I absolutely love this stuff. It is perfect for traveling. Instead of taking my large bottle of Lancôme bi facil I can take this instead without worrying about spillage and space. It works incredibly taking off liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara. I don't see how I lived without this before!

Quick Take: nourishing
I have been using this product for several years and much prefer it to any liquid eye makeup remover I have ever used. There is no pulling or tugging on the delicate eye tissue. The emollients leave the eye area soft and promote hydration overnight. One tin lasts for a long time too, which makes it very cost effective!

I've used this eye makeup remover for a couple of years now. It removes waterproof mascara very well. I like the creamy texture much better than liquid removers, which tend to get in my eyes easier. I really like Balms Away.

I bought this over three years ago, and I still have a good month of usage left in the tin. Sure it's a little messy, but compared to other eye make up removers I used in the past, it's actually effective. I went through two bottles of the Chanel one previouslly, which was terrible at removing product, and it left the eyes irritated. Balms Away is so nourishing and soothing, considering the trauma of removing mascara and liner!

I'm so happy I purchased this. The tiniest bit goes a loooong way, and it's one of the only eye make up remover that actually gets my lashes and eyelids completely clear of mascara and liner. I put on just a dab and wipe it clean with a soft cloth. I would absolutely recommend this.

Yes it will remove eye makeup but so will anything oily. No matter how little I use there is still a film even after removing with a towel and then washing. Normally have to use body bar soap to remove. If a separate eye or face makeup is needed and are willing to use the "double cleanser" method - start with an oil cleanser and then follow with your normal cleanser (I have super oily skin and love Bobbi Brown's oil cleanser followed by Purity Gel used with my Clarisonic).
Avoid...i'ts worse than smearing petroleum jelly.

Nice tin, nice idea, but I only want to rinse with water after, who wants to still have to use face wash when finished?
Also, the main ingredient is mineral oil, not my favorite stuff.

This stuff is amazing. Not only does it remove stubborn waterproof eye makeup quickly, it keeps my lashes and eyes moisturized. Although the price seems steep, I've had the tin for six months and have barely put a dent into it. It's worth it.

LOVE this stuff. I never, ever would've thought something like this would work so wonderfully. It takes off my waterproof mascara in seconds- With my old liquid stuff, I had to make a few passes to even make a dent in the mascara, let alone remove it.
Also love that a tiny smidge goes a long way- My tin will last forever, but when it runs out I'm definitely rebuying it.

i really love this product...i actually found this at Marshall's for $10 bucks but i would buy it full price from here when i run out...my eyes look amazing, it is very soothing and it takes off all of my eye make up in seconds.

OK so was strange at first, but it WORKS! I feel like it moisturizes my eyes while making sure to get every last speck of makeup off and doesn't leave a greasy residue. It actually even seems to condition my eyelashes! Plus you only use a tiny bit each time, so this enormous tin will last forever.

I use heavy duty waterproof eye make up & this stuff takes it off fast & without pulling out my eyelashes.
It also doesn't make the skin around my eyes red, which I've had happen with other eye make-up removers.
A little goes a long way with this. It's lasts a long time & is well worth the price.

moisturizing and gentle, but it takes a lot to get my makeup off and I don't wear any waterproof products. I use it at night before I wash my face otherwise it leaves a bit of a film. It's just ok...

this appears to just be Vasaline!
not good for your eyes as the main ingredient is petro. oil. It made a big black oil slick all around my eye area that then required far to much scrubbing and tugging.
I love all the balm makeup I have ever used.... but this is bad.

Use as directed- scoop a small amount onto and around your eye, rubbing gently, then use a wet paper towel to wipe it off carefully- then wash your face.
Voila, all eye makeup gone! No panda eyes!
I love it for traveling because it doesnt leak everywhere like some other makeup removers.

Quick Take: gentle
This is an excellent gentle eye makeup remover, and will cut through even heavy eye makeup. It does take a little work to get all the aftermath off (this stuff dissolves your eye makeup but doesn't wipe off super-easily, it takes a couple passes with the tissue), but my favorite thing about this is that it's so travel friendly & leak proof. This and some cleanser are all you need to get every trace of makeup off, with no irritation. I love this stuff.

I love products by TheBalm, and I was prepared to love this one. Unfortunately, it just didn't work out for me.
The packaging is super cute. I don't really mind sticking my fingers into products because I wash my hands before doing so. No problems there.
The problem I had is that it did a subpar job of taking off my makeup... I massaged it into my face and toweled it off. There was still makeup residue on my face. Also, I felt like I was over-tugging my skin--not something I wish to do.

I bought my first container of Balms Away almost a year ago, and I'm just now purchasing a new one. A little goes a long way. It's gentle but it removes all traces of the waterproof mascara I use.
