I love the whole Amazing Grace line, but this gel is....well it's just average. Not much in the way of scent to it, and it comes out of the tube way too easily. I didn't know if it lathered or not (it doesn't). It does condition skin and provide a close shave, however so does a bottle of conditioner. Like someone before me mentioned, that would be just as good for the same purpose and for less $. If it had a better scent to it that might make a difference, but all said it's quite ordinary.

I put it on for the first time and thought I had made a mistake ordering. I looked at the tube, and it did say gel! No gel, no foaming, just slick as ice. It left the shower floor so slippery (oily) I had to clean it so I wouldn't slip on it. It comes out of the tube in large amounts, and you can't tell if it's on your skin -- just slippery. Weird stuff.

I purchased this because I love, love, love the Amazing Grace fragrance. However, the shave gel isn't a gel at all. It looks, feels, and smells exactly like the hair conditioner! Having said that, I sometimes use the hair conditioner to shave because it completely keeps away skin irritation! If you purchase this, don't expect it to be a real gel or you will be disappointed. It does protect my skin from irritation, but no more so than the conditioner. My advice is to buy a bottle of the hair conditioner, it's the same thing and cheaper in the long run.

Quick Take: amazing
This stuff is amazing! It smells wonderful and works even better. It leaves your legs so smooth, and I find that it takes longer for my hair to grow back. It works on my super sensitive legs. I was a little worried I would break out b-cuz I always break out when I shave my legs but after using this no red itchy bumps. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

I was skeptical at first, really, how much closer could a shave be compared to normal shaving gels? But this product is amazing. Not only is the smell wonderful and lasts a long time, but i noticed that it took noticeably longer to have to reshave! not too much of it goes a long way too. Love love love!

OMG this is THE BEST shave prep I have ever used. It is so slick and smooth and allows for such a close shave. You do only need a little bit. Like, a nickel size per leg. It's like, you think it is gone, but then as you shave it is still there working it's magic. It is awesome and the smell is great too of course. I will never buy another shave prep, this is IT for me. It is as slick as a shaving oil, but is NOT oily at all. I don't know how they did it, but it is great stuff! I used it on my bikini area as well and had absolutely no irritation at all and no razor burn. I use the AG Buffing Wash before using this shave gel and my skin is sooo smooth. Awesome!

I love every Amazing Grace product, and this new addition is great. It allows for a smooth shave, leaving your legs so that you don't need to use any lotion afterwards. And, as with all of the AG products, it smells so good. One word of advice - it's a little thinner than you might expect, so be careful when you first open it, as you may loose some product down the drain that you didn't want to.

I used to use Philosophy's "Empowermint" shave cream and was horribly disappointed when it was no longer available. The amazing grace shave cream is amazing! I've tried 4 different shave creams and gels from sephora and this one tops them all! Good for sensitive areas and leaves you with a close smooth shave!!!

Quick Take: skin-gliding
Holy smokes this makes my legs smooth for way longer than my regular shaving foam (I usually use the Nivea sensitive skin gel for men) ... the key is to use a SMALL amount (because it's expensive) and to remember that it doesn't really foam up ... it just creates an excellent glide for your razor. And it smells divine!! :)

I really like this product but it is really just like lotion. It smells great though. I only use it sometimes because of the cost. I think I could get the same results with a cheaper lotion.
