I've tried several mattifying powders and this one lives up to its claims! I use Shiseido blotting papers and UD de-slick in the middle of my work day and my make-up looks wonderful for the rest of the day! it really controls the oil! A little goes a long way. If you use too much, it will make your face look chalky. This is a must have!!

Have tried many different products to eliminate/cover the shine on my face and nothing seems to compare to this product. I don't use the sponge it comes with as it does make it look like you have white powder on your face. So instead I just use a brush and it seems to work perfectly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a translucent powder to cover shine.

I use this in the morning on top of my foundation and usually again if I'm going out. It keeps shine at bay much longer than anything else I've tried and is lightweight.

Loved this product. It does exactly what it says it is going to do. I have an olive completion and this actually looked great. It JUST stops the shine and slightly covers and blends into any skin tone. Wonderful!

It really didn't take care of any oil problems I was having. My skin gets incredibly shiny in the afternoon, and I put enough powder on my T-zone to make it matte again, but it didn't take any more than 30 mins before I was shiny again.

it cracked- 11.02.09

This product appears to be good but it's not. When i bought it, it worked good to cover up the oil but I had to keep replying it a lot and it seemed like the more i reaplied it my face would seem oiler. Then, after not even a month of purchase the pressed powder cracked somehow. I think it is to powdery to be pressed, it just can't hold together. Luckily I was able to return it and get my money back. I would never purchase this product again.

What can I say? It's simply an incredible powder. I use it for touch ups..actually, touch up SINGULAR because that's all I have to do since I started using this in conjunction with another loose powder. It's not cakey and it will last forever.

Works even for a dark complexion, but don't put too much on or you'll look ghostly.
This is good for dabbing away inconsistencies in color/perspiration or oily-ness, but if you're dark you don't want to rub it all over, or it might make you look pale/ghostly. I dab it on my nose and under my eyes. Not fond of the sponge it came with. Very thin and cheap, but besides that it's useful and I keep it handy in my purse with me.

This product works relatively well for my oily spots. I use a large stippling brush to apply it with in the morning so it won't make my face too pale. It does hold oil at bay, but in this humidity, I still get oily faster than I was hoping. It works beautifully to touch up makeup without smearing any of what you have on! It definitely won't cake up either--nice and smooth application. I will definitely keep using this!

I really like to use this right after my foundation not much because of the oil but to get better grip on my eyeshadow. I use I brush to apply de-slick all over my face and eyelids my eyeshadow stays longer and it doesnt wear out like normally would without the de-slick.

keeps oil away for hours without looking cakey. the packaging is sturdy and high quality. the only thing i don't like about this product is how hard the powder is in the pan. i have to really work my brush into it to get payoff, but in the end it's worth it.

I was a little skeptical when the salesperson recommended this product. The product is white and I am not. To my surprise, it was invisible on my skin and I no longer shine like a 100 watt bulb. I love it!

I found this in July when I went to Sephora for some wedding makeup. I hate the way some compacts turn orange or cake up. This is awesome for helping to control oil. If you sweep it on with good big brush it does not look white. It just controls oil. My wedding photo's prove that! Always in my purse.
