I actually hate this sponge. It just came with the foundation I bought but I don't find I like it at all. I don't like the coverage I get with it. I much prefer my foundation make up brush over using the sponge. I find it easier to get the coverage i want with a make up brush and a smoother looking finish. I use this for touch ups through the day if needed but I dislike using it for even that (there is just a convenient compartment on the foundation case)

Too dense, but does the job

The only complaint I have about the sponge is that it's waaay too dense. It feels like I'm rubbing the sponge on my face instead of lightly powdering. Hardly any makeup soaks into the sponge, though, so that's great. It's also fairly large.

I change sponges on a weekly basis because of my acne. I think is a good price for the sponge since it works great and I've tried cheaper sponges and those dont work well. The sponge does has a weird smell to it, but I really dont mind. This sponge is really soft and it doesn't soaks up the makeup and its applied very smoothly.

Good sponge. Maybe not worth the price, because you can get similar sponges maybe slightly smaller for cheaper. But it is very durable. I've washed it atleast 20 times & its still holding up.

Quick Take: soft bristles
I like this spong it seems durable and it can be reused after a good wash. I haven't tried it yet but I like Makeup Forever brand so I know that this sponge sis top quality!

All sponges aren't created equality like I first thought. I've tried other cheaper Sponges with my MUFE duo mat powder foundation but they didn't apply like this one. This one is worth splurging a little.

Really makes a difference

I lost a sponge from a compact and replaced it one of these. It's been excellent and lasted over a year, maybe even a year and half. It washes well and stayed in perfect condition, until it fell into the sink in a somewhat dirty ladies' room. The sink was so dirty I didn't want to risk trying to clean the sponge. I just came to order another but it's out of stock. These are great. I'll be getting another when it arrives because now I replace all my sponges with one of these. Application is best with a good sponge like this.

MUFE's products are absolutely wonderful. And, yes, this sponge is worth $4. When wet, it spreads and blends powder foundation beautifully. You can wet and wash it over and over and it doesn't get all crumbly like dimestore sponges do. Excellent sponge.
