but my hair doesn't look at all greasy and it has more texture than I have ever had in my life.

I think it may blend in better in my blonde hair and might stand out on a brunette, so YMMV. However, it is worth the trial size price to find out.

Well I grabbed this yesterday and used it this morning with high hopes, personally the smell to me reminded me of a bathroom cleaner, and since I was not using it in a brightly lit room I did not notice that it made my hair quite white with the residue even after combing it out. Personally I will not purchase this brand again but will try something else, maybe even a tinted one since I have dark hair. The one plus is its small size.

Too wet to be dry - 09.14.08
With a head full of fine, wispy hair, the end of the day usually means oily hair for me. I've been looking for a dry shampoo to freshen up with before going out on the town after work, but this wasn't the answer for me. The small size and spray effect are great, but the powder comes out wet... not fun. They do mention this on the can and say that you should wait until it dries and then shake it out of your hair along with the oils, but I didn't see a change afterward... so sad!

love it! - 09.13.08
I love this stuff! I bought it thinking it probably wouldn't work but it actually did. Has a lemon-y fresh scent-not too overpowering. Definitely wait till it dries before rubbing it out though.

Better stick with the big can - 09.13.08
I am a huge fan of the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo. However, this small can ran out exceedingly fast. I only used it twice (sparingly, both times) and it was empty. I suggest sticking with the big can and only taking the small one for overnight trips.
