Quick Take: good value, portable
the Kat Von D true romance eyeshadow palette is a good value because you get 8 shadows for $35, however, the shadow doesn't last all day on your eyes unless you use a base or shadow primer. The colors don't come out as vibrant as they look.

Quick Take: good value
These colors are AMAZING! Love the rich shadow that does what shadow should do - show off your eyes. I have had more fun with this shadow then most I've ever purchased. Only bummed I didn't purchase the other color sets while I was in the store!

I recently purchased this product and I absolutely love it! Thank God for Kat Von D's make-up line. The lipstick, the primer, and now the shadow is fabulous! I wouldn't want to use anything else. It doesn't irritate my skin, it goes on so smoothly and is easily removed.

I wish I could give this five stars over and over again. My favorite, out of all her palettes, and out of all the makeup I've bought. The colors are gorgeous, there's a lot of ways to use it, and it's very easily blended. Lasts a long time on my eyes, and shows up true to color. Makes my blue eyes look stunning, and doesn't overpower my face with crazy neon colors. So glad it came with the little brushes it did, and not the stupid, cheap, foam ones. Perfect makeup if you know how to use it right. ;)

The colors are very profound, you only need little application on the eyes, it's very versatile and looks great at any time of the day. I absolutely love the differents shades that can be blended for different looks. I would definetly recommend this palette for anyone with a rebellious streak.

this is my everyday neutral palette. I have MAC dupes of all these colors and these colors are a million times better and very pigmented. i recommend this. I use the first half for night time looks and the 2nd half of the colors for everyday.

The color palette is what I expected and is versatile for everyday use. I do wish there was one blue shade in there. I haven't attempted to use the black yet, but the rest of the colors are great. It also stays on all day long, which is a definite positive. The little brushes it comes with are pretty much useless to me, so I threw them out. They scratch at the powder and make a mess in the case. My soft eye-shadow brush does just the trick.

Quick Take: portable
This is one of the best color palettes I have ever bought. I use every single color in it, which is so rare for me. I'm used to buying a set of shadows and using maybe half of them. These are highly pigmented, blendable, and gorgeous. I love the way the shades bring out the green in my eyes and offer a wide range of color-mixing options. I'm thinking of buying a 2nd set just in case it gets discontinued. Oh, and the quality of the shadow in this palette is way better than in Kat's shadow duos. The only downsides are the silly little brushes that come with it and that all the colors (except lucifer and leather) are shimmer, so they may be a little much if you're going for a natural look. If you love the glamor shimmer without huge sparkles, this is the set for you.

Nothing Extraordinary- 03.05.10
I was not really impressed with this palette. While the colors are very pigmented, many of the browns are very similar in the way that they appear once applied to the skin. However, if you are someone not wanting to buy drugstore makeup, I highly recommend giving this a try. For 30 some dollars, you have enough colors to play around with to create a few looks, but not enough to keep you from being bored. Also, even with a primer, the eyeshadow did not last very long on my skin.

I LOVE this palette! I have been using it for about a year, and I still have a lot of product. A little goes a long way, and the colors are very pigmented and go on smoothly. The shimmer is also very pretty. I also like that I can use the matte brown to define my eyebrows. :) I highly recommend this palette, even though the price is a little high, it is worth it!

i would give this product 6 stars if i could. it has been a long time since i have been so happy with an eyeshadow palette. the colors are absolutely perfect. they go on very easily and last all day. i was afraid the greens might look too green or bright but they actually blend perfectly. both color palettes are awesome for day or night wear. so happy with this purchase!

The colors are great....just have your own brushes handy it comes with 2 litte things you cant do much with....other than that your good to go....took off the one star for the lame brushes....but to be fair it could be just me
