smells waaay too much like alcohol & lemons

i purchased this last-minute because i was out of the hairspray i normally use, and found out that store was no longer there once i arrived to the mall to get more. so i walked into trusty sephora to find a suitable replacement (THEY get 5 stars for their helpfulness), but this hairspray just didn't work for me. aside from not being able to stomach the strong lemony-alcohol smell, it didn't at all deliver lasting volume as it advertised. so back it went.

Ohhhh my I love the way this smells. I really like flowery smells anyway so having my hair smell like jasmine and be full and voluminous is such a bonus. I wish other brands would make more hair products smell like jasmine and less like chemicals . I'm completely hooked on his hair spray! You have to try it, you'll fall in love with it also. It seems pricy for a can of hair spray but it lasts for a long time and you really only need a few sprays of it. It's completely worth the money.

This hairspray has good flexible hold and i love the scent, but my can clogged up when the can was 3/4 empty and nothing i did could unclog it. Its unfortunate, because it wouldve been a 5 star product.

Love this stuff. It has medium natural looking hold and gives my hair shine, and has a light long lasting signature blandi jasmine scent. I cant wait for the full size bottle to come back in stock so i can snap it up!

The spray ended up being really sticky and my hair kind of looked like a big spider's web. It did have good hold, and might be useful if you're looking to texturize an updo or something, but I had to pass.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight
I LOVE this hairspray. I am a girl of the 80's and 90's so I love me some hairspray. However, the hold on this spray is just enough, not too hard, not too soft. and the smell is amazing. I have seen that some reviewers hate teh smell. to me it is amazing. but i love gardenia and jasmine. i will forever buy this product.

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use, floral scent
The smell is something to get used to, but it's not horrible. After awhile it does make your hair smell good and look good. Always get compliments on my curls when I use this hairspray because it leaves my hair shiny and gives it volume.

I was shocked the first time I used this. I hadn't checked any reviews before buying it so I wasn't alerted to the smell issue. I was walking outside and my hair got caught in a breeze and I was like, WHOA. My hair smells GREAT! The longer I have used it the more I like it. It is a great light spray with good holding power. The smell is really strong and stays that way, you just have to decide if it is for you or not. I am not a floral smell gal, but I actually love it! I also like that it doesn't dull out my hair and it leaves it nice and shiny.

But it smells a little too "rosey" to me, Kinda reminds me of something my grandmother would wear. Spray sparingly (even on thicker (asian) hair.

good hairspray does not dry or dull your hair....this hairspray definitely holds the style and looks good when on.....when you brush out it is like glue...it drys and dulls must wash hair after each use....hmmmm

Sorry, but this was the first time I HAD TO return a product to Sephora. While the scent seemed lovely inside the store, the first time I tried it at home, oh...my...goodness. I was enveloped in a fog of flowers that followed me everywhere. HILARIOUS. I have no idea how it performs as a hairspray, but if you are looking for a room deodorizer and love a glorious floral scent, then this is for you, baby! Ha-ha...I couldn't take it.

This spray is heavy duty! Do not use a lot,it does get sticky and gunky like any other if you use too much. Just a light spray gives strong hold and great shine. Touchable? Maybe not so much. I do love it but learned quickly to use a light hand!

I'm never usually offended by smells - I love perfumed products and scents, so I'm not in any way over-sensitive about smells, but this is just way too much. It's so over-powering, the jasmine is almost artificially strong. And it sticks to your hair for hours! The product itself was fine, nothing special, but would not recommend this.

I wanted something that smelled like honeysuckle and this hairspray came up in the search. I ordered the small bottle and was AMAZED at the beautiful smell and the fabulous hold of this hairspray. I would use it as air freshener if it weren't sticky! It really holds your hair in whichever style you put it. I recommend making sure you have your hair styled exactly the way you need it to be before you spray this. It's lightweight with awesome hold.

Quick Take: the honeysuckle scent is overpowering!
This hairspray is actually a great product. My problem with it is the overwhelming scent! This is how it's written in the product description: subtle honeysuckle scent. Well, that's baloney! The honeysuckle is so strong it's overpowering. I have my own scent I prefer to wear when going out, thank you. It's a shame, too. It's such a good hair spray!

I have been happy with other Oscar Blandi products, but I am returning this one. It is sticky and the smell is too strong. I had trouble combing out a section of my hair that had been sprayed. Reminds me of the hair sprays available decades ago.
