I love this primer! it feels like pearls rubbing on your skin, I have very oily skin and I feel this primer keeps my oil under control.... I don't think I could use any other primers after usingthis one.... the only thing I ddon't like is the price.

Got a sample of this and its amazing! Before all the primers I used were either to heavy/oily or wouldn't hide my pores. This product hides my pores isn't oily or heavy makes my face a smooth canvas for makeup and doesn't clog my pores!

This product is amazing. Went to the pool and it was HOT but my make up didn't move at all! Love it. Oh AND it doesn't clog my pores. Smooth and fabulous!

Perhaps other primers are just fine for people with normal skin. But if you struggle with keeping foundation set because your skin is oily or you perspire easily, this is the one you want. Totally worth the money!

When I got this product, I had no actual experience with primers. Now that I have this, I really don't think I could go without it now. When I use it, my makeup stays in place. If I forget to use it, my makeup does not stay and it makes me sad.
For a first time primer, I'd say it's great to try! Especially if you're looking for something that isn't heavy feeling, but you know it will help your makeup stick better...this is worth a go. Approved!

I really love hourglass products as they have great ingredients.. This primer is excellent. It feels great on and gives you a perfect canvas to apply make up so your pours look smaller, make up stays put and skin looks great with nothing creasing in your lines, Love it.

This is the best primer out there!! I have combo skin, dry on my cheeks but very oily on my T-zone with massive pores on my nose. This does a phenomenal job at keeping my foundation on and lasting throughout the day! I used to wear MUFE Mat Velvet foundation because of my oily skin but they don't have the color variety that MUFE HD foundation has. I felt like my skin was too oily for the HD foundation until I tried it with this primer! One pump (from the 0.33) oz bottle) is all you need and it has lasted me 2 months (worn everyday). My foundation never looks like its sliding off my face anymore. It doesn't completely fill in my pores but like I said, my pores are huge. This is a must if you have oily skin!!

The price turned me off but I had to try the foundation and primer anyway. You can always send it back so I gave it a shot. This primer is like no other I have ever tried. It is a bit thick but it spreads easy. Give it a few minutes to sink in and it turns to a velvety soft matte finish. I wear my MUFE HD over it and it looks perfect! Only oil breakthrough was on my nose and it just took a pat with my powder compact. WIll be purchasing full size. All you need is one pump so it will last a very long time!

This has to be the best face primer ever! I got a sample from Sephora and used it once... then went straight back to buy the bottle. I have very oily skin and occasionally some products make me break out. This stuff keeps me matte all day and doesn't break me out at all. I had a hard time with my makeup melting off throughout the day but this stuff has totally changed that. I can work all day, go to the gym and my makeup still looks great! It may be pricey but I can literally use one pump for my entire face so I feel like this will last me a very long time. Worth every penny in my eyes!

I purchased this as a result of the many reviews I read on sephoa. My area of concern is my red noise. I use this protect sparingly all over my face and works to keep the nose concealer in place and gives my skin a Matt finish. It also helps my foundation last longer . It's not greasy and a little goes a long way.

I have never found such an amazing primer. Hourglass primer perfectly balances your face before foundation etc. Also balancing out your completion and leaving your face so smooth. I love this product and it works with any type of skin!

Received a sample of this and will absolutely purchase the full size. Usually primers do nothing for me, so I don't bother. This one is fabulous. Very light weight and absorbs quickly; seems to absorb oil (though not sure if it's the mattifier I also use or this product); doesn't ball up during application; and doesn't make my tinted moisturizer change color. Yes, yes, yes! After 8 hours and powder touch up, makeup still looks great.

This primer is just perfect at keeping my makeup in place and keeping my shine from coming through. All of my makeup is mattifying since I have super-oily skin and sometimes that can make it appear mask-like and caked on even with the smallest amount. This primer makes my foundation and powder appear flawless while not making me even slightly oily. It also keeps my foundation from wearing off splotchy and unevenly. I just can't say enough good things about this primer. I'd heard so many great things about this I knew I had to try it but was hesitant to buy the full size since it was kind of pricey. After using this for a few weeks, I know I will DEFINITELY be repurchasing the full size when this runs out.

This was a recommendation from a Sephora Consultant and while I like the matte finish it gives me under my CC cream, it only lasts a few hours with my oily/combination skin. I am not into makeup and layering and when something doesn't work completely--I tend to move on. I should probably add a powder to set the look, but honestly, I don't want to have to add another step. We'll see...

I bought this after requesting a sample from "Hourglass". Love the texture and way it makes my skln feel. However, it did not minimize shine. I needed to blot throughout the day just I like must do with just about all the other primers on he market.
